Conclusion and a plant that grows quite slender in bloom doubles if it does not treble its size, responds well to defoliation, it is usually harvested in 8-9 weeks but if it is left a week more mature to perfection. on a scale of 1/10 my vote for this variety is 8.

And then there are phenotypes that seem to walk into the room and say: “You're going to notice me.” Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno A has been doing exactly that. Last week, I called her The Queen of the Canopy. This week? I think she's earned the spotlight. Standing at an impressive 175 cm, she continues to be one of the giants of this room. She's still stretching, still producing new flowers, and still carrying that incredible lush green appearance that has made her such an interesting phenotype to follow. And this week we made one small intervention. Nothing dramatic. Nothing aggressive. Just enough defoliation to give this beautiful lady a little more room to breathe. And honestly... She looks fantastic. 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. This project is all about discovering how different genetics and phenotypes express themselves when grown side by side under the same conditions. Twelve plants. The same room. The same environment. The same lighting strategy. The same nutrition. The same irrigation. The same daily care. And from the very beginning, these plants have been grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. The idea is simple: Remove as many variables as possible... …and then let genetics tell the story. And believe me, they always do. Some plants stay compact. Some stretch dramatically. Some flower early. Some develop unusual leaf structures. Some become incredibly branchy. And some, like this Amnesia Haze Pheno A, simply decide that 175 cm isn't tall enough yet. 😂🌱 👑 The Queen of the Canopy There is no question anymore. This phenotype is a giant. At 175 cm, Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno A continues to dominate the vertical space of the room. But what I love most isn't simply her height. It's the combination of height, structure and vitality. She's not a tall, weak plant desperately reaching for the light. She's tall and strong. Her branches have developed beautifully, her stems have thickened, and she's carrying flowering sites all along her architecture. The plant has that wonderful combination of elegance and strength. And then there's the colour. That deep, healthy green. An incredible amount of foliage. A genuinely lush plant. Looking at her now, it's easy to understand why she needed a little bit of extra space. 🍃 A Little Defoliation — Nothing Extreme This was one of the phenotypes that received some light defoliation this week. And I want to make something very clear: This was not a heavy strip. I wasn't trying to transform the plant into a skeleton. Quite the opposite. She simply had enough foliage that some areas were becoming crowded, so I selectively removed a few leaves where they were creating unnecessary overlap and limiting airflow or access to developing flowers. The objective was simple: Create space without sacrificing the plant's ability to photosynthesize. Healthy fan leaves are incredibly valuable. They're part of the plant's energy-producing system, so I prefer to keep as much healthy foliage as possible when the plant doesn't need intervention. In this case, however, a small amount of selective defoliation made sense. And looking at her now... I think she agrees. 😎 The canopy still looks incredibly lush. The plant hasn't lost her personality. If anything, the flowers are now easier to appreciate. 🌸 Flowers Everywhere And this is where things become really exciting. The flower development is looking beautiful. There are developing flowers distributed throughout the plant, with fresh pistils continuing to emerge and the calyxes gradually building their structure. The flowers are still in that wonderful stage where you can almost watch them changing every few days. More pistils. More calyxes. More resin. More structure. More density. The photographs this week really capture that progression. She's no longer simply a tall plant with flowering sites. She's becoming a flowering machine. And with so many branches carrying flowers from top to bottom, I'm very curious to see how much these sites will swell during the coming weeks. 🌿 Her Quirky Personality Remains One thing I absolutely love about phenotype hunting is that perfection isn't the goal. Individuality is. And this girl certainly has some. Some leaves continue to twist. Others curl in unusual ways. There are leaves that seem to have decided they don't particularly care about following the textbook. 😂 But the plant itself remains vigorous, healthy and productive. That distinction is important. A plant doesn't have to look perfectly symmetrical to be performing beautifully. Sometimes those little quirks are exactly what make a phenotype memorable. And after eight weeks of watching her develop... I can confidently say that Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno A has plenty of personality. 💚 An Outstanding Lush Green One of the first things that hits me when looking at this week's photographs is the sheer amount of green. She's lush. She's vigorous. She's full of life. Even after the selective defoliation, there is still an enormous amount of healthy foliage covering the plant. And that's exactly what I want to see at this stage. The leaves are actively supporting the developing flowers while the plant continues transitioning from structural growth toward flower production. The balance between foliage and flowers is becoming particularly interesting now. We're getting enough light penetration to reach deeper areas, while the remaining leaves continue powering the plant. It's a beautiful balance. 💡 Light From Above — And Below The introduction of the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting continues to make this run particularly interesting. The Future of Grow Black Series LED provides the primary overhead illumination, while the under-canopy lighting gives us another way of distributing usable light through the lower portions of the plant. And with a plant this tall and this heavily branched, that becomes especially interesting. There is a huge difference between the top of this plant and the lower flowering sites. Rather than expecting every flower to receive the same intensity naturally, we're experimenting with additional light distribution. The coming weeks should tell us much more about how those lower flowers respond. And that's one of the things I love about the 8×8 Adventure. We're not just growing plants. We're observing them. 💧 Feeding the Queen She's certainly not behaving like a plant with a small appetite. The current feeding continues with the Plagron flowering program. This is my first ever grow and i have learned a lot and will forever be learning but one thing I’m going to do is upgrade my lights I made the mistake of going as cheap as possible when I should just shell out the money cause despite this genetic not being a big yeilder I’ve seen someone complain and say they wish they had an xl version when they got a whole oz from their plant I’m guessing I got like 4gs if I’m lucky but it was my mistake you live and you learn, much love❤️

Given them a big juicy feed, they're only needed watering once or twice every 7 days. Waiting for that stretch, structures look ok but I'll be doing a final lollipop in 2-3 weeks to focus on the above the net buds only. 17.6 And the stretch begins, I see the subtle but clear first signs of slightly less dark green in the growth tips appear. They've grown at least a cm or two in 24 hours. Canopy looking nice and even and I think it will all fill the net nicely. Took a few fan leaves from the litter portion of the plants and one or two that were on top shading. Still don't feel dry enough to water, time to give them an extra boost of nutrients in the next watering and see if they cope. I have added a top dress. 18.6 Added the mars hydro UV and IR combo lights, we'll see if they do make a difference. Still feel quite heavy, no need for water yet. Each cola has no more than 3 nodes on each, and there's a few side branches (single node branches) bit they may not name the cut , we'll see before a major defoliation in 10-15 days time. 21.6 Finally needed a watering, so gave them the same juicy feed. Stetching is good, not too lanky.... Yet

Week 1 of Veg is officially in the books! It worked out perfectly that this update falls right on a Sunday. Everyone’s in weekend mode, and I actually have the time to sit down and update the diary. What happened so far: September 6th – The Transfer Transferred the sprouted seedlings into the Spider Farmer DWC buckets. Each bucket was filled with 17 liters of water (exactly reaching the bottom of the net pots). For the base water, I used RO water re-mineralized with Canna Mono CaO (1.2 ml / 5L) and MgO (0.8 ml / 5L) up to a base EC of 270 µS/cm. You may ask why single mono-nutrients instead of premixed CalMag. The reason is simply that I grow other plant species that require completely different Ca:Mg ratios than cannabis. Using single elements gives me total control to fix a specific deficiency (like Calcium) on the fly without unnecessarily bumping up Magnesium. Also added Canna Aqua nutrients (Vega A+B) and Rhizotonic according to the feeding chart to hit an initial target EC of 1.2 mS/cm (1200 µS/cm). Set the initial pH to 5.5. Substrate Choice: Pumice over Clay Pebbles Instead of expanded clay (hydroton), I’m using pumice in the net pots. Why you ask: Immediate Nutrient Availability: Pumice holds water and oxygen exceptionally well. The roots get immediate access to nutrients the moment they grow out of the rockwool cube—gaining a couple of crucial days before they even touch the main reservoir. Another reason is Algae Control: Its dense structure blocks light penetration much better than clay pebbles, keeping the reservoir dark and free of algae. Lighting & Tent Constraints Set the Lumatek ATS 300W Pro (dimmed to 25%) at 50 cm (20") above the bucket tops, giving a PPFD of 300 µmol/m²/s. Tent Layout Note: Space is tight inside an 80x80x180 cm setup (that's roughly 31.5" x 31.5" x 70.8" for my imperial friends). The DWC buckets take up 40 cm (~16") of vertical space, and I expect a decent stretch (plus I'm still figuring out if 1-handed mainlining is doable! Maybe I have to change the Diary title to not-so-lazy grow). To maximize headroom, I mounted the inline fan and carbon filter completely outside the tent so the LED can go as high as needed later on. Daily Log & Water Chemistry: Sept 7: pH crept up to 6.2 (expected as the pumice settles in). Adjusted back down to 5.5. Sept 8: Minor pH drift to 6.1 → corrected to 5.5. Sept 9: pH at 5.9 → adjusted to 5.6. Measured EC spiked slightly from 1200 to 1300 µS/cm due to minerals leaching from the washed pumice. Top-up with re-mineralized RO water brought it right back to 1200 µS/cm. Both seedlings sitting happy at 2 cm height. Sept 10: pH adjusted from 5.8 to 5.5. Raised the LED to 59 cm (23") above the buckets (reducing PPFD to 260 µmol/m²/s). The initial 300 PPFD kept them from stretching early on, resting at 2.5 cm (1") height. Sept 11: Reservoir stabilized! pH held firm with no adjustments needed. Sept 12: Small pH correction from 5.7 back down to 5.5. Sept 13 (End of Week 1): Minor pH adjustment from 5.7 back down to 5.5. Plants are showing great progress and healthy leaf development—leaf span measured at ~5 cm (2") on Plant 1 and ~6 cm (2,4") on Plant 2. Both have a height of 3 cm (~1.2"). Ready for Week 2!

Flush day! Have some big bud with purple shade.

This plant is really vigorous and putting on a bunch of mass to the buds. Just smells sweet and fruity rn but the leaves are turning a bit purple as she gets toward the end. Gonna feed for a bit more then start to flush as I think it's BPP but who knows lol sometimes mix pack is nice it makes you read the plant more not just go off what others did. Overall think she will be a beast 💪 Happy growing 🌴

Assuming there’s only a few weeks left before harvest, 2-3 weeks. More or less the same thing throughout. Didn’t deal with pests, disease…just lived a good life

The strain is fantastic! While my yield was slightly less than anticipated, I'm not complaining because I truly appreciate the quality.

I am continuing the feedings of Plagron nutrients three times daily, and I'm monitoring the reservoir before each, adjusting the nutrient level to 650-700ppm @ 5.9-6.2 ph. The solution temperature is maintaining a steady 73-75℉. As a side note; as the weather gets colder I may install a heat mat, controlled by a thermostat, under the reservoir to ensure proper temp's in it. 10/27- Our weather has warmed up the past couple of days. Because of this I've had to lower the light output to 55% in order to keep the tent temp's below 82℉. The Strawberry Gorilla's are showing zero sign of heat stress so I'm not terribly concerned, especially as the weather will be dramatically cooling off in a day or two. I upped the nutrient ppm level to 800 with the addition of Plagron's Royal Rush 8-0-0 which will continue in their feeding through flower. I'll also be adding Plagron Green Sensation in another 7-10 days which will also continue through flowering. I'm continuing to tuck shade leaves daily on all three girls, and have been gently bending down their side branches as well. 10/29- Today I adjusted the feeding schedule for the Strawberry Gorilla's to six feeds a day. The first feed begins two hours after 'lights on', then every three hours until 'lights off' which the girls should enjoy! I am currently keeping the nutrient level to 800ppm, and have begun to introduce Plagron's Green Sensation @ 2ml/g 10/31- 👻 HAPPY HALLOWEED! 🎃 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! La semaine prochaine, je vais retirer les sceaux que j'ai mis en dessous pour essayer de les remettre à la même hauteur que les autres. Sinon les plantes m'ont l'air d'être en bonne forme. Hi everyone I chop her down day 86 and let her dry in 19° temp and RH 65 % I'm going to slow drying for best results 7 to 8 days She is very dense and sticky bud and so heavy too I think she yield over 150g plus but the bud are not 100% purple its mix with light purple and green ass you can see in pic or video but still I'm very very happy and already germinate another purple lemonade 💜 next week I will update smoke reviews and final dry weight 😀

Su olor es muy fuerte y se siente lo citrico. En estos momentos se encuentran en curado, la corte hace 7 dias aproximadamente. Se ven muy bien, estan super pegajosos y muy lindos.
