Progress and Observations In week 6 of flowering, my plants are displaying significant development. The buds are swelling noticeably, and resin production is increasing, filling the grow area with a rich aroma. Weather Conditions and Plant Health Unfortunately, the weather in Germany has turned to consistent rain over the next five days, which is less than ideal for the final growth phase. To protect the plants, I've moved them into the greenhouse full-time. This controlled environment shields them from adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable conditions for continued growth. Pest Management I'm pleased to report minimal pest issues thus far. Nightly patrols continue to manage the snail population effectively, supported by lettuce leaf traps. There have been no signs of spider mites, aphids, or thrips, providing relief. With the ongoing rainy weather, I remain vigilant against potential snail problems. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update The plants I trained with LST have responded positively and continue to develop well. I did some more LST to maximize light to the colas. The canopy remains even, and the bud sites are receiving ample light, allowing for a slight upward stretch to maximize bud growth during these final weeks of flowering. I try not to cut off any fan leaves because I think they're here for a reason. I like to tug them behind the steam or the side branches. Only if the leaves show significant signs of illness or pest then I remove them. Looking Ahead As we move further into the flowering stage, my focus will be on maintaining optimal conditions to maximize bud development and resin production. I am also diligently monitoring the humidity levels in the greenhouse, as this is crucial for preventing mold growth. The plants are looking promising, and I’m excited to see how they progress in the coming weeks. Update 03.07 What is noticeable is that both untrained plants are entering the full flowering mode faster than the trained ones. Have you had similar experiences? Update 05.07 Today I checked the girls and found the Banana purple punch with the top leaves starting to curl down. After asking the community I found out that everything looks like a starting nitrogen toxicity. But only on that plant. Seems kind of strange that the others having no issues at all despite having the same amount of nutes. I decided to treat the symptoms a once so I flushed with 5l PH water. The first runoff was a little lower (5.5 / EC 1.09) but not really concerning. Afterwards I give the plant the half amount of the tripart flowering scheme (with added CalMag 2 ml/l PH 6.2). First off. I DO NOT USE TERRA AQUATICA NUTRIENTS. I USE FLORANOVA GROW AND FLORANOVA BLOOM Breakup Cake is still growing strong and healthy. Did a little defoliation on her, with more to come. She is a strong resistance plant. Tall and slim this one. Flowering time will happen soon. Once the the daylight hours hit 14 hours, these girls will start rockin. On the grow itself, I just got twice as much yield with 1/3 fewer plants by switching to coco and CocoTek, I would count that a win. Zero stress so I was right, grow them without stress and you will be rewarded. Just the easiest best smelling little plant to grow. Always germs well and produces long as you treat her right. I'm currently flushing with decanted water for 48 hours, using Bio-Down to lower my pH, which is still between 6.65 and 6.7. Even with just water, it's still producing flowers. My harvest is still scheduled for March 29th. Next, I've selected my next strains that I'll be planting. I'll start a separate journal for each strain, which will be 6 strains from 5 different seed banks. Flowering is well under way! one of the Banana Purple Punches is already kind enough to start purpling! Rootjuice has been faded out to 0. Watering on 13/03 with 4 ml/L of terra bloom, 1,4 EC, 1.5L each per plant Watering on 16/03 with 5 ml/L of terra bloom, 1.6 EC, 1.5L each per plant Defoliated today, hopefully for the last time. Mainly the insides of every plant where it gets too bushy. i used the trellis net in the early week of veg just to help me spread the branches out, now im unsure of what to do with it (continue, dont continue etc) since im pretty happy with how the plants turned out training wise. it still functions to hold my humidity sensors i can check over my feed so its not "useless" lol

Started the first top dressing of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom at a 50/50 ratio of 1tbsp/gal each.

The new developing growth is green so everything seems to be going well. I’m gonna give it another week and then I’ll defoliate. So far so good. having a little trouble reversing the wrath rock, candy icy cuts. but I’m not worried. I have backups of the mothers and I have backups of those backups so I’ll definitely still be able to take another shot after seeing the results from this grow ….

Flower starts in this week. Ima start off 1 day later, so the first night is still on 22/2 because I want the topped shoots to develop properly. Also I have done some more defoliation and just want to give everything another day of recovery. I pushed training hard in the final veggie week because I had two squeeze everything into one week. Additionally I did the mistake of watering the leaves with fertilized water which caused some heavy burn marks. Fortunately as this happened to fan leaves mostly I had to defoliate them anyway. With no hanging leaves and all shoots developing properly ima switch to flower on January 2nd.
