Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is behind us and the plants are progressing nicely. Purple Punch has reached 66 cm, which means it hasn’t grown anything since last week, all the plants are now about the same height which is great considering the light setting. It is nicely branched and wide, it is full of leaves so I will need to do a little cleaning soon. The flowers develop beautifully and take on a round shape. All in all, there is already a real jungle on the "Farm", two Purple Punch, there is also one Watermelon Auto, so each of them is fighting for as much light as possible. The humidity in the Box is still lower than I would like, the temperature is good. Let's see what the week looked like: 24/02/2021 - Day 29. Watering. I regulated, that is, lowered the p.H. at 6.4 and put 1 Easy Bloom Tablet, on 7 liters of water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.8 degrees and 42% humidity. 27/02/2021 - Day 32. Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the second week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.9 degrees and 35% humidity. 02/03/2021 - Day 35. Watering and height measurement. This time I did not add any nutrients but only regulated p.H at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.2 degrees and 39% humidity. Purple Punch Auto # 1 - 66 cm. Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

I spent The long easter weekend at the cottage so leaving my girl was a bit stressful, ph fluctuations could stunt the gros if it occurs. As for water temps i know my root inoculent will ward off root rot if temps gets above 25 degrees, although that was not the real issue,She almost drank herself dry in only 4 days. I had to defoliate her quite a bit but other that that she did just fine on her own

Starting to pick up a bit of bulk now. I'm reluctant to remove some of the fan leaves, because I maimed my first grow lol. So I'm using soft plant wire to hold the fan leaves aside. Allow as much light through to the new nodes

1/22 After some conversations I think I’ve determined the source of my issues. Using primarily coco for organics I guess has some drawbacks and it’s possible that’s why each grow has similar problems around this time. Only thing I can think of to do is top dress in some worm castings mixed in with some more Coco Loco to top off the pots, and then tomorrow I’ll water in the compost tea that I just set up to brew. After that I’ll be doing recharge in almost every watering. Going to try maxing out the microbe content for each pot as much as possible. Along with this I’ll be steadily raising the light intensity to where it should be. Current light setting is 490 PAR / 35.2 DLI. 1/23 Top dressed in about 2 cups of Coco Loco and 1 cup of worm castings to both. Since my coco medium isn’t doing a great job of handling organics I’ll just have to turbo charge the microbe level as much as I can. Both also got a compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. Readjusted the light to 600 PAR / 43.2 DLI. I wanted to go gradual but I’m also curious if they will take that hard step up in light. 1/24 Everything looks really good. I have a good feeling so long as I keep up with recharge and water from here on out it should be fine. 1/25 Both got a full watering with recharge. 1/26 Buds getting fatter and frostier. Looks good.

Well the stretch well and truly came! She is humming along now without me having to alter conditions too much thanks to the lovely local spring weather, The flowering sites have popped up in abundance and the simple LST I was experimenting with, Has certainly given the plant a nice even canopy! Should start seeing some real nice progress happen over the next week or two 🤙 🍃 Happy Growing 🍃

08/03/21: Week 8!!! Her color is finally starting fade (about time lol) we're hoping she flushes fast from here.. we poked around and seeds don't seem to be as big an issue as once thought..her buds have swelled noticeably in the last 3 days, trichs are mostly cloudy..she's getting close 💪🐱💡🌱 08/05/21: We purchased another new 315watt CMH to replace the 630watt that has been blowing bulbs (we were only running1 bulb in it lately)..the plants seem to do better for us with x2 315 lights spread out than 2 bulbs under the same hood..I'm really liking the wider spacing the clones have, they just finished their flower stretch under 315watts and the nodes are about 2-3 inches apart and not stacked tight like they usually were..we may buy another one of these lights just to have on hand...feel free to leave a comment or any suggestions that might help us improve, thank you for reading and happy growing everyone ❤️💡🌱🐈

Ya estamos casi listos para cosechar. Estamos regando con agua y solo lo estrictamente necesario para mantener hidratadas nuestras plantas. Tambien hemos reducido al 50% la potencia de nuestras luminarias LazerLite Pro 720w.

Whew, what a hot, humid and wet week. Although we had a major storm this week, Miss Dosido continued to dance her way through it. The Royal Queen Seeds Website said "it is one of the strongest auto flowers you can grow." The website also says that an outside grow could reach heights of 140 cm which is 55 inches. We are only at 30 inches, but I will accept part of the blame because I used Miracle Grow for its nutrient--I also blame the weather. If you have followed me and read my weather reports, you will agree that hail and 100 degree temperatures are very hard to grow in. LOL. Like I said last week, I stopped using Miracle Grow and started to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice Grow. I am hoping that these nutrients will boost her bud growth even if she is a tad on the shorter side. In addition, Royal Queen Seeds website said Miss Dosido should be ready to take down in 9-10 weeks from germination. She still has some time to perform. Fin de la semana 5, entrando a la semana 6, fue increíble la forma en que crecieron estas señoritas, sin duda haber renovado la bomba de CO2, por una nueva, completamente hecha a mano y casera (1,5 litros de agua tibia, 500 gr. de azúcar blanca granulada y 15 gr. de levadura fresca, en una botella de refresco, con un hoyo en la tapa), hizo que la fotosíntesis fuese mas apresurada, ideal para las plantas de tipo autoflorecientes, el volumen de crecimiento fue aproximadamente de un 45% y logro que ya empezaran a aparecer los primeros pistilos, estoy muy emocionado como han respondido todos los componentes agregados en este cultivo, desde el sustrato de Canna Terra Proffesional, hasta los nutrientes Top Crop, ademas de mencionar a las semillas Fast Buds y las semillas a granel de Bocanda Growshop en Temuco, Chile. Una vez dicho eso, las plantas entraron al quirófano para hacerles su única defoliación pesada entrando establemente en floración, para ello, elimine las hojas más grandes y los micro-tallos que no alcanzaron a entrar en flora esta semana, dejando a los más aptos y fuertes, para su engorde con nutrientes orgánicos (Top Bud y Top Candy).
