With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

Went from 450w to 150w blue for a week due to heat and too much height gain. Weather got cold so I put the 450w red back in as they seem to be thickening up. Feminising was very easy on the ones I chose, I chose only three that had thicker faster flowering and more THC but will cross with the more sativa dominant ones.

El color y grosor de tallos ya esta demas decir lo bien que andan, el olor (que es algo caracteristico de esta etapa de la planta) es muy fuerte y frutal. Estos pre-cogollos tienen una produccion de resina que esperemos se mantenga hasta el final....

Time lapse 23rd June > Aug 21st 2020. Plenty of screwups - over/under watering+ feeding + pollenated the tent with one hermie, two plants throwing nannas (due to UV) out in the last two weeks and the major heatwave all did not help, This was totally my screw up and for that I still give this strain a solid 8/10. The tastes are nice although my first try of Runtz was in Cali and it is certainly another level over there. Unfortunately I did not get a pheno similar to that I smoked in the US but out of the 5 I did get I really enjoyed one of them which is hard hitting! Apologies for the time-lapse as its not always spot on and often other things took over. Stuff never goes the way you plan it in your head. Upon drying the temps were good and they dried okay. The reason why this is a write off is because one of the plants hermied and caused most of the plants to be pollenated. When I harvested I noticed a few nannas poking out so I'm not sure if I let them run too long, too much stress, underwatering, light intensity, the UV bar or heat stress. Anyways I didn't catch it and I have some well developed seeds. I think it's down to the UV bar causing the nannas but the seeds were ripe (tiger stipe brown) so didn't have enough time to grow and ripen. Seeing as I had deficiencies early on in flower - WK4 - I think it happened then. The PP and runtz all have seeds bar one plant (the nice gassy pheno) and the tent was cleaned with bleach, vacuumed and temps increased to over 100f with a heater after disinfecting. Nevertheless I will grow this again! it's all a learning curve! More bud shots to come when cured. Just over an 1oz per plant is pretty poor imo but again you live and learn from your screw up! Got to be on point with my watering next time! That's why I love hydro!

11/5 Week 10 and last full day for Ivy She is ready, trics milky with a tad of amber and smattering of clear. Harvest tomorrow as the rain passes today.

The three in the foreground are transitioning white widows that are not being tracked. This week the bud sites have been fattening some. I noticed some minor leaf tip burn on these girls and moved the light up a few inches to compensate. 🌿👀

Today's day 57 and as you can see she's already starting to fade... I'm going to give her some recharge and a couple days I've been weekly top feeding with the terp tea bloom and watering with silica in between nothing has changed it's been the same regimen from beginning to now.. this isn't the biggest plant but I blame that on organics or at least the organics I'm using anyway.. I might do one more run just to use up what I have and then I'm going back to my maxi bloom and growing monsters again.. Zamnesia Seeds is awesome in this watermelon candy smells absolutely amazing.. GMO (Garlic mushroom onion) was slow to flower but came on strong weeks 8 and 9 to produce some dense heavy sticky buds. The dry weight of the plant material is unsure, but I’ll report the weight of various bubble microns when dry. Pictures of the dry bubble and maybe a melt shot impending! To dry, I decided to microplane into pizza boxes lined with parchment. It’s been fun growing along with everyone on grow diaries. Awesome

Okay so, dried my harvest and it's been curing for the last couple of weeks. Not to my surprise, this was a relatively low yielding harvest (still). The quality of the cannabis is excellent and already has a really smooth finish. However, in the future I would love to add some additional supplements in the flowering stage to boost her chances of being more fruitful. One thing I realized a little too late into flower, was that I should have added a larger quantity of fishbone meal earlier than I had and I believe that in general the plant could have used a P/K booster (which is what I am looking into for my next grows, along with humic acid). The plant filled in nicely but I would have loved for the internodal stacking to be greater and more dense.

Week 16 Day 56F see ya! The ladies are thriving and almost ready for me to unalive them 😆. I think ill let them go another week or two. Earlier this week i pull my garlic budder out of the race due several reason i am not up for writing about. The little cunt gave me problems from jump street.
