#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. Good growth this week, the roots have already reached the pots! The Blackberry Cake seems to develop nicely but it's still smaller than the two others. I topped the plants and started to apply some LST and they responded very well. This is the first time I try to do some LST without bending the main stem, let's see how it goes. I increased the light power to 75%. I moved the fan to be further away from the Blackberry Cake because it seems that it suffered from the wind, the leaves look and feel dry. During watering, only a small quantity of water ran down in the saucer and I poured 2l in each pot. The Blackberry Cake and the Cashew Kush looked a bit droopy, I think I should have watered a bit sooner. Day 22 - Plant is 6 inches tall. Tons of roots sticking down into the water. Checked PPM 215. PAR/PPFD ranges from 200 to 270 at the height of the plant. Day 25 - Plant is 9 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Water dropped a lot. PPM was 100. Added 2 gallons of RO. Added 10 mL of CalMag. Added 10 mL of the 3 base nutes Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of each of the additives. PPM was 515. Day 26 - Plant is 11 inches tall. Fast growth! Short and bushy. Roots are thick as spaghetti noodles and formed a thick rootball. Nearly a dozen budsites. Stem is thicker then a pencil. Day 27 - PPM is 415 in am. Afternoon PPM is 370. Plant is 12 inches tall. PAR/PPFD is 400 to 450 near the top of the plant. DLI is 27 based on 20 hours on and 4 hours off. Late night checked PPM 375. Added 10 mL of Micro Grow and Bloom nutes. PPM is 810. Day 28 - PPM is 775. The plant is getting huge. The stock is about as thick as a Bic lighter. Plant is 13 inches tall.

Amazing plant, very high in thc and some very nice sweet and fruity terps, something like a banana punch strain. The buds are nice and hard and i got 2 outstanding phenotypes with extreme thc production, in general the terps are quite the same on all plants. These girls are very easy to grow and not much of expertise is needed, we just gave some greenhouse biogrow and biobloom together with some sugars and other addictives. In 7 liter pots we got around 35-40g per plant which is quite good. These plants showed good resistance to lollypop and other HST

Flowering day 21 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone 😃. Both phenotypes are developing very well 😊. The buds are starting to develop, so I have now added 2.5 g per liter of GHSC Powder Feeding bio Bloom substrate. This week it was watered twice with 1.1 l per plant each time. I am dropping a northern light seed in a Pro mix HP grow bag. It will be the first time using one. I scuffed the seed ends very lightly. I plaved the seed in the water. I will plant once the seed shows a tap root in 24 to 48 hours. I will likely veg her under the Medic Grow light. You walk into the back yard and it’s a straight face punch of smells. Looking like some indoor rn moved all plants to safer place in case storm hits so now I atleast have a wind break

I had a close call with the Purple Berry Kush. I was setting up another timer and somehow, left them with no rest for 48 hours. I only noticed when the performance spread between two tents emerged. Heat - light was too high- they looked wilted and tired Indica is sensitive to too strong a light right, i saw what looked like the start of nitrogen deficiency, so i popped them into the 20l grow bags. gave them water no nutrient that day. then back in line as normal following day- full nutrient cycle. they,re back now seedlings for the other diary looking strong and healthy. couple pics, nothing exciting, excuse the nutrient splash on the birthday cake :D- hope everyone is well out there.

Harvested on day 113 after ending week 9 of bloom. after washing week ago with adding flora kleen and then after 3 days turn light to 48 hours darkness before harvest. First trim in harvest defoliated big fan leaves with all the leaves without sugar and the tip of the small leaves. When the buds will be dry ill do second trim untill the bud will be like dense diamond. So, really love this strain and i give her a score of 9/10. First, for the buds beauty,dense. purple,red,yellow,pink and blue are showing on buds and its realy amazing.10/10. Smell are very sweet and strong of grapes.9/10. Taste is very fruity sweet grapes and i like it.9/10. Very strong effect on mind but feel very good.9/10. So, for final, 9/10. Day 42, start of flowering week 3: they are growing nicely, had to do a lot of defoliation on each plant, except the one in the 3L pot. Day 43, I started to discover that the roots are coming out aggressively from the bottom of the pot. I did not move the ones in the back, but I guess same thing. The one in the 3L pot doesn't have this problem. Day 45: getting really excited for these guys! I'm trying to keep the temp and humidity low, and I hope I can achieve some of the purple color :P any advice on that? day46: defoliaton
