At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. 10/7/18- LST and preparing for topping # 3 for 8 colas. Everything looking healthy so far 10/10/18- Topped #3- probably should have waited maybe an extra day. Water 1/2 gallon with urb and Aloe water.

Merry Christmas growers!!! Been a very good week, had plenty of time with the ladies. Nothing major to report other than these two LED's aren't enough for this size tent I don't think. Will definitely be upgrading for the next grow! Thursday - fed roughly 1.5L with nutrients. Friday - did nothing. Saturday - fed roughly 1.5L with nutrients. Sunday - did nothing. Monday - fed roughly 1.5L with nutrients. Tuesday - did nothing.

Buds are getting denser, some nitrogen deficiency started on lower leaves, a little mpk burn on big leaves , this monster is ready for harvest but I will give it another week or so coz budds are fattening quickly.

She was taken down 09/02/24 She dried for 9 days at what was hoped to had been around 60/60 but the temperature was between 72 up to 80 at one point, with the average being around 76. This was not ideal, and made drying faster than I had hoped. Nonetheless, seems as though she turned out fine. I was worried about the smell not being ideal etc. Alls good. Phew. I’ve trimmed her up and she’s in jars now to cure. Humidity is sitting at 59. Trimming her was pretty easy.. and I hate to trim. She was much more bud than leaf thankfully. Buds are good sized, dense, sticky, and frosty. As for now, not getting any smells of bananas lol. I guess maybe the cure could change that. Guess we’ll see. Will finish smoke report after some curing/smoking

Tag 70 : Die Triple G ist mein Sorgenkind. Die Gute hat sich ordentlich gestreckt 😱 Die Lampe hängt schon auf Anschlag 😨 Somit ergibt sich ein Lampenabstand von 20cm - 30cm. Ich hoffe das alles gut geht 😬 Die Pflanze hat nur wenig Blüten, aber ist unglaublich durstig, lässt sich aber nur schwerlich gießen. Tag 72: Mit erschrecken musste heute feststellen das ersten Blätter in der Mitte schon gelb werden😱 Es ist mir durch viel bastelarbeit gelungen den Lampenabstand wieder auf 30cm statt wie vorher auf 25cm zu bringen😃 Der Filter jetzt zwar ziemlich dicht an der Decke, aber was solls 😁

#1 ended up finishing far earlier than I expect and I cut it down, now only the two Peach Maraschino remain. One of the phenos has continued to remain slightly less impressive visually however the terps and smell are equally there. I expect another week or two until harvest for Peach Maraschino and have began flushing this week

Week 2 went smooth... Started to see 5-finger leaves showing so I lowered the lights and turned them almost all the way up. Installed a Co2 Dispersal Canister that should finish out veg. Wish I knew the ppm for the Co2 but I don't. Finna start LST this upcoming week

I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. 🌸 Week 25 Update (Early Flower – Pistils Arriving!) This week marks the official start of the show — pistils are popping and both plants are settling beautifully into early flower 🔥🌸.Red Hot Violet is stretching with confidence now. Node spacing is ideal, and those early white pistils are lighting up each site like tiny fireworks 💜✨. Her structure is going to pay off big as she starts stacking.Amaretto Sour is smelling sweeter each day — that lemon-blueberry aroma is getting louder 🍋

Blackberry moonrocks both plants are still some of the best seedling in the tent so far. The better if the 2 is for sure the #1 plant in the tent. It has had the best start of a seedling i have seen in a wile. The leaves are angled like an airplane and they just seem thicker than the average leaf. They both seem like there going to have middium to longer indernode spacing. It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.
