Im going to veg them for 5 weeks. This is How week 2 ended. Looks like the flowers are feeling good. New ones are popping out and they are going heavy. But still i do not expect or want new ones to go out i want them to veg. If they pass out idm. Lets see how week 3 ends. Hello Diary, I'm starting a new round on my little farm, the 18th since I started growing these beautiful plants. There are again three different Autoflowering strains at the Farm: Cherry Pie Auto, Purple Lemonade Auto and one of the legendary strains White Widow Auto. This journal will be dedicated to the Purple Lemonade Automatic. To begin with, I will write a few words about Purple Lemonade Auto itself. Purple Lemonade Auto ranks as one of the strongest autoflowering strains available and offers sweet, fruity, and floral flavors to boot. Not only that, but she races to harvest at lightning speed and delivers ample returns. Breeders from RQS created this variety by starting out with Purple Haze, a legendary sativa-dominant strain known for its euphoric high and sweet and spicy flavor. Then, they added Lemon Skunk to the mix to add an uplifting effect and boatloads of skunky phytochemicals. Finally, Sweet Skunk Auto was selected to contribute speedy growth and more mouth-watering flavors. Purple Lemonade Auto emerged from this triad as a fast and potent indica-dominant hybrid. This time I decided on 11 lit. fabric pots, my dear friends at RQS sent me these nice pots and it's not like this is my first time using them. They are great to handle and prevent me from over watering the plants. For soil, I use BioBizz's Light Mix, mixed with Easy Boost organic nutrition in the form of pellets. I put 50g of pellets on the 11 liter pot. After that I put Seeaweed, 1g/lit and finally Mycorrhiza Mix which I put 5g/lit. After that, I mixed the soil in the pot well and soaked it with water. I put Seed Booster in the water, a new product from the rich range of organic nutrients from RQS. I made a hole in the middle of a few centimeters and put a seed inside. I did the same with the other two strains and after that I put them in the grow box. 20/07/2024 In the morning I sprinkled the surface of the soil with water, not too much, and by the end of the day all three plants had sprouted. 21/07/2024 I watered the plants, I gave each approximately 1 liter of water to which I added Seed Booster again. Before that, I photographed the plants. 23/07/2024 Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. That's all from me for now, I'm looking forward to a new trip as always. See you soon.

I defoliated all her big leaves never done that before…she took it quite well. I fed her some Fox Farm Tiger Bloom on the first sign of flowering so that should increase her flowering abundance…so far so good!

MONDAY: Taking all those cuttings last week seems to have really triggered her auxins, all branches are stretching, even the ones I cut from, but her main is reeeaaalllly stretching.. I think I'm gonna have to either top her or supercrop her. I've got to keep her height down so she isn't too much of a pain to deal with in a tent full of her little clones. this fall. Or maybe I'll just stick her in a closet somewhere and keep about 15 watts on her all winter long, then take some more cuttings to put outdoors? I wish I know for sure how well she smelled/tasted/intoxicated. I'd hate to learn she's a super-plant and not be able to grow her again... WEDNESDAY: I gave her a drink of water with bud candy and calimagic and started foliar feeding with Flower's Kiss. THURSDAY: I checked her clones today...4 have rooted very well and going into 3 gal pots tomorrow. Foliar fed her and told her how beautiful she looks. FRIDAY: I gave her a gallon of grow nutes including Microbe Brew and also started her on Terpinator. I planted 7 of her clones in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots today. They are sharing the 4 x 4 tent with the 6 x White Widow + 1 x Candy Cane seedlings for now. SATURDAY: I planted 7 of her clones today in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots. I added two new blue/cold white LED panels to the 4 x 4 tent. They are kickass. Very low heat and excellent coverage. The 2 lights is overkill for this space, but I like it....a lot. So much so, that I will order 4 of them in 660nm deep red for flowering..two for the 4 x 4 and two for the 5 x 4. I also bought and installed a 16' string of 300 Cold White (7000k)/Warm White (2800k) strip lights(150 each). It has a remote control which lets me change over to warm white for flowering...or have steady cold white and pulse warm white..or whatever. I think that they will serve as excellent low-heat side/corner lighting. Kinda pricey because in addition to the lights, you have to buy a controller and power supply, but they seem very effective. I plan to order another set for the 4 x 4 tent. But, it's a double-row set (600 leds) ..one row of lights is warm white, and the other is RGB adjustable, so I can run 440nm blues for veg and 660nm reds for flower. I plan to keep them just below the canopy so as to illuminate the secondary and tertiary buds as much as possible. Once this concept is proven (and once I save the money), I'll do the same thing in the 4 x 5 tent. Update: Ok, so I've decided I'm only kinda happy with the strip lights.. I've decided to try velcroing 4 of those 4' integrated led tube lights in cold white for veg and warm white for flower to my horizontal poles. The cold white(6500k) are 2-rows of lights that pull 36w and put out 3000 lumens each and the warm white(2700) are single row pulling 24w at 2200 lumens each.

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Hmm these 4AM are a strange bunch lol. I seemed to have been wrong about 4AM#3 getting better in last week's update, after reviewing the pictures. After realizing this I decided to continue feeding the plants till the end albeit only Calmg and Boost(micro). I decided to give 4AM#3 a 125% dose of Calmg on Day 66. I was worried about root rot because even though she was a bigger plant she drank noticeably less water than the rest. I actually forgot to mention I have had a few fungus gnats during the grow starting at around day 35. I always let the plants completely dry out even until some leaves were really drooping from thirst, so I though I had them under control. I never noticed more than 1 or 2 at a time, which is also why I thought I had it out of control. Maybe they have something to do with 4AM#3's state, but I doubt it. Anyway, 4AM#1 and #2 are doing well. #1 has fully ripened with almost 95% cloudy trichomes, and some amber. #2 on the other hand could still use 7-10 days extra, but regretfully I cannot harvest then... #3 is at about the same stage as #2. Day 67-70: Sadly I noticed too late, but that extra strong dose of Calmg seemed to confirm my suspisions... 4AM#3 had a heavy calmg deficiency... It really is noticeably improving this time! Leaves are regaining some slight saturation! And she drank her water very quickly this time! So bummed about having to harvest this weekend... Day 73... Oh well next time I will be able to harvest more freely and at different times for each plant if needed. She still has a good bit of cloudy trichomes on her calyxes though, around 40-60%, and very very few ambers, but her sugar leaves are already full of them. As for 4AM#1, looking great! gona be the smallest buds but definately the most dank! 4#2's massive buds are still having trouble staying upright, but looking forward to those for sure! RED ALERT: Shiiiit... So as I was watering 4AM#3 on day 69, I noticed, what I'm pretty sure is, BUD ROT! Damn, I'll have a picture as part of this update. I had very bad experience with bud rot last fall(planted my autos too late in the summer, lost over half my plants and had to harvest early), but that was with 10C temps and 80%+ RH. I have FOUR fucking fans in this damn tent, and it's always over 20C! But I'll be honest, I knew if it was going to happen, it would be THAT part of the plant positioned closest to that oscillating fan I have on the peace of wood... The bud closest to it(in the corner) is in it's blind spot, doesn't get direct breeze on it. And that's the bud, and the ONLY bud that seems to have been affected. Strangely though, this bud rot feels different to the touch than the one I had last summer. Very dry, and like I said, very isolated to that ONE little part. I cut it out and have the rest of the bud drying as a tester in my room. And my entire room STINKS. I seemed to have been wrong about that last week also; The 4AM smells so much stronger than the White Cracks. See you after the Harvest!! ;) It's been awesome and a fun learning experience!
