Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. As a backup plan, I’m always ready to reintroduce All-in-One Liquid if she starts showing signs of needing more immediate nutrition. The flowers are getting thicker and thicker and are already heavily coated with resin 👌. Plant is growing well. Has weird black dots I think related to PH. I think the switch from whatever they had her on to living soil is just shocking her with the change in PH. I expect a recovery within the next week or so. I noticed an absolute ton of mites in the soil. They had to of come with the clone, does anyone know if these are beneficial? Been 12 days cooking the 3.0 top dress so I threw on two pounds of worms castings and transplanted. I also planted a ton of white Dutch clover seeds around the plant. Time for drying. Btw drying them like this was a bad idea buds are pressed from one side may be conceded to move them, well I still prefer hanging drying 🤪

Really starting too fatten up and even signs of ripening I gave her one week at the beginning of this week and am now just feeding water,

I have finally realised that this experiment is horribly going side ways at the moment, however I wonder if it is due to the Winter season, growing outside or in my makeshift greenhouse, (when I say makeshift I mean, recycled plastic sheets, pallets, etc, I think all that aside, my forth cycle is going to memorable… currently I lack grow lights and fans, luckily I made my greenhouse self ventilate, though I am waiting for August(AwwDust) the windiest time in South Africa, if it remains standing and still self ventilating, I would consider it a victor.) growth would be slower than the warm seasons. To make conditions even harder, I do not have grow lights currently however an obstacle that I’ll correct, going for solar lights and solar fans, electricity tariffs are booming, luckily I use rain water stored in a 1000lt tank, no one is complaining water consumption, I feel like people don’t stress the cost of growing, if you don’t pay the bills and you want to become a grower, look for cheaper methods of growing, like for now… I am going to use the sun as my main light source, will get fans to induce positive stress.
