On the second day of this week, I filled the reservoir again. This time I have an RO filter available to deal with the tap water (EC 0.8mS). I mixed 10l of RO and 10l of tap, which netted a pH of 7 and an EC of just below 0.4. But of course I had to add more CalMag to make up for the filtered calcium. Even after adding all nutrients, the EC was still just shy of 1.5mS which surprised me a little, I was expecting to land closer to 1.7mS, so I am going to increase it a bit next time, probably to around 1.9mS. The plants are in stretch, and they are indeed stretching quite a bit. NYC and SAD are the tallest right now, although the BJ has been catching up a bit recently. They are between around 45cm and 58cm tall, so overall not too much of a difference, which is also good, but I need to keep an eye on it as I would like to keep them below 70cm. I have no plans to put a net in place at the moment, but this depends on the growth of the next week. All of the plants have been showing preflowers around day 7-9 of flower. No signs of pollen sacs so far. Aside from one calcium-deficiency-lookalike type of leaf issue, which I suspect is something else, ther are no issues whatsoever, which makes me happy.

17.04. Day 36 Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management. To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy. The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves. Everything is on track. Just water as they are very small , light is a 100w Samsung led light for the first week then I will switch to the Zeus 465w Compact pro. I have repotted the plants now the seeds have popped, they are in 2 litre pots now. As soon as the toots hot the bottom of the pots I will put them in my autopots system. I have tried adding a layer of perlite on top of the bAc soil. To try and stop any bugs getting into my soil and also reflect the light back.

Start of the grow in a DWC cross Bubbleponics system. Using two clones with the plan to scrog them out and have 5 to 8 strong colas per plant.

Start of week 4 I removed the net because of a heatwave a put the plants in a cold room during the night The coockies are now starting week 3 of flower i gave basic nutes everytime they were dry Day 24: the temperatures are perfect (24 celcius) the buds start to show up on all plants

05/12/21 - PRE FLOWER: The plants have certainly grown in size and most bud sites are showing the beginnings of pistils. - Some leaves have purple spots - This could be phosphorus deficiency. I am feeding a healthy dose of blooming nutrients - so this could be a heat issue as the temp does get below 20 often. I have decided to invest in a heat mat. Had to defoliate some bud sites on some plants as I was an IDIOT and but a blow fan heater close to warm up - so I have lost some bud sights maybe 10% overall - lesson learnt. I hope this hasn't stressed the plants out too much. Lights are at 100% brightness.

I got two different phenos from this run. One green pheno with a more gassy and funky smell, and one purple pheno leaning more toward strawberry diesel. The buds are super compact and absolutely covered in trichomes. Really beautiful flowers. 🔥🤩

13.11.2025 Her smell is already wonderful and when defoliating her my fingers get sticky as glue! Her potency is promissing to be very strong and I'm glad for having chosen this particular genetic. As this is a limited edition, I really should give it a try to match her with the Agent Orange-Male. Maybe just on one or two branches? Let's see what else is coming up to my mind 😅. It's week three of flowering, and the ladies are doing really well. The net has been installed, and the plants have been moved into position. Fishmix has been removed, and Bio Grow fertilizer has been used for the first time. I also defoliated and lollipopped both plants. Small buds are forming, and you can start to smell them a lot. 💚💚💚💚

Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. missed a whole week in this I deliberately didnt post or take any pics in week 7 because I burned my baby( used my cucumber feeding water which is stronger) so bad I was ashamed to show her to the world I did a flush but the damage done to her beautiful leaves is permanent but she still coming buds coming in nice small from the shock of the burn but still healthy plant .

Things are going pretty good the smaller plant that was growing crooked fixed itself and is starting to grow a lot faster. They both just started sprouting hairs and the tent is starting to smell nice. Also I only mixed in 1 tablespoon of grow dots into each 3 gallon pot. My last grow with Tropicana cookies I did 2 tablespoons of grow dots in 3 gallon pots and had tiny yellow tips throughout the grow. 1 tablespoon seems to be doing the trick this time with the poundcake.
