I am a huge citrus fan and I have heard this one is to die for 🤤 This week was good for her! Nothing but water and she slowly fades into harvest. I will update once more before harvest. She is smelling like a HI-C juice box with hints of lemon. Sooooo mouth watering 😱 She veged and is now flowering under the beaslty TSW 2000 from Mars hydro. I dont know how, but the same happened with the grow before this one, but to a Biscotti from a different seed bank. I never seen this before, so i am really surprised to see this happening back to back. I think the plants are overwatered, and because of that probably have light stress and other problems. Also, it can be that i underfeeded them, and that the PH was too high. Tequila Sunrise - Week 7: Slug Attack! But This Señorita's a Fighter ¡Ay caramba! This week with Tequila Sunrise has been a real telenovela, growmies! Just when I thought things were heating up with the flowering fiesta, WHAM! Enter the evil-doers, the nefarious villains... the SLUGS! Seriously, folks, when I saw my little señorita on Friday, I swear I could've cried. Those slimy devils had gone to town, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Leaves munched, flower parts devoured - it was a scene straight out of a horror movie! To add insult to injury, I unearthed a whole gang of the culprits - nine fat, brown slugs of all sizes chilling in the soil. The audacity! But here's the thing: Tequila Sunrise ain't going down without a fight! In a stroke of genius (or maybe just desperation), I decided to elevate her to a plastic chair throne. Apparently, slugs are like nightclub bouncers - they don't like high places (gettit?! ;). And guess what? It worked! The next two nights, not a single slimy visitor dared to approach. Victory, at least for now! Despite the slug buffet, Tequila Sunrise even managed to pull off a respectable 10cm growth spurt this week. This girl's a fighter, that's for sure. Weeds are called weeds for a reason, right? They're tough as nails, and Tequila Sunrise is no exception. So, here's the plan, amigos: let's send some good vibes this señorita's way. With a little luck and some continued anti-slug warfare, she might just bounce back from this brutal attack and still deliver a decent harvest. We believe in you, Tequila Sunrise! Show those slimy suckers what a true party queen is made of! Week 2 - Transplanting Transplanting is the second part of securing a solid foundation for the roots, by using the rock wool cubes I am providing to root ball with a headquarters. I use root excelurator in my feeding and soaking the Rockwool cube so you can expect a very healthy root system and by having a healthy root system you have bigger trees, thicker stems & bigger buds.

Start of week 3 I believe the girls are doing good a few minor worries but that’s at ease for now I think , i have added nutes at a low level and will increase once I see how the plants react to the introduction of the nutes .. Looking into starting lsd on some plants but not too sure wether it’s to early or so . will continue to update the week but for now Started lst on a few plants day 15 and seen good reactions by day 17 so quite happy with that and will continue this process I will also look into topping my plants as well but not just yet ... they seemed to like the nutes as well so all good week so far Soo topping done on 4 plants wasn’t as scary as it sounded haha let’s see how they recover ! Going to combine lst as well now Very good recovery it looks like and the end of week 3 looks promising with the plants happy growing

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. With the new netting up, I switched on the red lights along with the blues to help the plants stretch a bit to reach through the screen. It looks like it is taking effect, so late in the week (Friday) I trimmed some of the lower branches. Last week I FIMmed Zoe and Grace to give River a chance to catch up, and I expected 1 of 2 results: 1) FiMming will encourage growth in the cut plants causing them to grow taler than River, or 2) Things will stabilize and River will be on par with her siblings. But instead, I discovered a 3rd result: River is continuing to grow bigger and thicker each day and is even taller and fuller than her sisters. In addition though, the trimmed plants are developing nice, strong, sizable leaves, and most of the new growth is coming from down below, rather than near the top. Oh, and this week I added a new camera (Wyze) to the time lapses so I can take my pro camera out.

We had a nice jump in height this week; still drinking loads of water every day. One of the plants has this wierd mutated limb that I have been watching progress, kinda interesting. Just chugging along, second week of flower, everything looks to be on schedule so far. 🔮

9/22 topped them at 4th node. some of them are looking better for mainlining that others. some of them i may not mainline and others i left an extra node in case i want to keep clones around. #1 is looking happy with the topping and looks really good. #2 is the only one thats been praying and is the tallest and strongest looking all around. #5 short and such tight internodal spacing that it makes it hard to see whats all there. just looks like a bunch of small leaves until they grow out. i may not mainline this one either be cause of it being so tightly packed it may make it 9/27/24 day 20 theyre growing quite well. #1 i ended up taking the bottom nodes. i was originally goi g to use them as clones later on but decided to just let her go with her 4 nodes. #5 is so tightly packed, she has like 8 mains all in such a small space, its hard to even make sense of it all.

Week 13, Harvest time is soon! I was able to give the plant some waterings of KoolBloom and the flushing process has began! I ran some ClearEx in the flushing process with 6.0ph water. This grow has been a great experience and I am excited to see what she looks like once I wet trim her :) I am going to cut down soon and have an update with pics and etc. It appears the buds did grower denser from the last past week or so. I am glad I pushed the harvest time back, it allowed the buds to pack on a bit more weight it appears. Let me know if you have any questions/ concerns/ comments. Happy growing Growmies!

Day 7 Le piante sono nate e tutte e stanno bene. Aggiunto un po' di terra diatomacea vicino al tronco perché ho notato che gli insetti che ho sempre nel box (tripidi) salgono proprio da questo punto e la situazione sembra migliorare. Ogni 10gg per tutta la fase vegetativa userò Zeolite (5gr x litro) per via fogliare. Si macchie ranno un po' le foglie ma questo creerà una patina su di esse così da proteggerle da stress di calore e sbalzi termici. Protegge da malattie fungine (peronospora e botrite) e preserva le superfici da attacchi di patogeni, muffe saprofitarie e batteri. A settimana prossima 😊

Vamos familia primera semana de floración de estás Punch Pie de RoyalQueenSeeds . Que ganas tengo de ver el progreso de esta variedad, las plantas están sanas, se ven con buen color. La cantidad de agua cada 48h entre riegos, nutrientes de la gama Agrobeta. Ya puedo decir que acabé con la plaga, haré alguna rociada más de jabón potásico y aceite de Belen para prevenir más apariciones de plagas pero si ya 100% se eliminó. Esperaremos que no me suba mucho la temperatura , por el momento se mantiene entre 25-26 así que lujo. A una de ellas la pasaré solo en un indoor y le haré un trasplante. Aquí dejo ya en las fotos como está. Estas próximas semanas veremos cómo avanzan.
