Skywalker OGs continues to live up to the name. What started as a compact, promising plants has now turned into one of those runs that quietly earns respect week after week. Dense flowers, heavy frost, strong stacking, and far more weight than expected from her frame. She never needed to be the tallest plant in the room to become one of the most impressive. She simply did what great plants do — stayed consistent, stayed efficient, and let quality build over time. This is what happens when stable genetics meet a stable room. 12/12 from seed. Controlled environment. Steady feedings. Minimal stress. No chasing. No overcorrection. Just rhythm, patience, and letting the plant do what it was built to do. And now we’re entering the final phase. The plant has done the work. From here forward, the goal is not to push harder. The goal is to finish cleaner. That means no more nutritional feeding from this point on. From here until harvest, she receives only water and enzymes. Not because she is lacking. Because she is done building. At this stage, continuing to push nutrients often does more harm than good. Nitrogen is no longer needed in quantity, phosphorus demand slows, and excess minerals in late flower rarely translate into better flowers. More often, they delay senescence, slow the natural finish, and leave the plant focused on processing surplus instead of completing ripening. By removing nutrients now, we stop asking the plant to keep producing and allow it to begin finishing. That shift matters. This is where the plant starts relying on what it has already stored. Mobile nutrients begin moving. Fan leaves begin fading. Internal reserves begin being used. The plant starts consuming itself exactly the way it was designed to at the end of its cycle. That fade is not a problem to correct. It is the signal that the plant has entered the final metabolic stage. And this is exactly where enzymes become useful. From here on, Pure Zym stays in the water for one reason: cleanup. No more feeding the plant directly. Now we feed the medium. Enzymes help break down dead root material, leftover organic residue, and unused matter in the substrate. That keeps the rhizosphere cleaner, keeps the medium biologically active, and helps the plant access what is still available in a softer, more natural way without adding fresh nutritional load. At this point, enzymes are less about “feeding” and more about support. They help the medium stay functional. They help the root zone stay clean. They help the plant finish without unnecessary buildup. Simple in practice, but very useful in late flower. The same logic applies above the canopy. We are also beginning to reduce light intensity slightly for the final stretch. Not dramatically. Not enough to stall development. Just enough to begin easing the plant into the end of its cycle. Less demand. Less stress. Less need to force photosynthetic output when the plant is no longer focused on expansion. This is less about reducing production and more about reducing pressure. In nature, the final weeks do not arrive with increasing intensity. They arrive softer. Shorter days. Lower energy. A slower rhythm. So we mirror that where we can. Slightly lower PPFD. Slightly less metabolic pressure. A gentler finish. The goal now is not to make her grow more. The goal is to help her mature better. That includes the visual changes now beginning to show. Fading is starting. Still early. Still light. Nothing dramatic yet. But it is coming. And that is exactly what we want to see. The green will slowly begin to recede. Stored nutrients will continue to move. Colors will shift. Uptake will slow. Water demand will eventually begin to drop. And the plant will tell us, clearly, when it is ready. Right now they are still drinking well — around 1.4L per day — which tells us they are still actively working, still metabolically engaged, and not yet at the true end. That number should begin tapering in the coming weeks. When it does, the plant is telling us the finish line is close. Until then, we watch. We do not force. We do not rush. We let the plant speak first. Room conditions remain largely unchanged because they have worked, and there is no reason to reinvent what already functions. 26°C day 18°C night 60% RH ~21°C solution ~22°C substrate Strong airflow ~1000 ppm CO₂ Stable, predictable, repeatable. That consistency is part of why this run has gone the way it has. The only real changes now are in the feed itself. EC is down to nearly nothing. TDS sits around 0.2. Only enzymes in solution. And pH is no longer being adjusted. At this stage, with no real nutrient load in the mix, there is very little to correct. The water blend — rainwater and dehumidifier water — lands naturally around 6.8–7.0, and in this final phase that is more than acceptable for what we are asking the plant to do. We are no longer trying to optimize aggressive nutrient uptake. We are simply maintaining hydration, root function, and a clean finish. Different phase. Different goal. Different logic. And she smells exactly like she looks. Strong. Loud. Room-filling. The kind of plant that announces itself before you even touch it. She has entered that stage now — where aroma stops being a trait and starts becoming presence. And honestly, Skywalker OG has been one of the most pleasant surprises of the run. Not because she demanded attention. Because she earned it. Quietly. Consistently. Without drama. Without excess. Just dense, frosted, honest flowers built week after week under stable conditions. Exactly the kind of plants that reminds you why simplicity still wins. Big thanks to Zamnesia for the genetics. Plagron for keeping the medium and inputs consistent. And GrowDiaries for giving growers a place to document the process properly. And to everyone following along — old names, new names, quiet supporters, loud supporters, long-time growers, first-time growers, lovers, lurkers, doubters and believers alike — respect. There’s room for everyone here. See you in the next week. New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

VT Before and the VT After They look similar to a "Bonsai type of training" Here is a ..''paradox'' for ya: A man fell seriously ill with a deadly skin infection and, after recovering, asked his neighbor, "Why didn’t you send me a 'Get Well Soon' card during my treatments and recovery? The only 'Get Well Soon' cards I received were from people who knew it was a terminal illness, not from any Class A drugs i was on for treatment and pain. So why didn't you give me a card?" If the neighbor responds, "I thought you were on drugs and looked unwell because of that," it undermines the man’s entire treatment and recovery process, which was evident through his efforts and progress. This response would suggest that the neighbor is inadvertently equating terminally ill patients with drug addicts—an assumption that stigmatizes the illness. The paradox lies in the phrase, "I only received 'Get Well Soon' cards from those who knew the truth." By answering this question, the neighbor is stuck in a loop, as any response would place them in a paradoxical situation. //////////////////////////////////////////////// Girl ya' so' Tropical; because i am the cherry to your coconuts' 18/03/2024 MIDDAY: Removed domes and sprayed 0.5% HP! 19/03/2024 Lights On! Nine weeks since the switch and the Runtz have had 7 weeks of actual flowering. I've noticed more trichomes were produced, wich I checked and most of them were still clear, maybe 10-20% was getting milky and very few were amber. I want to see way more amber before harvest, so +/- 70 days of 12/12 will be needed. This week was the last time I gave them nutrients. That was on the first day. The rest of the week I gave them ph adjusted tapwater every other day. (ec 0.5 – ph 6.24) Next week I'll start flushing with ec levels of 0.3 For that I will use a mix of tap water and demineralized water. 3 liters(0.8 gallon) tapwater and 2 liters (0.5 gallon) of demineralized water gives a 0.3 ec level. The distance between the cobs and the plants got a bit higher, from 48cm(19inch) to 55cm (21.5 inch) and the power of the cobs was reduced to 300watt. Autumn is here...🍂🍁 Temperatures stayed between 18,4 – 23,9 °C (65 – 75 °F) and humidity levels between 34 – 50 % One week of ripening & flushing and then it will be time to harvest. To be continued... ✋ Do you want to grow this strain? 👉 https://www.zamnesia.com/6000-zamnesia-seeds-runtz-feminized.html 👈

Week 7 for the strawberry gorilla from fastbuds 420!!! We gave the last week of xpert nutrients feeding and will continue now with only water, harvest time is soon and at the moment the buds are looking great, nice smell in the tent and the buds are nice and covered in trichomes! The plants are not that big but of course i have quite some plants together in the tent and 7 liter pots so they stayed a little smaller, next time i will do maybe less plants but with the bigger 420 fastbuds airpots!

Started a little training, cut down the older fan leaves and topped up. I’m adding a tiny bit of root stimulator cause changed the pot size last week so it will to promote a faster growth. Gotta keep this lady low cause the box is quite small. So excited 😆

I had to top Cantaloupe haze and White widow as they were too close to the lights and I didn't want to loose any ppfd on my lowers. My GSC seems perfect for not topping. next time I would top those strains at least once. I have been flushing the CH and getting run off around 1200ppm which seems like the max she can take the others like it stronger so I have been flushing them every 2-3 days. CH is tough to keep happy but will continue to monitor. All plants are in week 4 of flower 12/12 from seed.

What a gorgeous strain. Full of purple hue and terps for days with the petroleum, gas, sweet grape. We will see how it changes after a long cure. Chopped her on the 11th week of flower at about 15% amber. Has a pretty heady Stoney high, euphoria, body buzz. Not a couchlock but definitely sedated but functional.

Since you’re all familiar with Wedding Cake feminised marijuana seeds, we’ve put a Break-up Cake in the oven at the Kannabia Seed Company – because things don’t always go well, and we sometimes need a friendly seed to lean on. Break-Up Cake has a base of Girl Scout Cookies, one of North America’s best-known strains, which is earthy with a very potent indica effect. And we top it off with a delicious Cherry Pie which, in addition to giving it an elegant dark attire, adds a silky, deeply sweet flavour of cherries and berries. Look no further – it’s the perfect cake. This seed will be celebrated for its ease of cultivation and abundant production. It’s one of the best investments you’ll make this year. But if it’s going to be memorable for one thing, it’s for its sweet complex flavour that’s full of contrasts. If we have to break up, let’s do it sweetly and amicably, right? How to: Break-Up Cake Break-Up Cake is an “all-terrain” marijuana seed, which will adapt to the place you allocate to it. An ode to independence, it’s a plant with only the most basic needs that knows how to grow by itself. It’s a pale branching plant with tremendous dark green leaves, purple tips, and an icing sugar coating of trichomes. Its immense buds are some of the stickiest ones we’ve found in our seed bank recently. Indoors, it needs 60 days of flowering to give no less than 600 grams per square metre. Use a Screen of Green method without hesitation, or plant it using hydroponics if you want to obtain the full benefit of its potency. Outdoors, it reaches two metres in height with a harvest of 800 grams per plant, which is reason enough to give it a go. Like a good break-up cake, this plant doesn’t need to live with a partner, and knows how to live well in a Guerrilla plot. Between 25th and 10th October is its moment. Taste and effect of Break-up Cake Very relaxing but not causing lethargy, it’s a good indica-dominant plant. Its effect is mellow (we’re too old for childish games). It calms the consumer but it also gives rise to creative moments. Head on up to the top floor, later to make your way, little by little, down to the kitchen later (where you might want to give in to temptation if you need to stimulate your hunger). The flavour is full of nuances. It will remind you of a vanilla sponge or cheese cake: you’ll notice a cherry topping, something sweet that you can’t quite distinguish, and an earthy undertone on a biscuit base… You’ve got to sample it to know it. _____________________________________________________________________ SETUP: 80x80x180 cm Zelsius 240W Full Spectrum LED IR UV dimmable DW240H-A6-HS Heatsink color red LED Chips: 512pcs SAMSUNG LM301H + 24pcs Osram 660nm + 8pcs Osram IR 730nm + 8pcs UV 385nm Color mix: 2700K + 4000K 2,8umol/J Driver HLG-240H-C2100B Coverage: veg 5x3ft / flower 4x2ft Product size: 628x205x68mm Green Buzz Nutrients Shouts go out to my sponsors @GreenBuzzNutrients, thanks so much for your support! 💚 💚 💚 If anyone would like to try their amazing organic products, use code GD42025 for generous 25% discount (for orders of minimum 75€) ✨ https://greenbuzznutrients.com/ Biobizz Lightmix custom exhaust fan 320/270cm³/h Carbon Active Granulate 240cm³/h tab water pH 8 - EC 0,25 with Calmag to 0,5 Advanced Hydroponics pH minus Grow + Bloom to pH 6.2 🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀

D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the start of the third week for #1. I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress! D29 - Today, it was finally time to top the second girl. She was already seven nodes tall, around 30 cm. First, I got everything together as I prefer to have what I need before starting instead of running around looking for something mid-process: Snips, a couple of glasses with water to put cuttings in, bonsai wire and soil staples, clone-gel and a new razor blade, dwc cloner, peppermint oil and Q-tip. After cleaning the snips thoroughly with alcohol, I topped her just above her fourth node. I'm going to mainline her, so I removed everything below the fourth as well. She went from a lush lady to a stick figure! I secured her remaining two branches using staples and wire. The final touch in the tent was to put some peppermint oil on a Q-tip. Bugs and pests are attracted to the scent of injured plants. On the other hand, they hate the smell of peppermint oil, and it should deter the critters even though the girl smells like a buffet. I bought this tiny DWC system for a few bucks off Amazon a while back and want to try it as a cloner. (The primary purpose of this cloning project is to practice taking clones, plus see how well this hydro system works.) I trimmed each cutting before lightly scraping the stalk, making a fresh cut with the razor blade, and finally into a net-pot. I had planned to put some clone-gel into the water, but it turned out that the bottle had gone bad since last time. Oh well, pure water for this test run then. Finally, I cut up all the removed leaves and stalks into small pieces and distributed them on top of the soil in the pot. Have to keep that nutrition cycle going. Plus, like this, I don't have to worry about safely disposing those telltale leaves. Win-win in my book. D34 - The final day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the end of the third week for #1. #2 has recovered great after her first topping, and I'm planning on doing her second topping tomorrow, six days after the first. #1 is a week behind so I'm planning on topping her in a couple of days as I want to make sure that her fourth node is at the same height as the fourth node on the second girl. The clones are looking really healthy but no roots yet but maybe that is to be expected considering that I'm using no rooting hormones.
