Flowering has begun 😁😁 8 days have passed since the flip and bud sites are starting to form. The week went fairly smooth with the exception of a smart plug failure 😡😡 not sure what the issue was as its working fine again and wifi was on and working fine but oh well, the plants got 6 extra hours of light one day but i gave 6 less the next and got the light sched back to normal asap. The girls look very healthy and I am extremely excited to start seeing some buds form and that famous pineapple smell. The RO system is doing its job getting the city water down from 198ish ppm to only 9. This solved the 2 issues and I am very happy I dont have to deal with the white dust EVERY WHERE, including outside the tent. I highly recommend this system. I tucked right up until yesterday which I thought I was done with the tucking but I felt they needed a little more. The center is pretty much maxed and growing to much to spread out the edges any more really. should have spaced out a little more from the center. The net is pretty close to full and some branches are on the outside. pleased overall but would like to improve on round 2 of course. Thanks for following along fam.

Shots of the girls on the end of week 6. Had problems with one of them the leaves were crisp and brown spots showing so i flushed the root zone and add a lighter nutrient mix to the coco. In the video you can see quite well how much work the defoliation of Mrs. Jealousy has been. I had to graze so many nodes and internodes, really gigantic, these genetics. We'll see how it goes. Since Lady Jealousy is still withering a bit, I keep the humidity just about at the reasonable limit of tolerability for both fully flowering Sweet Seeds ladies. I think temperature and humidity is a good but necessary compromise here. Different strains require different conditions. Especially when growth is so different. I also find the tribes of the three protagonists interesting... In my opinion, it tells us a lot about the selection of phenotypes in breeding. So my dears, the day takes its toll. Time to sleep. Had to spray some medicine again as there was a few bite marks from spidermites. May not get rid of em but can keep them at a lower number until harvest otherwise I would love to get rid of em but don't know the likelihood of that happening. Currently in the tent at 12/12 light schedule and have the lights running at night so cold of the night doesn't stunt any growth.

-27.06.2024 The first week of the vegetative phase begins today. The little plants look quite good. The light is still 100 cm above the plants and is running at 30% (5% more than last week). The values measured with the Photone app are ppfd = 240-270 and DLi = 15.5 - 17.5. The temperature is 22.9 degrees and the humidity is 65%. -28.06.2024 The plants were watered properly for the first time today. About 500ml per plant. A little bit of mycorrhiza was added to the water.. -29.06.2024 Visual inspection, everything looks good. I put sticks in the soil as a precaution to give the plants some support. -30.06.2024 Today the soil felt quite dry so the plants got about 200ml of water (per plant). I also increased the light intensity slightly. Measured values with the Photone app: Ppfd = 300-320 DLi = 22.5-23.6 . -01.07.2024 Just a visual check, everything looks good so far -02.07.2024 visual check, the soil was dry again so each plant got 200ml of water. The distance to the lamp was reduced by 20cm and it now hangs 80cm above the plants. Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Kong was an absolute trooper I have to cut her a few weeks early due to budworm causing bud rot. I will be trimming her down washing after removing infected areas. I hope i can save some of the fruits. After 6 hours i have 750g of flower washed and drying. Any buds that where on the same stem as the bud rot have been placed at the bottom of the drying wrack just in case the peroxide doesn’t work

Getting close to finishing! Maybe start flushing Friday when it turns 7 days and aim for a 7 day flush!

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Hello Diary, Milky Way F1 is truly beautiful, in full bloom and covered in flowers that fill in nicely. It progresses quite quickly considering the fourth week of flowering, the smell is more and more intense. Milky Way F1, like its roommates, reached its maximum height this week, there is no change since the last measurement. Watering has become a little more frequent, I have to water every three days because they drink a lot of water. I continued this week with the addition of nutrients, bio flowering booster and easy bloom tablets. The conditions inside the grow box are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees and the humidity is around 45%. Here's a quick recap of the week. 12/06/2023 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, added all three components from the bio flowering booster, lowered the pH. at 6.0 and with that amount I watered all three plants evenly. 15/06/2023 - Day 47. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water again, inserted one easy bloom tablet, lowered the pH. and again with that amount I watered all three plants on the farm. 17/06/2023 - Day 49. Day 15 and they were watered 2 days ago. They all got around 3 - 4 liters of water and they are drinking alot now. The lemon tree is the winner so far. The permanent jealousy auto is ahead in flower. The slurrups clones from in house genetics are starting to flower as well in their 6 liter pots. I just make them for fun. Was hoping for a male plant. Still early flower. So far so good Day 17 the orange sherbert is slow to transition into flower. I have tied it down further to expose the lower buds while allowing it to stretch fully
