Tag 53: Noch eine Woche Düngen, dann wollte ich anfangen zu Spülen.

Girls are loving the light! I was bit worried with the smaller gal and leaves pointing up, but with no sign of light-stress or anything else negative I've taken it as a good sign and they are just thriving so yesssss! I'm prone to want to defoliate as I'm use to growing in a much smaller environment (5 gal bucket lol) but I've been good and have only snipped a handful of leaves that were either blocking other bud-sites or restricting airflow. I cannot wait to see what this harvest brings in, I'm hoping for 3-3.5 oz (85-99grams). Now that they are flowering nicely I'm no longer using Gro, just Micro+Bloom with some calmag and silicate. Day 29. I adjust the LST to form the canopy. pH at 5.8 Day 30. It's not necessary to adjust anything, just a little the main stem. pH at 5.7. Growing well :D Day 32. I change the water in the tank, I go from the vegetative table to the flowering stage, keeping the same Ec pH to 5.9. I make some small adjustments to the LST and remove a few fan leaves. Day 35. Growth is pretty good. The pH drops about 0.5 by day, the plant drinks about 1 liter a day, (I think this is due to the decrease in pH). First defoliation. In general, the week has been good. Now I have to deal with the daily pH drops I think caused by the water intake of the plant. Possibly one more week of stretching remains, Auto Mandarina is 70% sativa 30% indica, so an Indica dominance would be better for my set up.

I dropped 2 of the 3 seeds I got in a glass of 6.4ph balanced purified water for 15hours and transferred to paper towel. Full reversal was documented in this journal. The receiver(mother) was grown in soil using the HWGrow Soil Feed Schedule and the donor(father) was fed the HWGrow Hydro Feed Schedule. Actual data collected from the grows contributed to the final numbers in our feed schedules. The complete harvest on the seeds were documented on my journal on discord which could guide you if you grow this cross. Goal of the Cross: The photo with the buds shows what the final buds harvested from both parents look like after drying and curing(Sweet Slurry on left, Sugar Cane on right). This cross will produce a combination of both of the parents. Sweet Slurry is actually a backcross of Slurricane and Sugar Cane so this would be a 2nd generation Backcross which has the potential to improve frost. It's a crap shoot, but you could get lucky and it could happen. This will ultimately stabilize this cross into a strain and you really cant go wrong with frosty x frosty. This cross is the reverse of SHUGA.

Day 54 update. Gonna give her about another week maybe to let her ripen before I chop but it’s getting close! Buds look and smell fantastic. Leaves are taking a beating from something or another.

Day 50 - EC 1016, PH 6.3 Added PH down. Created a grow video and did a bunch of defoliation. Removed all of the lower bud sites. Day 51 - EC 1025, PH 5.78. Brewed a 7L batch with 3ml Gro, 2ml Micro and 1ml of Bloom( EC 543 ) PH down to 5.8 added 4L to the reservoir. Noticed the top leaves are getting a bit of yellowing in between the veins, I think its light burn. Day 52 - EC 0852, PH 5.73. Thinking of letting her heal up a bit more then I am going to try to supercrop her. Day 53 - EC 0795, PH 4.68. Added PH up and the rest of the brewed batch from day 51. Day 54 - EC 0783, PH 6.15. Day 55 - EC 0816, PH 5.77. added PH up Day 56 - EC 0987, PH 5.09. Brewed a 6L batch with 2ml Gro, 2ml Micro 2ml Bloom( EC 531 ) Added a bit of PH down to bring it to 6.8. Added 3L to the reservoir then began Supercropping every one of her nodes. Went a little crazy, lol. But cut her height a lot . Didn't tie anything down so were gonna see how she recovers. After that the readings were EC 0955, PH 5.98 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now this was a big week. First I had a little bit of fun and entered the holiday video contest. Decided to do it with the counter saying 1 day left and uploaded it at 4:am in fear I would not get anything entered. Later to find out after the "Days left" counter it shows hours so I could of gotten better video. Still had a lot of fun doing it. Also did a defoliation while recording the video so the start has it pre-defoliation and the end you see everything I cut out. I don't think she liked what I did because the days after she started showing yellowing, PH kept on dropping dramatically. So what did I do. I bent every single side shoot of growth!!.Supercroped. Hope she heals well.

Hey everyone 🤗. This week was harvested properly 😍. All of them are harvested, except for the two Tropicanna Banana (they will be on tomorrow). All finished crop images follow little by little as soon as they have dried enough and have got their actual bud structure 😃. I wish you much fun with the diary, stay healthy Ges and let it grow 🌱

Day 60 flower on the two most developed. Should be right about done by now, but as you can see nute burn has been a pain lately. Anxious to find out how much longer they'll need to mature. Buds on the smallest one with the fattest flowers look thick, but they are waay too fluffy compared to the other equally developed plant. I have only fed twice the last 10 days, to try to combat the nute problem. Thinking I should go down from half dose to 1/3 the rest of flowering, with a bit more normal feeding frequency, to avoid starving them in these last couple/few weeks. Second video is of a small bud I cut off low on the smallest plant. Not mature at all, but it still blew me away. The high was wonderfully balanced. Most of all the taste, was incredible. Even after I dried it for 6 hours on my heating radiator on top of cardboard. Makes me think of how insane it will be when matured, dried and cured like it is supposed to. Just hoping it will fatten up a bit, at least the pistils are starting to come along.

She is doing very well. She even grew a bit, probably the buds. They are still growing, even so the growth decreased. The trichomes started to develop rapidly and she gets frosty. I would say again she might need two weeks.😏
