Hello Diary. We came to the last week of vegetation, and we enter slowly into flowering. Watermelon has grown 36 cm and looks healthy and satisfied. This week I added a lot of nutrients when watering, I will see how they will react to that. Her roommates, two Purple Punch outgrew her in height so I had to adjust the lights a bit to everyone at “Farm”. The lights are dimmed at 80% The temperature in the growbox is around 25 degrees, which is ideal for me but the humidity is a bit lower than I would have liked. I'm thinking of putting on a humidifier again. The plants started to be more thirsty so now watering is more frequent as well. Let’s take a look at the review of the week. 10/02/2021 - Day 15. Watering. p.H I adjusted to 6.3 with Lemon Kick and added one Easy Grow tablet to 6 liters of water. With that, I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 40% humidity. 13/02/2021 - Day 18. Watering.p.H I regulated to 6.4 and did not add any other nutrients. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.3 degrees and 40% humidity. 16/02/2021 - Day 21. Photographing and watering. This time I added CalMg, 1.5ml / L preventively and from BoiBizz I added Bio Heaven, Bio Grow, Acti Vera and Alg-A-Mix only 2ml / L each. p.H I regulated at 6.4. Happy to see the plants taking off. Watering has not been an issue with the hot weather. Give them as much as they will take every 2-3 days. Gave them kelp meal (1tsp/gallon of soil) and some worm castings this week--about a handful worm castings per pot--dry amendments are very gentle and forgiving in soil. Fems: Both identified growing solo in 30 gallon fabric pots. Not pulling the 1st female much. I did gently set her under a small tomato cage slightly. 2nd female is growing regular--no pull--no pinch--nada!--just straight up. Males--As far as the male count--currently 6 males have been removed from the grow area.

Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. I don’t know if it’s the rapid stack pots combined with the rain science grow bags, or the green planet nutrients but these autoflowers are huge at 54” tall. The largest I’ve ever grown indoors. I’ve always wanted to grow a purple pheno and now that moment has come. These autos are going to be show stoppers!!! I’ve very excited to share with you all.

Almost there. Took a look at her close up and most trichomes are cloudy. Added Overdrive this week to start that finishing process. Each branch has a really nice sized cola on top. Powdery mildew is practically dead in its tracks thankfully, meaning its not spreading. A bit pops up here and there, a quick but precisely guided spray with Safers Brand 3-1 and we are good. You can see it in the overshot on some leaves. This was before treatment. As far as the nitrogen toxicity, ive cut out the ph perfect line for her, minus 1ml of micro...i may even cut that. Notice how dark and thick the leaves are. I have a feeling that if I cut all nutrients now she would finish fine. Tell me what you think!

So the first week of a 12 on 12 light schedule is behind us. As you can see she started to elongate very well, most of the branches grew out to the same hight without any LST or HST training. The Bilberry Lamp is showing it's quality. You can see that both the spectrum and the power work great for the plant. Nothing special happened this week. She showed her first "hairs". Fed her twice each time with the mentioned dosages from the BAC Organic line. I try to keep na 9 degrees Celsius difference between night and day. Just trying to keep her happy and hope that all goes well.

Our Ghost Train Haze Automatic by Zamnesia started off very well, they had a good sprint since I added Alga grow and they had the chance to start metabolizing the powerful additives from Plagron. We quickly got to the first topping, as with all the others I decided to make a plant with the techniques and a tip. I'm not completely ready to give up the main cola. Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens when you apply the topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants start flowering at about the 5th intenodo, you need to anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. In general, when you see that there are two good side branches, you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very nice results, especially in warm periods when the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure. So I cleaned everything and cut at the top leaving only the main growth line, called Main Lining, the florets will be lowered during growth and the plant will eventually be like "split" in the main line with the various branches. On photoperiodic plants, however, we will do topping repeatedly, which is not recommended with autoflowering plants so as not to lengthen the times of plants born to finish in 10 weeks.
