This week has yielded positive results from the FIM And LST. I topped the internodal new branching that grew from the FIM job as well this week and the 2 extra tops are growing in response on each branching. She is now under a 4 bulb vivosun T5 6500K fixture and is responding very well to the light changes. Her stems are begging to give off terpines when rubbed. She smells of tart sweet lemons and diesel fuel haha. I am very happy about this grow and am expecting preflower to begin soon.

What a great run, Very resistant plant I left the light on 3 times for 24 hours on three separate occasions and it did not herm. Very funky and almost like a pine and menthol taste to it..definitely worth growing again. Got some huge, dense nugs !!!

Week 7 Day 42 our VPD is getting higher day to day, we in the 1.2 - 1.4 range hard week of defoliation this past week and its not over Day49 we had good development but we still fighting environmental conditions all over the place We need environment concistency and we're not getting it 💚

Plants are ready to harvest 😍

This was my best hield so far. Last year got the same in 5 plants, now I made it with just 4. Not having to grow during the heat of July and august helped the plants a lot, as my tent catches some sun during the mornings. The smell is amazing, a tropical flavour with a lot of crystals. I gave them a 48h dark period for them to realize their cycle was coming to the end. For sure I will try to improve next time with the same seeds but with another set of nutrients. Week#7 Day#44 Update: shes looking nice and bushy from the ponytailing. I gave her a half a gallon of water and she drank it right up . I gave it to her day 42 I believe I noticed her leaves droopy. I still have not topped her yet there’s atleast 13 main arms needing to be pinched out currently. I’m still riding the fence with whether I’ll top dress feed her and keep her in this pot for one more month or will I transplant her up and boost the feed proportionately with the increased pot size . Week#7 Day#45 update since I can’t seem to stop riding the fence on the methods I want to use to grow this plant I decided I atleast needed to do a heavy defoliation to expose those growth sites to encourage more branching . I could continue with ponytailing & defoliation for a while I just keep kicking the can around on whether topping will make this healthy vigorous growing plant better . It’s already doing everything I could ever want in terms of lateral growth . Could it stand to be a bit more vigorous on the upwards growth ? Sure , however I’ve still got 3 ladies maturing up in this tent that I need to move out so I’m sort of happy shes not requiring a lot of leg room know what I mean ? I think as the fan leaves grow out I’ll pony tail up each top again . Week#7 Day#46 No changes Week#7 Day#47: started pony tailing her tops as the fan leaves get large enough to pin up I’ll cover as many as possible to let those lower growths get growing . Week#7 Day#48: still pony tailing tops 😁 we’ll make her into a Week#7 Day#49: those new fan leaves neeed to be pony tailed but are also incredibly yellow . I wanted to try putting the dry amendment at the bottom of my planter but for the sake of time I won’t experiment & have wasted a 2 weeks considering I knew last week she “ should be getting hungry “ & it’ll take 1 week of top watering before these dry amendments are available to the plant so she may stay e looking deficient. I gave her 2 heaping tablespoons & watered her in with 1/2 gallon of ph’d water with (organic)cal mag .

Week 2

Had some severe drooping on one side of the plant. It was kind of weird, but most likely nothing. I was under watering quite a bit in an attempt to make sure I didn’t flush out the benes and nutrients of the super soil. Ironically, I might have killed all the benes. Lol. Either way, they’re getting about 2.5 gal every other day now. Growing strong. Untied the LST ties to move them and rearrange the greenhouse. Going to leave them untied. I hate having to water around the ties 😭 Just did another spinosad treatment. Haven’t seen any more thrips since the first treatment 10 or so days ago. Saw a leaf hopper in there though 😡

D1. Three of them make it to 2cm in three days, the fourth one already rooted but taking it easy, I watered them a bit and covered the lazy one to blackout and see if she can do it 💪 Lighting at 8.5 DLI (100 PPFD@24h) with the lamp dimmed at 57cm from the soil. D2. The lazy seed still struggling to sprout but seems she's so close to make it since she's already out the soil. The three strong ones already grew to 4 cm in 24 hours, +2 cm, a growing rate of 0,83mm per hour. Following the seedling schedule lighting now will be at 12 DLI the whole first week. D3. The seedlings are growing strong except the little lazy one, I had to help her sprouting this morning using tweezers since both leaves were trapped inside the seed not being able to open by itself, unlike the other ones that did it by themselves three days ago. Will she gonna make it? Let's give her time 💪 D5. The red worms look very active but the leaf tips are curling up so I moved from 24h lighting to 20h and let em rest a bit keeping 12 DLI and 80% humidity while lowering temp at night from 25°C to 23°C. The lazy seedling still so small and definitely don't match their sisters growth rate, let's see if there is any progress next days. Also I already installed the Blumat, the parcel arrived missing the final drippers and the 3mm tube but they already send it. I adjusted the system following Michael Box top tip on this Growcast podcast, https://youtu.be/g5YFcxW3kXI?si=tkm6F1fF65CaNruq It consist on adjust the holding drip at atmospheric pressure without the ceramic cone/tube part, then from there screwed the regulator one more carrot (on gravity systems), mark it and put on the locking cap, this way it should provide 80mbar of water tension so there is no need to keep readjusting and you can leave it that way between runs. I use the Tropf max version expecting to keep the bottom of the 25L pots not so moist since 8 days later of the only watering done the moisture is still at 56mbar, looks like it will take some time to start dripping on. Meanwhile I'll keep an eye on the top moisture and if needed just hand water few mililiters a couple inches from the stems. D7. Today I received the missing parts from Blumat and this is the last day of the first week! I think they are looking good despite the little curled up tips from fifth day at 24h but lighting schedule is already changed down to 20h since fifth day midnight. Now they are 6 cm tall and look like they want to start vegging, tomorrow I'll start to daily increase DLI progressively until achieve 16 DLI by the end of the week. The lazy one seems to be doing it, very lazy but growing a little bit every day 💪

So i apparently lost a buncha the pictures from this. :/ Fatso is probably my favorite plant so far. Very pretty and also very forgiving. Probably the most pictures I’ve ever taken of a plant before.. which makes it extra sucky that I’ve lost most of the ending pictures. She made nice buds even though she was starving to death for a couple weeks from lockout. It took me that losing to get it sorted. Her buds would have probably been even bigger than they were.. jeez. Anyhow, after drying and curing a little bit - good goood smoke and high. If you’re not a heavy/long time smoker.. I’d suggest not doing anything that needs real focus. Definitely a make you miss your exit weed.. not that anyone should be driving high lol. Sorry bout the lack of pictures.

Messed up not trimming lower buds really fluffy but still, branches were lst to long and buds got heavy in branchs

I gave the lady's a litle haircut at the start of the week, and started using Bud ignitor on the Canna feed Cherry's to speed things up a bit😉 I also Switched the lady's to 12/12 on the 10th of november. Rock on Growmies 🌱

July 6: looking good starting a new week. In a few days out I’ll add another scrog layer to space out the 16 colas. July 7: draped a piece of scrog netting across the plant and exposed the growth tips while tucking in the fan leaves. Net is not tied down as I realize it doesn’t need to be. Will add another final scrog net in about two weeks. Hot weather forecast for next two weeks which is pretty much perfect timing. 👍👍 July 10: hot last three days (32 C) with a super high overnight low last night of nearly 20 C. Added a second scrog layer to separate out the growth tips a bit further. Adding loose scrog net layers seems to be working quite well while maintaining the easy portability that I need to chase sunlight hours in my yard. July 12: made it through the heat wave and now back to ideal cannabis temperatures. 👍. She looks really good this morning. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Everything is going great. They've responded well to topping and training. Two more weeks before changing to flowering cycle.
