1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. I added 36 Gallons of Water I added the following Nutes: Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil CalMag= .75Mil/Gal= 27Mil FloraMicro = 4.2Mil/Gal= 187Mil FloraGro= 3.8Mil/Gal= 137Mil FLoraBloom= 3.0Mil/Gal= 108Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil EPSOM- 1 big pinch 1/28/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 4- I cleaned her up just a little bit on stuff hanging down. I also made sure the PH is balanced so she could soak up the New Nutes. 1/29/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 5- I Got sick, Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/30/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 6- I was still to sick to go to my grow room... Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/31/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 7- First day back.. Her PH was down to 5.72 so I raised the PH back up closer to 6.0, I took a few pictures and got her height.. Feeling better through prayer so was able to get some pics today.

A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Both girls have been topped to slow them down. I personally prefer to LST but given the no space situation they got a hair cut. Very bushy structure they are itching to switch tent. Another week or so I’d say before I transplant in their final pot. It’ll be either a 3 or 5 gal pot but I must consider the feeding plan with a strain that is said to finish 6-7 weeks. Considering the shorter flowering I’m tempted to stay in a smaller pot to ensure she has time to eat up the premixed amendments. Try and get some better pics next week āœŒļø

at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are dense and frosty but very little in size! i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them . lesson from this grow : grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.

Plant is swelling slowly but surely. Its future behind then I'd like. She smells like fruit but not gone lie i dont know what papaya smell like. Moved the light up a couple inches some of the leaves where getting a little purple and I dont think its fading more like stress.

This week is start of 4th flower week. The plants look good but i need buy some yellow cards. Buds become bigger and start to smell more intense. The lemon haze surprised me, because i germinated her 15 dsys after them other 2 and shes the biggest of them all. Hope, everything will be fine. āœŒļø In the middle of the week i took the net away because it seems they stretched finally and they have a good shape now.

Been soo busy, these girls are just doing their thing. Some are a lil pissed from the fans but they need the airflow. Better than mold. 10 are thirsty AF, 2 are not. I have gone through 48 gallons of water since last friday! Crazy!

Its good growing plant,good cloning its all from 1 freebie seed!On flowering they stretching 2x maybe more im not expect it but all good.think need more Silica for plant like that for more strong stems

Day 37 - Everything looks good.... they are drinking so much.... i built a bit more stable light setup, and i'll need to buy afew more plugs and stuff, to fill it out ...... i organised all the 2700k globes, ready to swap in..... still waiting on the exhaust fan, so i'll keep em in "grow" mode another week or 2 .... i'm vaping a leaf or 2, and drinking "green tea hot chocolates" .... it is so delicious in hot chocolate .... my health has picked up since starting the vape/drinks... the 21 thc/19 cbd is supa healthy ... Day 38 - Getting them ready for Flower, noticed they are lacking in nutrients, so i started em on the heavier dutch master gold flower nutrients. Day 40 - Added some pics. (they look droopy because they in night mode, just turned on lights for pic) - Started them on 12/12 flower, still working on getting all the lights, gear, and globes, for the right spectrum and amount of light.... atm got - 7x 2700k (click) , 2x 6400k (osram), + 60w light panel .... i'll go get some more gear today and hope to expand it to 10x 2700k , 2x 6400k ...... I put the exhaust filter fan on seperate power, so it doesn't go on/off with the timer, but stays on all the time.... it totally fixed up any odour problems, haha ....... Added some different pics for my light spectrum ... etc..... the outside winter temp is now at 40-60oF (5-15oC) so with the 12/12h, the temp inside the tent is dropping to 60-80oF (18-22oC), abit low, but flowering is supposed to be in winter, so idk, see how it goes..... I'm new to growing, so idk how this will work out....... just working it as i go.... i noticed afew spots on a leaf, so i upped the neuts abit more, they are still drinking like fish, huge amounts.... Day 40 late - new vids - Got the extra gear and installed it all... redesigned the initial setup, refined it with proper measurements, had to get my steel rule out, lol....... got the 12 leds in and running, 10x 2700k clicks, and 2x 6400k osrams, with the panel..... it's lookin beautiful and got the exhaust on 24 hrs now, all working perfect with 12/12 timer.... they are forming a few spots on leaves, so hammering the nute water into them now... they are drinkin 1-2 litre of nute water a day each.... (nute water = Dutch mater gold one grow/flower, 800-1000 ppm 6 PH) šŸ˜Ž Some details about lights.... i did some maths on it, and included some handy pics..... because i'm using cheap leds, i'm keeping the distance at 25cm, they are leds so they won't burn, and it massively increases the lumens/lux/Par, and with my home built light setup, the leds are spread out enough to keep it lower.... worked out good..... something of note is that all the led globes are built/made in china... however different marketing/selling companies from around the world... and the german osrams are 1w leds ... by far the most superior, but anyone can design and send the requirements to china to build em, haha) it's not a contest, we all work together.... haha.... the person with the best led light globes gets my business, because i want the best for my babies.... :) (let me explain- 1w led vs 0.5 w led, the watt of the led projects the light, lumens, LX/PAR etc much further the higher the watt of the led....my 600w panel has 0.5w leds, the philips has 0.75, the osrams have 1w leds..... ) each globe philips (dutch)- 10.5w internal - 14 leds 0.75w 1055 lumens each globe osram (german)- 10.5w internal - 10 leds 1w 1080 lumens each globe click (cheap)- 9w internal - 16 leds 0.56w 800 lumens light panel - 70w - 600w 30 red - 8 red 12 blue - 8 white 7500k 1 ir - 1 uv = 20x blue 6400k - 38x red 2700k internal - 60 double leds - 120x0.5w 6000 lm

These girls were grown under 12/12 from seed from the very beginning. No long vegetative stage. Very little training. Almost no aggressive manipulation. Mostly allowing the genetics to express themselves naturally while we simply guided the environment around them. And throughout the entire run, these plants surprised us constantly. Huge central flower development. Massive stacking. Incredible resin production. Beautiful terpene expression. And honestly… some very unexpected structure for indica-leaning genetics. This harvest was divided across several reports because there was simply too much happening to compress everything into one single update. We wanted to properly document: * harvest, * drying, * trimming, * curing, * fresh frozen preparation, * washing, * temple ball production, * extraction evolution, * and finally the smoke review itself. GrowDiaries limits the amount of files we can upload per update, so instead of rushing through everything quickly, we decided to slow down and explain the process properly week by week. And honestly? I’m very happy we did. Because now we can finally close this chapter understanding not only how these girls grew… …but how they evolved. And evolution is honestly the perfect word here. The flowers themselves cured for well over a month, some even approaching two months now. And during that time, the transformation became beautiful. The aroma deepened. The sharp greener notes disappeared. The smoke softened dramatically. And the terpene profile became something honestly very difficult to describe perfectly with words. To me personally? This smells like: * earthy sourness, * soft skunk, * herbal spice, * and a gentle diesel layer hiding underneath everything. Not aggressive diesel. Not overpowering fuel. But now that some curing time has passed… something magical started happening. The temple balls evolved. And this is where hash becomes truly fascinating. The hash you are seeing now looks completely different from the fresh temple balls shown previously because the compounds inside are evolving over time. And that evolution is natural. At first, freshly pressed hash is often: * smoother, * more uniform, * more elastic, * sometimes shinier. But during curing: * oils begin migrating, * terpene fractions separate and recombine, * cannabinoids continue evolving, * moisture stabilizes, * oxidation slowly changes color and texture, * crystalline structures begin appearing, * and the entire resin starts transforming internally. Removed a few leaves from 1st and 2nd lady which where covering some branches. 36: Some brown things in the flower. Is that normal? 1st lady is just growing in the lachuza pon granulate. it has ph 7.1 and i just watering her with pur water. maybe it will work but her developing seems to be behind 2nd lady. 37: Feeded 2nd lady with 1.5l water PH 5.8 and 2ml/l BioGrow and 2ml/l BioBloom, That cocktail had ec of 414ppm. the water had around ec of 180 ppm. I will try to optimize the mix of purified water and tap water. What should the proportion be between cal/mag? The tap water has a proportion of 7:1. 40: Feeded 2nd lady with 1.0l water PH 5.9 and 2ml/l BioGrow, 1 ml TopMax and 3ml/l BioBloom, That cocktail had ec of 580ppm. the water had around ec of 200 ppm. A few lower leaves look a very little bit turning into light green. At all she looks very healthy in my opinion. And they are really stinky šŸ˜‚ The side branches grow fine. I counted 10 of them šŸ˜ They reach nearly 30 cm. Main branch is over 40 cm I think. Need to buy a measurement think šŸ˜‡ I think LST is good for dwarfs but I have to work on the technique a little bit in the future. 41: I can measure height now. 1st lady is only 28cm. 2nd lady is 38cm and side branches 28cm. 42: Same cocktail as week 40. 1.25 l

She seems to be slowing down in growth but starting to notice little white hairs growing so at least shes starting to flower. Idk how much longer it’ll be but hopefully soon lol

July 25: looking good. Recovering nicely from the hail damage two weeks ago, and now into the second week of force flowering. Looks good. July 26: watered with compost tea this morning. Plants missed heavy rain last night as they were in darkness in garage.

Last days for most of them - only Strawberry Cough will stay longer - she is super hungry and I can not keep up with feeding her - most of leaves are yellow now. 😱 The rest - four plants will be harvested on the weekend - 2-3 days from now and frozen - I'll be making bubble hash and fresh frozen live resin from them in the following weeks 😈 Trichomes are mostly milky with some amber starting - ideal ripeness and time to freeze those glands
