Week 8 Looking absolutely huge😂 They’re so tall and wide . Lots of healthy green leaves and strong roots. I was worrying a lot about sex issues as when I did my research I found out they’re quite common to hermaphrodite. Was really worrying but all calyx’s have female signs (so far🙏🏻) so pray for me brothers&sisters.

The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close..Trying to pick the best day for both of the strains I have going at the moment, the Apple Betty are a little closer than the cookies, but they are very similar in readiness… I’ll be checking daily, I did get a wireless microscope for Christmas so it has become much easier to tell👨‍🔬 I’ve got mostly cloudy, with a few clear, but I am waiting for a bit more amber to give them the couch lock that I like when I smoke. The overall cycle was a lengthy process for a fast version variety. Therefore, I would personally consider this as a normal photoperiod type based on this growth experience. However, the results were worth waiting for and produced some extravagant buds with colours unseen before. The taste is somewhat Berry fruity affect along with earth like aroma (I smoke pure cannabis only). Good head high followed by relaxation somewhat, overall excellent plant and would consider growing again. Bit disappointing on the dry weight but its all satisfying in the end. I may try Geotextile pots next time to help boost the yield and performance.

Nothing has realy happened since I cropped the royal cream....It is just hanging. Decided to do a dry trim so that it takes longer to dry due to the fact I am having to just use my cupboard so the humidity is pretty low. Leaving the leaves on just means It takes longer to dry. I am going to crop the Easy Bud in the next few days when the mood takes me. I had 4 left over R. Cream seeds left over because I informed them that. bought 2x 3 packs and only 2 seeds germinated so they sent me another packet which is REALLY good of them and the sort of thing that means I would definitely use Royal Queen Seeds again, for sure! The trich's are basically all cloudy with a few clear. I cant see any amber but my loupe is a ridiculously cheap Chinese piece of crap. I will invest in a microscope camera so I can hook it up to my phone or MacBook. It is way too hard to keep everything steady In order to see what is popping with my sexy trichomes. Obviously feeding has stopped for about a week now. I forgot to change it In the diary last week so will try and correct that now.. I know it is not strictly relevant but I had to go somewhere earlier and took a video because I was able o walk in the middle of a main road in my town which Is usually packed full of cars, especially at the time I was walking on it. It is a time that makes me even more glad I grow my own. I really need to buy the bigger tent, lights and re-locate to the bigger, more subtle cupboard (not the one i am using to dry my weed in the video I posted) and then I will be able to effectively ScrOG the 2 or 3 plants I have, in order to maximise yield so I can be totally self sufficient with regards to my cannabis medicine. UPDATE - MONDAY I just realised I have made a proper idiots mistake an missed out on some much tastier buds because of it. OK, so I got paid today, so I though I would treat myself to some of them cheap COB chips I used for my last grow because hey were super cheap and actually really effective considering the price. I ordered 2x 100w 6000k veg spectrum chips with a solderless connection for my power. This hought process lead me to go ad retrieve the old citizen LED and I thought I would try it. Still didn't work, then suddenly I thought it could be a simple blown fuse so I changed it aaaannnnd.....still doesn't work. doh! I started to remove the COB holder and COB from the heatsink (it was just glued to it using thermal compound) and when I laid it on the table I decided to test the driver without the COB holder on the tiny off chance it might work...nope I then realised maybe I got the + and - the wrong way round, tried again and boom works perfectly. The connection from the holder to the cob had bent slightly off contact. Really annoying that this whole time I could have doubled my photons to the plant, however, really nice that I don't have to spend a load more money on lighting in order to upgrade into the new room. So all I have to do now is spend money on a pre-drilled heatsink and a new metal COB holder for the citizen.

While I was very happy with the grow at harvest time, I am a bit disappointed with only 190 grams total dry weight from these two plants. The buds are nice, dense and packed with tricomes, the smoke is smooth and the high is clear.

The zkittlez is maturing faster than the sour grape kush by a pretty significant amount I don't imagine it'll mean I'll have to harvest at different times just its pretty noticeable ones farther along than the other with the sugar leaf production and bud size etc. Still working on solving the heat problem for when the lights are on so I don't have to leave the tent door open all day. I guess I can put a small AC in the room and hook it up to the intake but I don't really want to.

Watering less at a time but more often now. Spent some time twisting the main stem to assist in bending her over. Secured down between the first and second node of 3 currently. Stem is very rigid so I moved some soil around the base to relieve some stress on the base. LST seems to be doing great since I was forced to move the tie downs from the main stem to the fan leaves. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. First week of flower!

Permanent Jealousy XL Auto sprouted and looks healthy😁 Kept it under 20/4 light

As you can see one of the phenos is flowering actively but the other one is still vegetating. I had to supercropp the vegetative one, because she was growing very tall and was going to burn her leaves. Other than that everything is great ✌️

This week is all about achieving environment consistency in my garage during winter months in Western Canada. Playing around with a mix of appliances and variables to get good temp and humidity.

Barneys Farm pineapple Chunk 7 weeks of Flowering Completed 8th March 2020 I found some Bud rot in a bud early this past week and immediately removed it. This had me very concerned so after I washed my hands I inspected all of the remaining buds and couldn't find anymore which was both a blessing and a Warning to be extra vigilant from Now on. Luckily the Constant high humidity caused from the overcast conditions has finally abated and this weeks forecast is for Mostly sunny and Dry days. The Big fan that can be seen in the above images runs 24/7 now to create a constant medium strength Breeze that physically moves the branches and hpefully inhibits any further Rot fom occuring. Barneys Farm suggests a possible 56 day harvest for this strain but in the two times I have previously grown it . The phenotypes required 70+ days to get 20% amber trichomes. To be perfectly honest I doubt i'll be able to let this one run for that long because of the potential loss of bud thru rotting. I'm only at day 49 now so I guess I will be counting myself lucky if I can get it to around the 60 day mark ? Been needing to feed and water quite often as its drinking up everything I throw at it.
