Gave the lady a good flush a few days ago and have only watered one time since then, still using RO water. Cut out the molasses from her diet, will only be getting water until harvest. Pistils starting to flush from white to orange, I’d say about 30-35% so far. Buds starting to show thickness, which is good. Smell becoming more pronounced each day. The end is very near for this beautiful lady. After harvest she will be getting a 30 day cure, nothing too crazy but enough to bring out the terpene profiles.

Se hizo una defoliación, hace unas semanas hubo temperaturas bajas, lo cual para controlar esas temperaturas abrí las puertas en su periodo nocturno , estrese a los ejemplares y estos en este caso fueron las más afectadas en cuanto a hermafroditismo, aun con el problema rocié y elimine todos los posibles plátanos, y seguiré adelante y seguiré observando que no salgan más , los cuales seguiré eliminando. A mayores sufrimos una pequeña carencia en N que con un buen aplicado de alimentación se soluciona. . La humedad esta al 45% la temperatura está entre 21/25 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . I started her flushing this week. I think she wants another week to ripen so I don’t plan to chop her until next Saturday (29/2). She is still filling in the runs on her tops. Two weeks ago I wouldn’t have thought she could but there’s been plenty of calyx growth and the runs are nearly gone 😃.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here: 1:. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. Easily a 2 week savings in time pre-flower🤟😎😳. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. The mainline training didn’t take long in DWC - roughly 4 weeks of veg. And she was ready for the flip. We only extended it a further 2 weeks to keep pace with another grow in the same space. Otherwise, I would’ve cut the veg. Time back to 4 weeks which would’ve made the behemoth of a root ball a little more manageable. We also iceballed the res. With frozen water bottles twice a day throughout the grow. Just to keep temps down and avoid any potential issues. Whether or not there’s a better, more efficient way to get these kinds of results remains to be seen. We’re still trying to strike that balance between faster veg. Times and maximized yields. If anything, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the hermie issue at the end had something to do with the root ball binding on itself due to size. The true culprit was an unanticipated light leak but still - The ball could’ve been 2/3 the size and likely have produced similar results🤷‍♂️. I’m giving the method a slim 4 because it was a great success but too long a veg. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Regardless of the final number, we had hoped that the yield would’ve been bigger. She’s a beauty of a plant but didn’t really puff out as much as we were hoping for. At least not a mainline on a 6 week veg. At 5.125oz we’re obviously not complaining and the colours in late flower were some of the best ever seen😎👌😎👌. What she did yield was frosty, dense and surprisingly stinky AF. I see no discernible difference in the quality of the terp. Profile vs. Any of our previous organic soil grows. For those who tout this as an advantage in soil media, I say get urself a bucket and a bubbler, then we’ll talk. Hydro is just straight up awesome: 1:. 4 palm trees on the yield - any haul north of 5oz is a great addition to the cellar: 1:😎: 1:😎. I’m going to start flushing this gorilla, almost all trichomes are milky and I want enough flush before they start leaning towards amber. Buds will probably ripen a bit more this last week as well. It's nice and crisp springweather, perfect to add some more frosting to those budstickles.

Week 9 looking healthy. Another light defoliation, get better light to the nuglets. The plants seem to be responded really well to the additional room in the tent. Their buds are filling out more which is nice. Update: Noticed some light spotting on the youngest plant. Plant leaves measured around 80ish, so I put my light up an inch or so and turned my fan up. Youngest plant is looking the best with great buds. I just realized I have no idea how to tell if a plant is ready to be harvested Bud is thickening up still with some really great trichome production. Lol someone send me a better camera so I can take frosty pics.

Been behind on updating this grow. Life is busy, but we’re in week 8 of flower. Buds are nice and hard, pistils are starting to change over. About 70% are brown. Also the buds are turning purple naturally without any temperature drops. Everything is smelling great, definitely more candy, creamy a hint of burnt rubber. Will start my flushing in a few days.

Amazing Gorilla Zkytllez !!! If only I could transfer the smell to the photos. All Gorillas bloom beautifully, a joy to look at. Unfortunately, bad weather is coming... It's supposed to rain all week, so we'll see how Fast Buds genetics will cope

She’s taking forever and she’s so massive! I think her bud growth has slowed. I had to defoliate a couple weeks ago. She was outgrowing the tent again. I took a lot off of her. That’s probably why the slow growth now I’m thinking.

What a plant! Grew very well, buds fattened up nicely towards the end. Humidity went up to 60% from under 40% in the last day. 27.08g - main cola 62.21g - upper buds 39.56g - lower buds 5g - payment to friends for helping trim 😂 133.85g total

They are standing perfectly straight and I didn't want to break or snap anything off. They are doing great. 🔸I tried out my additional light this week and connected it to my controller. As soon as the flowering starts I will switch it on. I'll have to see how much distance I use this time, the lamps were too close to the plants during the last grow “Runtz” and that didn't look nice. 🔸Next week I will start giving her Big Bud as soon as the first buds appear. 🔸A&B: the fresh shoots and leaves look almost yellowish lime green...but will darken with time. Well I missed a week was going to shut down this grow as the plants were not doing anything all the deformed leaves were making it so the plant was using all its energy on fixing the deformed leaves so slowly I pulled off all the deformed leaves witch took me 2 weeks and there is still a few left now . Finally they seem to be growing again after almost 3 weeks of being stunted. Had plans of flowering them next week but there way 2 small so I will have wait probably 3 extra weeks . This grow is a good grow to show people what not to do. Will do an overview of the whole grow at the end of flower saying what I would do differently next time so these problems don't happen again . Oh yah and when I flushed the plants I did not flush them good enough and they were still being over feed for for 2 weeks .
