|»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 21 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17578.1, Pretty smooth grow week! For the main tent, did a bit of super-cropping, but for the most part, been letting these girls do their thing! Bud growth is ramping up and looking beautiful! As for the veg tent, transplanted two more clones into the right quadrants and topped the mothers in the left quadrant. Top watered all veg plants with a few microbial goodies. Also kept up with clonal RO waterings. Decided to dive into the world of tissue culture and am stoked to give it a try! Kind of forgot to take PPFD reading and height checks, but will do so next week. Anyways! Onwards Ensign! The veg garden is green and thriving with perky growth! --- Okay! Need to transplant two of these girls! --- After bit of self-debating (and quite a few bowls), I’ve finally decided on the ones! --- Going to transplant Gorilla Goat #1 along with the original Garlic Budder #1 --- Decided to the transplant the Gorilla Goat #1 for the loudness and overall lemon chem gas terp profile. --- As for the Garlic Budder phenos, going with the purple pheno. For a while, was planning on transplanting the #2 pheno, but after a 5-month cure, the unique and smooth smoke of the #1 pheno was the ultimate reason for switch. --- Ca-Caw! Always pheno hunting! This is why we grow! --- Okay, anyways! - [18:22]: Time to transplant! --- Both 7-gallon pots have been pre-amended and ready for more roots! --- Alright let's go cutty! --- Placed both of the spare Heady OG clones in the propagation tray. - [18:25]: Gently removed the solo cups from both fabric pots (on the right side of the tent) leaving perfect holes. ------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White, --- Dusted the sides of both holes. --- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil. --- Great! Time to transplant! --- It’s been two days since both have been watered. --- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [18:33]: Gorilla Goat #1 dropped straight out of her cup! --- Hmm. Not as rooted as I would hope, but roots look white and healthy! --- The original Garlic Budder #1 pheno easily slipped out of her cup! --- Similar the Gorilla Goat, she could have more roots, but that’s okay. Roots look healthy and that is all that matters! --- Did not break up the rootballs. --- Gently flipped and placed each clone carefully into the pre-inoculated holes. --- Pressed and evened out the top soil for both phenos. - [18:39]: Transplant done! --- Gorilla Goat #1 was transplanted into the back right quadrant. --- Garlic Budder OG#1 was transplanted into the front right quadrant. --- To prevent transplant shock and to help even out the soil moisture, going to give 2 cups of wetting solution each. --- Also adding in a few extra microbes. - [18:55]: Filled a pitcher with 6 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/32tsp of Recharge ------ Added 1/32tsp of Stash Blend ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete ------ Added 1/2tsp of WDG3000 Extra Strength BTI --- Mixed the solution and poured 2 cups straight into a pump sprayer. --- Misted Gorilla Goat #1's straw mulch with the wetting solution (back right quadrant). --- Took my time and tried to go evenly. - [19:15]: Repeated this process for the original Garlic Budder #1 pheno (front right quadrant). --- Using the remaining 2 cups of the wetting solution, misted the straw mulch for both Heady OG (front left quadrant) and TKO (back left quadrant) mothers. --- Ca-Caw!! Done with the transplant! Grow strong my veg queens! - [19:22]: As for the remaining veg clones, --- Decided to try to preserve the genetics in solo cups and basic clonal cycling techniques. --- Plan to take new cuttings in a few weeks or so and will begin the rooting process once more. --- Curing has really changed the way I currently hunt phenos and I really don’t want to lose another keeper pheno (recently regret not keeping a cutting of Garlic Budder #4). --- Oh! Also finally decided to fully give tissue culture a go! --- Another huge shout out to Laur and her independently ran business, Plants-In-Jars! --- If successful, learning tissue culture will be a huge ganja journey milestone by providing a sustainable way to preserve and maintain a diverse genetic library. --- Through continuous subculturing and micro propagation, I should be able to maintain unrooted explant cuttings forever. --- Then when needed, theses cuttings can be rooted and conditioned back into a clonal state and back into solo-cups for transplanting. --- Of course, I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, so developing a successful cannabis tissue culture protocol is going to be fun and full of failure, err, I mean, learning experiences! --- What can possibility go wrong right!? --- While learning (which will most likely take a bit), will continue to maintain the vegging mothers and solo cup clones. --- The ganja journey continues! Getting hyped! --- Don’t frack this up Ensign! --- Anyways!! - [19:28]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data. --- Also made sure to update the Ecowitt sensor names: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 54% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 39% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 28% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 49% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 54% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 55% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 34% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 61% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [19:58]: Checked the 4x4 tent. --- Ca-Caw!!! Ahh yea! --- The canopy is looking beautiful and wow buds are thickening up beautifully! --- Both Heady OG and TKO are healthy and getting frosty! --- Pretty easy night in the main garden! --- Let’s go my girls! - [20:04]: Quickly checked on the auto-watering system. --- System is still charged and no leaks or kinks found in the tubing. - [22:00]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Cheese XXL is the third commercially available edition released by Original Sensible using and developing these Afghan and Skunk genetics. The first release of these genetics was their Skunk Afghani. The second improved version was Stinkin' Bishop which had an improved and more potent THC content and was more pungent in terms of smell. Now the third and improved release on a similar theme is this Cheese XXL which has a similar THC content but with an improved heavier yield. The smoke is incredible with an outstanding flavour of pungent skunk and spicy, extra strong mature cheese created by the dominant terpene myrcene with its strong earthy scent accompanied by caryophyllene and pinene which combine to create a peppery acrid cheesy odour. THC levels are exceptionally high in this Cheese strain and the effect is well-balanced creating mental and body relaxation with a remarkable alleviation of stress and depression. The strong pungent aroma starts early in the flowering period, if you're growing Cheese XXL indoors you'll need plenty of ventilation to disperse the stinky "road kill" aroma of these babies! Cheese XXL is a Cheese strain particularly suited to indoor setups but also thriving well outdoors these feminised marijuana seeds are incredibly resistant to mould and disease and produce a substantial harvest that both the professional and amateur growers alike can easily achieve. These Cheese weed seeds are outstanding, break open the buds ready for use and you'll see why, the stench will make your eyes water! Cheese XXL from Original Sensible Seeds is a great choice to break into the commercial market of growing cannabis so if you're looking to buy something special with extreme yield, potency and flavour then Cheese XXL cannabis seeds are simply the best choice

FERMAKOR BARREL MIX – BASE IN USE (Testing on the Fantasy Feast girl we pulled out of another diary https://growdiaries.com/diaries/274722-grow-journal-by-yan402 ) (FERMAKOR BASE SYSTEM KOH VERSION diary https://growdiaries.com/diaries/278391-grow-journal-by-yan402) (Urea & Micros on the way — first week running without them) 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 💧 30 L Barrel – Current Working Mix 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 Step 1 – Calcium Nitrate (Part A) 7 L warm water (~35–40 °C) → added 45 g Calcinit, stirred until fully clear. That’s the calcium + nitrogen backbone for the feed. Step 2 – FERMAKOR PK Base (Part B) 15 L water in the main barrel → added 30 ml FERMAKOR PK Concentrate, mixed well. This forms the main P + K part of the formula. Step 3 – Combine Solutions Slowly poured the Calcinit mix into the barrel while stirring — no reaction, still crystal clear. That confirms the mix is stable and precipitation-free. 🌿 Step 4 – FPJ / FFJ Batch Added 30 ml homemade FPJ (fish + veg batch) ≈ 1 ml/L. Color shifted to a light-amber tone — looks alive and active. 🍋 Step 5 – Citric Acid Balance Added 1 tsp citric acid after everything was blended to fine-tune pH and help chelate micros later on. 📦 Step 6 – Top Up & Check Filled to the 30 L mark with plain water → pH tested with drops, showing yellow-green — roughly 5.8 – 6.0 range. Not been a bad week and we’ve had some great weather, this weather is also predicted for next week too. Earlier on in the week I noticed some trails on the plants leaves so I had to ask you lovely lot what was going on. I have leaf miners, I have sorted the problem on after you told me what it was and I have had no problems since. I have decided to use nutrients this week using plant magic root stimulant and cal-mag I have been using this every other day with just plane water when not using nutes. I have noticed by doing this that my plants have really come on loads. Topping my plants last week caused no issues and in my opinion they never even noticed I had done it 😂 So all in all a very good week, let’s hope for another easy week next week.

Welcome to week 11 of my grow diary. Now it's time for the final sprint. The trichomes are 80% milky. You can tell that the weather is getting worse and worse. I'm thinking about harvesting the plant soon because the weather forecast looks really bad for the next few weeks. Some days it's supposed to rain 20-30 liters per day. That would be certain death for the plant. Let's wait and see how it actually turns out. I have stopped applying fertilizer for now. In addition, watering has been reduced to cause some drought stress and thus stimulate terpene production. See you next week!

The plants are stressed AF and after more research from being here I'm seeing the problems. I got another fan and put it on the intake duct so that air was being actively pushed in rather than passively from the other fan which only takes air out. And then I got a photometer app called photone. So I fixed it until it read 100 on the PAR meter which the guys at the grow place told me was good. Now with this hygrometer I can pay attention to this and maybe set up alerts for when the VPD exceeds a certain range.

Well not really much too update everything is still going well i guess, purple queen is really slow with starting to set flower mode is that normal with this strain? Or I’m i just not patient enough 😅 sticky beast is going really well also going strong into week 5! My best one most be the runtz #1 that is in week 6 the other one is chasing it but like I said already i broke the main root (not all the way) while lsting her. I put some ducktape on her but i think she will take a little longer then the number 1

Phwoah! Grow Genius silica came thru in a big way, blessing the Blue Paint crew with the rigidity we’d hoped for. One pheno has a slight curve to it and it’s now evident that they’re starting to break away from each other in phenotypical expressions by way of height, strength and leaf structure (possible variations in new growth width), but these might well be environmental influences rather than genetic. Seedling feeding regimen has been swapped out for the veg stack. The environment of the nursery tent saw a slight shift downward in temperature as the seasons press closer to winter but this didn’t stop progress, even after the Blue Paint crew got a repotting, increasing their root space 10 fold. With the increase in legroom they also got an upgrade to first class with a tent of their own as older auto tent sisters were shifted to their final grow space. Unfortunately this might only tide them over for a short while. The worry is, longer than expected flower cycles mean their final home, the photo tent, is still packed to the rafters with ripening flower and Blue Paint is coming up behind at an alarming rate. No choice but to play it by ear and possibly end up making some big purchases, drastic changes or tough calls. Ready and willing if it comes to it, fire genetics over bag seed all day long 😂. If you’re keen to see other stuff I’m doing hit my Insta, Booka @bestendank420. Stay lifted, big love and boomshanka 🤙 Booka @ BestenDank

She's actually not using as much water as I'm used to with other plants. I went a good week without watering her, and she didn't show any signs of needing more. So, after almost 10 days, I fertilized her again.

_____📅 Week 11 | 5nd week flower | 📅 Day 85 - 91 | 05.04 - 11.04 ______ 08.04.25 | Day 84 🌞 🔸Sorry I skipped a week because I accidentally deleted and overwrote my photos. 🔸I didn't change the water again this week but when I measured the EC value it came out to be over 2.1 so I will change all the water in the next few days. I think that's why I have some brown leaf tips. I really haven't taken good care of her lately...I should be ashamed of myself, but she's doing well...😅👌 🔸The smell is awesome...it smells very sweet and fruity like cherry cream...the trichomes are also developing really well and are already abundant 🔸I'm honest and could have gotten a lot more out of her, but when she suddenly got so big I thought to myself...never mind...just let her go 😂 _____________________________________________________________________ 🌡️🔆= 25-26° 🌡️🌜= 18-19° 💨 Hum. = 58% 🔦 PPFD = 1000 umol 12/12 🔦⌚DLI = ~43 ___________________________________________________________________ Equipment: Veggie 💡2 x 200 Watt Cosmos LED 💡4 x 40 Watt Spider-Farmer ⛺120 x 120 x 200 Tent (4 x 4 x 8) 🍯 18-20 liter Bucktes

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! It is nice to be able to just sit back and watch them on auto pilot.. :-) Tomorrow Water Change Day!! 5/27/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Flower (Day 114 overall) I admit it.. I had to defoliate a little bit.. I looked in while changing the water today and there were just a couple blatant offenders blocking the light from lower bud sites and those leaves they just had to go. Other than that I changed the water and this week is where I drop everything and start preparing them for this last phase of the grow. Loving a few of these buds they are starting to beef out very nicely. I added 36 gallons Mammoth Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil Root DRIP = 1Mil/Gal= 36Mil CalMag= .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil FloraMicro = 3.8Mil/Gal= 137Mil FloraGro= 2.8Mil/Gal= 100Mil FLoraBloom= 4.6Mil/Gal= 166Mil LiquidKoolBloom= 2.5Mil/Gal= 90Mil TPS SIGNAL= 4.0Mil/Gal= 144Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil Water Temp= 70.1 Tent Temp= 76 Humidity =64 ** I have two dehumidifiers running on Ink bird controllers to try and keep the humidity down, In late in flower I like to keep the humidity above 45 but below 60. 5/28/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Flower (Day 115 overall) Opened the back of the tent today and boy did she need some defoliation love in the back. Other than that I took off a few little sucker buds trying to form. I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. I am uploading footage of the reversing process for your viewing pleasure.
