Grow diary 11 stage 8 Day 71 to 80 This west coast o.g is attempting to flower after I knocked an hour off the lights. I'm thinking she needs me to go 12/12 so really her autoflower gene is redundant. She is taking over the tent and I'm having to move plants to another tent to finish them off. But on the bright side once the other 3 plants are out I can go back to adding a bit more nitrogen get it healthy and throw my net over her and switch to flower.

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. I don't know how to answer directly to you on the grow question.... Thanks again!!

Die Blüten schwellen immer mehr an und ein starker Geruch liegt im Raum. Um die Temperatur von teilweise 31°C zu verringern habe ich einen zweiten Mini-Ventilator oben im Zelt angebracht, wodurch warme Ablift der Lampe abgezogen wird. Da ich eine sativalastige Wirkung möchte und meiner Beobachtung zu Folge etwa 85% der Trichome bereits milchig sind, werde ich 7 Tagen ernten, was insgesamt 70 Tage von Keimung bis Ernte entspricht.

Day 64 : FLIP THE LIGHTS DAY. It is time now to flip these beasts. if I allow them to get any bigger , I will have to knock a hole in my roof to fit them at harvest. I am so impressed with them from planting till now. They have not missed a beat during their toppings and bends . Their recovery times have been hardly noticable after each session and theybhave rewarded me with a great shaped canopy to get working on as they stretch. I am not counting the transition weeks as flowering until I see actual flowers forming. FFT1 has remained smaller than the rest and I don't think she is a record breaker . looks ok but doesn't have the size and thickness of her cousins. FFT5 is a beauty of a plant with a lot of thick stems to keep the buds upright hopefully.The same with FfT7. They are full of new mains to get working on and the stacking below decks is a good indication of some baseball bat colas. They are doing brilliant in the 2and run of the L.O.S soil and show no signs of that changing at all. I did top dress with Life-cycle tongue them a little boost for their stretch periods. They are taking a lot of water between them every 4 days now. Approx 25L before any minimum run off occurs. All told a great week in the room. Excellent genetics Fast Buds , Thanks Hayley.

TRICHOME CHECK was successfull.. Har har ok mostly milky. A lot of trychomes not ready.. Buds re not rock hard. Like you touch a dog. Not the fat ones i mean. And they grow up. Everyday. The buds. I mean theyre not the biggest. But i saw gelato buds spend in dispenserys (www). Who re smaller than mine. They grow up in height, tall and weight. Trichomes re the same as always... 😛 Har har.. GANJA THERE EVERYWHERE. STEAM. SOME LEAVES(heavy you can see there where she eats aphids. NO JOKE.(@sugarleaves) First trichomes surrounded it. Than one day later you see them stuck in some trichoms. Time to christen my brand new grow setup! I have only ever grown outdoors before (316g last year, for those wondering), so I’m excited about the possibilities of a controlled environment. I’ll be trying to tickle as much as I can out of this setup. First time doing a public diary too! I’ll be starting out with an easy (and cheap!) strain from my beloved RQS. But don’t you worry! I’ll be trying some different strains for sure, I’ve got my eye on some MSNL ones once I feel more confident. I started Germination with the good ol’ cup of water technique, my favourite since it’s easy and has never failed me. They all popped and were planted on the 5th. Wish me Luck!

27/8 Topped her at the 4th node and took away some of the fan leaves to give more light. 2ltr feed with RJ/SM/ST to alleviate stress of topping and defoliation. Watering every 3 days. 28/7 LST'd. With the small grow space i'm forced to keep her height down, Hopefully will see an even canopy.

This strain is certainly giving me its fair share of problems. First, it was the yellowing of leaves. Now, I'm noticing early signs of bud rot. Just a few colas are affected right now and I'm hoping it doesn't become too widespread. I've cut off affected areas and I'm hoping for the best. On the bright side, one of the plants isn't presenting with any of these problems. In fact, the buds on this plant in particular are looking quite beautiful and have just started showing off its purple tint. Being a first time grower, I expected I may run into problems. That's why I decided to hedge my bet and plant four seeds instead of just one. I suppose that insurance policy is paying off.

Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. Tables to be built this week after trim is installed Week 1 Spend - $2080 Week 2 Spend - $350 (mostly on hardware store visits) Total so far - $2430

Hey guys! Another another update from my babies! (rather late, but better late than never!) 😬 This week was special. I wanted to make a better timelapse compared to what I did in my previous grow... but I didn't know what my DSLR could only charge thru the battery slot or with some special equipment. Shame on me! So even when I had limited resources I still managed to do something... so I hope you'll all enjoy it! 🙏 Besides of that, at the start of the week I changed 3 babies from their cups to their final containers and I think I did it properly! They didn't stress! Even when I might have done it a little late (if you see in the very first photos their roots were growing outside of the cup 😱). I'm happy! 😃 I also overwatered them while I was changing their container 😞. In the very last pictures you'll notice that some algae was growing (the green thing in the white rocks) so I gotta be more careful next time and use less water... gladly it doesn't seem to be causing troubles! 👌 About the 5th seed I used I fear she didn't make it... she's still inside her shell and it doesn't look like she'll come out 😭 4th one is now showing a lot of progress, even when she looks weird... so I still have hopes!
