Fed and defoliated to start week 7. The plant looks good, the buds are on point, frosty, sticky and look as expected at this stage of the grow.

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

I will begin to look trichomes next week so I know when to remove all nutrients and give it a final flush i like a good % of amber trichomes 👍💨💨

Que pasa familia, empezamos la primera semana de floración de estas Original de GrowBarato. Y es que no veáis de un momento a otro se quedaron sin espacio, vaya estirón esta última semana. Están bastante sanas , tienen muy buen color, se practicó una limpia de bajos y ramas que no eran necesarias porque no llegaran a la luz. Hasta ahora todo bien y ya superamos esta primera semana. La calabaza y la zanahoria contienen multitud de minerales y vitaminas que ayudan a fortalecer el cultivo y ayudan a la expansión de las raíces. Este preparado es comparable, funcionalmente, con los extractos de algas, aunque mucho más completo. Esta hortaliza es rica en antioxidantes. Destaca su contenido en carotenos, que son los responsables del color característico de la calabaza. ¿Será que esto puede influir en los colores de las cepas?... en observación!! Gracias a la fermentación anaeróbica con Microorganismos de Montaña, los nutrientes, vitaminas y minerales son quelados por la acción de los MM, consiguiendo así un caldo nutritivo de primer orden que las plantas asimilan de inmediato. También he hecho una pre-hidrólisis con la cáscara de camarón, esta vez he hecho una hidrólisis alcalina con KOH, que luego de dos horas añado a la mezcla final, además he diluido, todo lo posible, los minerales mediante una agitación violenta.. Disuelvo todos los elementos y añado levadura de cerveza y fresca para dar comienzo a la fermentación. Coloco en una bolsa de malla los Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos de mis dos semilleros, donde reúno los Microorganismos (Bacterias de la familia de los Actinomicetos, Levaduras y Hongos (Micorrizas), Microalgas y Protozoarios) de seis bosques vírgenes de mi zona. Cierro el bidón herméticamente con válvula de escape de gases, como estamos en Enero y hace frío he puesto una cinta de calor alrededor del bidón para mantener una temperatura constante de aproximadamente 36°C, de esta manera el preparado puede estar listo en tan sólo 30 días, si fuera el caso de dejarlo a temperatura ambiente el preparado demoraría 2 meses más en estar disponible para uso. La fermentación comenzó a los 60 minutos y se ha alargado durante 25 días sin interrupción. He abierto el bidón a los 45 días, el olor ha fermentado es muy agradable, el color fantástico, algunos Microorganismos se ven prosperando en la superficie, separo medio litro para ir usándolo y cierro el bidón otra vez. Tengo varios cultivos incipientes donde voy a aplicar este fertilizante y observar sus efectos. Hasta la próxima semana... Was out of town all week and came back to find the CBD Star in my space bucket not looking good. It looks like a phosphorus deficiency but not entirely sure. Yellow leaves with brown/black spots and dark red/purple stems. I flushed it with 2 gallons 6.5 pH water, re-fertilized, put it out in the sun and defoliated. I defoliated pretty heavily since many of the fan leaves were yellowed and blocking light from the lower bud sites. The center was also getting pretty dense so I carefully removed some of the leaves to help with airflow. Despite the stress, It seems to have bounced back reasonably well. There’s probably irreparable damage given the level of yellowing but the buds continue to grow and thicken. Cheese has absolutely exploded and looks great. It probably doubled in height last week with many bud sites on the 5 main stalks. Excited to see how it turns out.

It was time. Her trichomes are cloudy as the weather today, with just a couple ambers. Total wet weight of the buds was 390g 😳😳😳 I kept 200g for myself. The rest was sliced, diced and was given to the worms. After drying, there should be about 40g. Have I said already how much I hate this local law 😭 She smells delicious nonetheless! And is as sticky as a yellow fly trap 😂 Had hoped for more color though. Next time I run her, I'll see if I can keep the temps under 25c. The stalk and stems were all pink and I suspected the rubarb color was from Mg deficiency, but she persisted through 1.5g/l of Epsom Salts, so I concluded she wasn't deficient. She was a true pink pheno! ----------------------------------------------------- It was a fun experience, with a couple challenges during the grow! Definitely repeating this cultivar in the future! Esta semana se hiso poda de ramas bajas y una pequeña desfoleacion a los 16 clones,y se comenzo a alimentar con alga bloom mas power roots aun.

Fruit Automatic - Dinafem Segunda semana de cultivo. Tengo muchas expectativas con esta variedad de Dinafem. He visto cultivos de compañeros realmente buenos y espero llegar!!! A mediados de la segunda semana se la implementado los nutrientes que aparecen reflejados. Además, aportando quelato de hierro para estimular la clorofila de la planta y tierra de diatomeas para prevenir futuras plagas terrestres. Al igual que sus dos compañeras de viaje, crece por día y sana.

Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.
