End of the first week in flowering, day 50 from sprout. I gave them 30 hours of darkness before switch to flowering and set the lights at 11/13 schedule for pushing to flower and avoid excessive strech. Some of these strains can stil grow for 4-6 weeks in to flowering. Plants look good. I tie up at the net every day and i am trying to keep the buds sites and stems down . I will try to do it in week 2 too to fill almost every inch of the net (1,5x1,5 meters). I water every 5 days generally and i give them 3lt of tap water. I don't measure ph as my grow is fully organic.

Plants drinking as fast as I can refill the DWC pH fluctuate cause leaf tips to burn. Coming along nicely 😆

I must say, these ladies do not want to finish! I still haven't observed any amber trichomes and they're getting rather plump! The flowers are beautiful and smell complex! Strong scents of diesel, floral and sweet. I have dropped the lights to 75% and have reduced the photoperiod to 10/14 in an attempt to push them to finish. The resulting DLI is 32. The temperatures have been brought down. 70°f during the day and 58°f during the night. I am highly anticipating the initiation of the dry-back, which is signaled by the first sign of amber. Less than two weeks left I would guess, but these ladies can take all the time they need. I have very high hopes for making top-shelf flower as well as trying to make some fresh frozen bubble hash for the first time! I'm surprised there hasn't been signs of hunger. But they appear happy and healthy! While there hasn't a nitrogen deficiency, the leaves are adopting a purple on some leaves. Very pretty! I'm looking forward to doing some updates about whether or not I saw sucess in the bubble hash. As well, I would like to update about my drying and curing methods. I've been doing research on the mechanisms involved in a dry and cure that provides the best smoke! My previous runs all had particular issues, whether it was poor enviornmental control or failing to purge the the off-gassing of drying flowers. I have high hopes! good flowering, everything is stable, a lot of inflorescences appeared this week, next week it is planned to remove the lower leaves. We had to tilt two branches from the middle, as they stretched out very much and there was a risk of burn, we are waiting for 7 weeks!

Trees have really recovered from irrigating with Ph'd water only this week. The brown spots have not appeared on new growth and are looking very healthy. I got massive leaves compared to previous grows, is this because of my "special" soil mix??? I'm tempted not to use any nutes for the time being and see how they do in my "special" soil mix. Weather is warming up, nighttime temperature not so low. This will probably be my last grow until end of summer as keeping my environment cool could be a problem with the predicted hot summer... Beach for me :) Thought I would bend over the Super Kush :)

June 8: really cold here the last few days. Likely due to the heat dome now in SW states and Mexico. Overnight low of only 1 C tonight so the plants are indoors until conditions improve which should be soon. June 9: it wasn’t as cold as forecast last night and stayed above 5 C with lowest being two nights ago at 3.3 C. Watered with 26 C water this evening to keep it warm a bit longer but overnight temps should be fine again now and she’s outdoors full time now. June 10: watered this morning with first compost tea. Pic is from the evening and she’s looking really good. A few days ago I forgot to lower the pH of the city tap water and the biggest fan leaves show some of that pH swing damage. Oops. Looks good now though after the lazy compost tea. Lazy compost tea is compost, molasses, some coco coir and some Monster Maxx. Let sit overnight but not so long that it goes anaerobic. It should smell fresh not sulphurous. June 11: looks good after the compost tea. June 13: to get the stems growing apart in preparation for another round of topping, I supercropped both stems, taped with floral tape, and then tied down using pipe cleaners and paper clips on the edge of the grow bag. 11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Okay growmies here we are at the end of our PURPLE LEMONADE by FAST BUDS. It was such a pleasure to grow, i learned so so so much this run that will help me through the rest of my adventures. The beginning was tough as i am new i over watered and did not ph the water and what i mistake. But its okay i learned. She bounced back like nothing and produced these HUGE, THICK, DENSE BUDS!i remember the panic i had week 2-3 and wanted to scrap all of this and start over.... thank the weed gods i didnt because look at this masterpiece. I always said in the passed weeks comments i hope my ugly duckling becomes a beautiful queen. And here she is. She was SOOO HUNGRY AND THIRSTY! Over 5L a day guys..... and not a SINGLE drop would come out of the bottom.... over a all a pleasure and amazing grow. I will for sure grow again and again. I would love to Try this out door or in a 10L pot can probably get this beast to be the size of a 5x5 easily! Looking happy and healthy, fastbuds autoflowers in a living soil bed 8th run in same old soil.

I didn't like the speed at which the flowers were produced. I think 4,5 liters of soil is after all too little to get the result I was hoping for organically. So this week I started giving some canna terra flores. I started with 0,7 EC and gradually increased it to now 1,3. For now it seems the plant is taking it very well. Today I'll be doing some defoliation because it's getting kinda crowded in the middle of the plant.
