Let’s go day 43!!!! Week went real well , girls started preflower so sometime this week I will be switching up the nutrients for flowering! We are stable and looking super healthy! Can’t wait to see what these ladies do this week! Hope you all enjoy !

Cruise control... Watered plain water 6.7ph on Wednesday and Sunday.... Literally no fuss. The Stalks are fatter than a #2 pencil already. No sex yet. I need them to hurry on that because I think they are already getting close to needing a flip. They should be some good sized plants. Which the 3 gallon are obviously going to be to small for a plant this robust. Maybe if I had flipped them already... All 3 are showing desirable traits. So I think we just send them all into flower and decide which one gets either Back crossed or maybe 1 of these will be a male! If one is a male then I will shoot for an F2 pollination / Offspring. But if not the back cross should be good as well. Not much else to report on this diary, easy cheesy week. Thank you all for looking.

the plant has developed a lot this week but I notice a slight yellowing which I think is due to the fact that it has not yet received nourishment but that tonight it will receive and we will see what happens and if it settles in place, I will see what to do

Overal I’m very happy. The weight’s looking insane. Obviously imma update you after drying and curing. Can’t say to much at this point, apart from the fact that everything is looking very nice!

Week 5 At the beginning of the week I set up and tested auto-pot system for 2 plants using the same reservoir of feed water. All connections work fine with no leaks, the floats are free moving and work as intended, I have air pumping into the reservoir and all connections are good there as well. I used black tubing for the feed lines and placed towels over he reservoirs to block out light from the water in the system. After all checks were made, I placed the plants in the pots and turned the system on. At the end of the week I had 3 new nodes of growth since the last topping, so I topped for the third time (4 cuts this week on the 4 set from last week and also removed the lowest). I now have 8 colas set. Feed this week was 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of training the colas to go where I want them to. I plan to train 6 to the outer ring and 2 to the inner ring. Once I have enough new growth I will set the tomato rings and possibly start wire training. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

This week the GSCE hasnt really done much strechin but buds are filling in nice and starting to get sticcckkyyy. There isnt much smell coming from the llant but trimmed LARF smelt very fruity. Both the BB and GG4 have outgrown the GSCE by far with the BB actually being the largest. The BB could use a little more lollipopping i believe but dont wanna over do it. GG4 has lots of bud sites as well but has a lot more airflow. Have just basically been doing minor leaf stripping when needed.

The grow was a complete success I am so happy and have some great quality product at the end of it. First things first the important bits the weights of each plant and what was done differently on each during the grow, plant colours can be determined by looking at the colour of the pipecleaner hooked over side throughout the grow. Pink - Wet = 548g | Dry = 106g Pink didn't have any defoliation or trimming throughout the grow, she was the untouched girl, looked the biggest at the begining but the other girls overtook in flowering in a big big way! She looked like she got root rot close to the end of the grow potentially, her leaves turned on me very quickly and I harvested her early, she wasn't quite as dry as I liked and during drying more mould occurred on some of the buds, I was left with a good 85g after being very fussy and wipping lots of buds out to protect the rest of the harvest. You can tell she was harvested a little early as doesn't taste as good or smell as good as the rest. Her buds in the jar are more compact as been curing for a week on the rest. Orange - Wet = 416g | Dry = 120g A little bit trimming/defoliation. Stripped of fan leaves on last week for flush. Blue - Wet = 466g | Dry = 121g She was smaller at the start, and I flushed too early as she had a late growth spurt and became massive, think she also developed a late root rot but caught it before any harm was caused to the buds but the leaves are a bit yellow as you can see from the final trimmed product! Also potentially so tall she may of been a bit close to the light and got a little hot. Yellow - Wet = 508g | Dry = 132g The abosolute star of the grow! We grew her originally as a backup in a spare container that is awful for growing, we ended up needing her and transplanted her in the early weeks when we broke one of the other girls. She had a good trim/defoliation throughout grow to ensure she was getting good light coverage. So from this grow I have learnt alot and will be taking the information to try and create a perfect grow next time! My plans are to use perlite to help prevent root rot in the later stages and increase air flow through the soil mix. I will also use a 9cm pot to start the grils off and transplant when they have grown out of them. I will place the scrog net in the tent early on so can use it to train the girls, probably around week 2/3. And I will do a light trim late veg and last couple weeks of flower will get a heavy defoliation. Keeps your eyes open for my pineapple express growing coming soon! Day 45 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Lemon skittles and XXL ammo are tall, bud nice and smelly plants! The addition of an enzyme has produced amazing results that were shocking and worrying at first. Massive rise in EC and PH every 24 hours from 5.3 - 6.8. Research yet no sign of any harm to the plants, in fact they seem very happy! The enzymes has created an environment friendly to the beneficial microbes and fungi that has lead to a feeding frenzy (Which wouldn't have happened ad I used Hygrozyme from the start.). EC rises a point or two as the microbes and plants expel waste and create a plethora of negative charged hydrogen ions. Thus, the PH rises. Never above 6.8, strangely. Because the microbes are eating and shitting so well, they have added a lot of chilated nutrients that are easier for the plants to uptake at a wider range of PH (Yes, some as high as 6.8). The fact that there are so many bunches of calyxes sprouting and exploding, filling in the flower space is proof enough for me. I got the seeds from a local dealer so I was unsure what type of strain it was but he told me it was a Gorilla Glue Auto flower so I just went with that. That is why in the first few weeks I set my lights on a 20/4 lights on and off schedule. Around 7 weeks in my grow the guy I got it from said that his flowered when he switched his light to 12/12 so I kinda doubt that it's an auto and maybe it is just a photo. I then switched the lights to 16/8 just because I heard it is better to give them more rest and is better on electric. When I thought that the plant was big enough to go into flowering I just flipped the switch to 12/12 and two weeks later it started flowering so I don't know if it was just time for the plant to start flower or the flip. But in the end I got a weight of 1500 grams wet weight with the stems on and a dry weight of 215.56 grams of just straight bud so at the end it was very good considering the light I have and ran into some problems on the way.0000
