Week 3 - 4

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Day 85: First Grow We’re entering a new week, and it’s exciting to see the progress in our first grow. The plants are thriving, and the buds continue to get thicker and frostier. The formation of orange hairs is becoming more pronounced, indicating that we're on the right track. This week, we’ve decided to order a microscope to monitor trichome development more closely. Additionally, we're considering adding CANNAZYM to our feeding regimen to support bud growth and overall plant health. Let’s keep pushing forward and make this a successful grow!

Beginning of week 10(Bloom): Not much to mention this week. The fade is starting to show more. Really looking forward to harvesting this. Doing my research now on what I need to do for a successful harvest. Added in a family photo😀

We did some pruning, removing any lower leaf touching media, small side growth and a few large fans draping new branch sites... Week 3

Hi all, Welcome to my🍌💜👊 week update Thank you so much for all support on this bananas journey. Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 14 Jan 15- Jan 21 Flushing and preparation for harvest 😁 on Jan 15 feed girls for the last time with nutrients. It was reduced dose by 60% 5ltr no runoff. Following morning topped up with 6ltr of ph down and only fish shit. Runoffs PH 6.2. Second watering Jan 18 6tr and 7ltr on Jan 21. It was last watering. Week went very well. No white pistils hairs on Athena for a good while and barely few left on Xena. Many buds have different shapes and colours but all of them are equally hard as rocks, sticky and smelling so deliciously. This week trichomes development was just like I wish for. Just milky and amber in play Status on Jan 22. Mostly of buds 20-50% amber. It's just perfect for my needs🤤 On Jan 21 lights were on for the last time and girls will be harvested after 48 or 72h of darkness. Stay tuned for the final week update! And this is it! The last week! 😲 And an early update as well! 😁 This is the last video and last photos of my girls before they were chopped and I'm quite happy right now! Almost everything went how I planned it, which is great 💪 I lowered the lights (5cm) and I did a good chunk of defoliation to allow more light penetration which I believe totally helped! Some of the branches got a lot of weight and could barely hold themselves (good thing they didn't break!) I also think that I should've chopped my girls last week because I got way more amber trichomes than what I originally wanted 😝 but eh, I got more weight in exchange! 😆 Oh, I also gave my girls some ice cold water! Soo far I flushed twice. Run off water ppm is 290-319-328 I noticed on all three girlz, the trichomes are milky/cloudy with very little amber on the leaves. I'm waiting for more amber. Hopefully by tuesday when the soil id totally dry more amber will a appear. I purchased another 3x3 tent because I know for sure my 2x2 tent will not be enough holding room. Funny thing, I trimmed the baby buds at the bottom that wasn't going to grow much. I placed it on the side in the tent for two days and decided to roll them up and smoke it. Surprisingly, I did get a high but the tatse was a little strong.

(Harvested on day 74) Small enough buds and not very dense by the looks of it. Leaves covered in crystals so didn’t trim buds. Left hanging for only 3 days and then clipped off buds and put them in drying mesh to speed up the drying a bit. Rome is 20 degrees with humidity at 50% Jarred 10 days later. Buds seem damp on the inside but I think it’s just because they are super sticky.

They're growing nicely. I've managed to solve the fungus gnat issue without pesticides!! Just waiting for another node or two and will top them both!
