GMO × Triangle Mints BX – Week 16 Veg | Heatwave Incoming, Drinking Even Harder She's now at 135cm and still climbing, with day temps already hitting 29°C this past week and nights staying mild at 15°C. Watering volume has doubled again — 10L per feed now, up from 5L last week. At this size and in this heat she's pulling everything she can get. Did another round of defoliation this week, clearing out some of the larger fan leaves shading the lower bud sites. With a canopy this dense, keeping airflow and light moving through the lower half matters more with every week — especially heading into a stretch of hot, still air. Canopy remains dark green and even across the board — no deficiencies, no stress signs, just steady bulk and structure. The earlier LST work continues to pay off in how clean the light penetration looks through the mid canopy now that it's been opened up further. Nutrients unchanged: CANNA Aqua Vega 4ml/l, CalMag Agent 1.1ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1ml/l. pH 6.2. The week ahead is looking like a genuine heatwave — highs around 34°C with partly cloudy skies, lows staying mild near 19°C overnight. Going to need to keep a close eye on watering frequency and root zone temps if this holds. Overall Development Week 4 marks the transition into mid-flower. Stretch has mostly stopped, and the plants are now directing energy into bud formation. The canopy remains uneven, with some taller, thinner phenotypes and others more compact and structured. Bud sites are clearly established across all main branches. Flower stacking is progressing steadily, and early cluster formation is visible on the tops. Plant Health & Observations • Significant yellowing on older fan leaves, especially mid-to-lower canopy. • Some plants appear pale green overall, indicating high nutrient demand during bulk transition. • One or two phenotypes remain darker green and structurally stronger. • Lower interior growth is lighter and less vigorous. • Selective removal of old yellow leaves was continued to improve airflow and light penetration. Despite visible leaf fade, bud development continues actively. Bud Development • Flower clusters are expanding and beginning to connect along the stems. • Pistil production is strong and consistent. • Buds are not yet dense but are clearly transitioning into the bulk phase. • Resin production is beginning to increase. This week represents the start of the main swelling period. Environmental Adjustments • Temperature reduced slightly (~1°C) to stabilize the flowering environment. • Airflow maintained across canopy level. • Canopy density moderately thinned to prevent moisture buildup. • Light coverage remains strong across the upper layer. Current Focus (Entering Week 5) • Support nutrient demand during bulk phase. • Prevent excessive early leaf loss. • Maintain stable humidity to protect developing flowers. • Monitor weaker phenotypes closely for further decline or nutrient imbalance. Overall, the crop is entering the critical mid-flower stage. The next two weeks will determine final bud density and structure.

It is the waiting game for this lovely lady. Everything is on her side but time, as I must harvest within the week. I am flushing for this last week for the 1st time.

This week as went well, plants are starting to bulk up and get comfortable in their new pots. Next week or the week after next might be the time to transplant them into their forever home pots, then flip to flower after 3 weeks of them growing into their new space. They have been getting a bit to much N with the Gaia Green 4-4-4 mix, I keep forgetting how much it gives them and that I need to mix it with the power bloom 2-8-4 in 25-30/75-70 or 50/50 ratios. I have extra Gaia Green Soluble seaweed extract to make up the missing K in the ratio mixes. Still mixing the PH a bit lower at 6.0 with the citric and malic acid tests, plants are going well with them, tested a bit of runoff with the one smaller plant and was getting aorund 7.5, EC still sky high so wont need to feed for a while now but they are not burning and that's a good thing. they seem to be tolerating the Potassium Silicate as well, I don't like how much it alters the PH but till I get in some ground wollastonite. Sames extras as any other week with the addition of some magnesium, rest as follows, yucca extract, silicon, potassium seaweed extract, microbes, fulvic acid, Clones are doing ok, when I took the photo of them this week they looked good and then 10 min outside of their humidity dome they looked like shit and all withered. Some of them are showing signs of putting on roots with little white specs on the stalk coming through. Will have to place them in some potting medium soon and see if they take off. And if they do I will have some to give away to whoever wants them in my friend group. I also have that one smaller plant that was delayed by a week or so thats also extra. Got to find a loving home for it, my other grow buddies don't have anything started ATM and don't want to start till later in the year. :( Pepper update! some of the peppers are living the high DLI of the lights and some of them are not... the purple jigsaw ones seems to be getting a bit burnt under the lighting. They all will be taken out soon enough. I should look at transplanting them into other pots soon and they likely root bound. Can set up something in my room with an old SF1000 I got or the Sunblaster 18" 6500k lights that I used to grow with. When I touch the leaves of the goronong and them smell my finger they have a lot of hot pepper aroma coming off of them. I think these peppers are going to be quite spicy when they are all done. The Fatalii peppers are the same and I know they are spicy AF but their smell is a bit more bright and less earthy as the goronong still pungent all over. The Fatalii are also a bit smaller, could be the older seed just is not as vibrant as new seed. Should be fine once they are outside always a good producer for me. Going to make infused salt with them and give that out as gifts to my friends. I sowed these seeds on Sunday, June 20, 2021. They sprouted on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. I moved them into the veg tent today (6/24) and planted them in a soil mix of 80% Fox Farm Ocean Forest and 20% Fox Farm Happy Frog. I also used Dynomyco when I planted these! I wasn't planning on putting them in the soil this quickly.... but, if you look at the pics of the seedlings in the tray you will notice the taproot shot right out the side of the pellet!! I didn't want to leave it exposed to air... so, in the soil it went!! Otherwise, we are off and running!! I definitely need to give a huge shoutout to Seedsman!!! I won these seeds (x5) and 5 Blue Dream from a contest back in January. I believe it was the holiday one where you needed to visit their social media accounts... Darkness was sketchy but glad I did it. Should have cut plant 1 last week. Plant two looks great. Smells like candy. So stoked. Have two mothers and 4 clones ready to go. Clones went into flower earlier then anticipated had to “reveg” them then back into flower so they look funky. Might do a flower diary to show.

Weather was finally a bit better, but this plants won't grow really bigger any more. Think it was way to cold in the beginning, so they are far from their real potential. Still beautiful to look at and starting to smell nice.

Nuevamente repito siempre el mismo proceso en el cuidado de la planta en cada etapa. Siempre cuido el ph que para mí es lo más importante en este trabajo. Despúes todo lo demas se puede mejorar.

5/24 Week 9 and the state of the grow is stable. Well Sally and Athena are in flush through the week, trics are white little to no amber so timing seems good. Baba is on low dose nuets she goes into flush prob in a few days. No rush on her she can stay long as she wants. 5/25 Further reducing nuets on Baba but continuing to feed leaving PK as is Flushing continues Finally under the HPS bulb, set to max 600w (tent runs 2F cooler with HPS over MH) , will keep it high as we may with heat keeping things under 83F Did some leveling work on the canopy, things are not so out of wonk now, grow is looking better Some natural light pics to show her resin and frosty purple 5/26 Looking at Baba's bud growth think she will be in flush very soon. Flush proceeding on others some def showing up on Athena primarily, CA mostly which is expected in coco on flush 5/27 All in flush now. Just fighting heat this week damned new lights were stolen in transit so on HID for the meantime. Just have to keep downing the power to keep the heat in control and finally increase lights out to 18-6 if that proves insufficient.
