🌿 Mentha de Croco by Terpyz 🇬🇧 Week 25 and by now the vertical growth is definitely over for both plants 🌿. The left Mentha de Croco is still around 2.18 m, while the right plant has reached an impressive 2.37 m 📏🚀. The left plant is still ahead in bud development 🌸. The buds are noticeably further along and are starting to become really interesting. When rubbing the sugar leaves, the aroma has become extremely intense, very lemony and almost solvent-like 🍋. It’s a really fascinating terpene profile and definitely something I haven’t experienced with one of my plants before 👃🔥. The right plant is much more subtle at the moment. Its buds have a more earthy and less intense aroma 🌱. But flowering is still far from finished, and the terpene profile can obviously change quite a lot over the next few weeks. I’m therefore very curious to see whether these two phenotypes will become even more different by harvest 👀🌸. Another thing I’m noticing more and more is that this cultivar seems to have a tendency to produce absolutely huge buds 😳🌸. And that makes me a little nervous, because both of my plants are starting to build some serious bud mass as well. I’m really curious whether the branches will be strong enough to support the weight of the buds towards the end of flowering 💪🌿. After dealing with some strong autumn storms earlier in the season, I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on them 🌬️. Apart from that, not much is happening at the moment. Today I’ll give both plants another Almicanna compost tea 🍵. After that, it’s mostly a matter of observing and letting the plants do their thing. Water consumption is currently around 4 litres per plant per day 💧. It varies a little depending on how warm it gets during the day, but the significantly cooler temperatures have clearly reduced their water demand compared with a few weeks ago 🌡️. I would say we are probably around halfway through the flowering development now 🌸⏳. And from this point on, things are going to get really interesting. The next few weeks will show how well the weather cooperates and how the buds develop under German autumn conditions 🍂🌧️. If everything goes according to plan, late October would be the approximate target harvest window ✂️🌸. But a lot can obviously still happen before then. Fingers crossed for plenty of sunshine, not too much continuous rain and, above all, no more major storms 🤞☀️🍂.

After experimenting with various brands of nutrient formulations and concentrations.. the plant is showing improved health. The root zone has become too dense for consistent flood levels even with the same number of seconds for the pump ON cycle. The solution is now fed through the pipe which is reduced to the smaller feeder line to fill the nutrient solution at at the top of the container which is gravity fed back into the reservoir. The original air stone is used to prevent the roots escaping the container and entering into the nutrient tank solution. The only way to remove the roots is to let them dry out and shrink enough for easy withdrawal from the container. The video shows very slow drainage due to the barbed pipe attachement beging submerged below the top of the nutrient level. It was removed to facilitate quicker drainage. I just noticed that I swore in the video as I was still playing with the timer ON setting and had to quickly unplug the electricity manually in order avoid an overflow... 😂

Day 22. Everything is normal. Looking good! Light regime day/night is 18/6. Day 23. I continue to water. So, enter = 110 ppm , exit = 320... Next watering 60% of fertilizing. Day 24. Made my video. Everything is excellent Day 26. Plant starts emitting a slight odor of cut grass and marijuana. It is wonderful. Day 27. I continue to water. Added 1,5 liter, no waste. The plant has a great appetite. I trimmed 7 leaves to make more space for new shoots. Light odor. Day 28. I added 2 liters of fertilizing solution: 590 ppm enter, 470ppm exit. The plant is growing well. I will water everyday from now on. Substrate gets dry quickly. One day fertilizing solution (food), one day just water. No flowers yet

Great strain, would recommend. Nice smoke/vapor, friends love it, stupefying and euphoric, no heavy couch lock like heavy indicas. Taste great in The Mighty vaporizer, citrus with a hint of pine.

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

Hey, green warriors and cannabis connoisseurs! 🌱✨ We’re now into week 2 of the flowering stage in our Runtz Battle, and the excitement is building! Our plants are thriving, and the first signs of budding are beginning to show. Let’s dive into the progress and take a closer look at how these beauties are developing. Week 2 Flowering Progress 🌿🌟 As we move further into the flowering phase, here’s what’s been happening: • Bud Formation Begins 🌸: • The Runtz plants are now focusing their energy on flower production. Tiny buds are starting to form at the nodes, and you can already see the potential for a bountiful harvest. The plants are strong and healthy, with dense, vibrant foliage. • F1 Compactness Continues 🌟: • The F1 strain remains the most compact of the group, showcasing tight internodal spacing. This compact structure is ideal for maximizing yield and creating dense, resinous buds. Environmental and Nutrient Update 🌡️💧 We’re maintaining our focus on providing the optimal environment and nutrients to support strong flowering: • Watering and Nutrients 💧: • The Autopots are doing their job, keeping the plants consistently hydrated with a TDS of 400 and pH of 6.2. This balance is crucial for nutrient uptake and overall plant health as they develop their flowers. • We’re continuing with Regulator and CaMg Boost in the reservoir. The rich, living soil is supplying most of the nutrients, allowing the plants to flourish with minimal additional inputs. This organic approach is part of our test run to see just how effective the soil’s biolife and nutrient mix can be throughout the entire growth cycle. • Environmental Conditions 🌡️: • Temperature: Room temperature is stable at 30.3°C, with a cool water temp of 18°C, keeping the roots happy and healthy. • Humidity: With an RH of 51%, we’re in the perfect range to avoid mold and mildew while still encouraging robust bud growth. Lighting and Growth 🌟💡 Our lighting setup continues to play a crucial role in the plants’ development: • Lumatek Zeus 465 Compact Pro 💡: • The Lumatek Zeus is delivering intense, full-spectrum light, which is essential for strong bud development. The even light distribution is helping to ensure that all parts of the plants receive the energy they need to produce thick, resinous buds. • TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller 🌡️: • The TrolMaster system continues to manage the growing environment with precision, ensuring that the plants are kept within the ideal temperature, humidity, and light parameters. This control is vital as we move deeper into the flowering phase, where consistency is key to maximizing yield and quality. Looking Ahead 🌟🌿 As we head further into flowering, the excitement continues to build. The Runtz plants are thriving, showing early promise for a beautiful and bountiful harvest. With the environmental conditions and nutrient strategy finely tuned, we’re on track for a successful flowering period. Stay tuned for more updates as these buds continue to develop and the Runtz Battle heats up! Heeey!! Guess who missed the watering schedule again! 😳 At least my babies recovered fast... but heat where I live is just crazy right now! The average of this week was 30° C (86° F, which is veeery high) but there were some days that I reached 33° C (91° F) 😲 My girl also reached the size of 71cm. Somewhat less than what I was expecting but the buds are getting bigger and more beautiful, so I don't really care right about that. The smell is also getting stronger. Also Matcha isn't going to grow much more but her branches are full of beautiful flowers and I think she might end getting a little more resinous than her sister. Maybe she has a different phenotype? 😮 Her leaves are also darker and "harder" (probably it's the nutrients) if you compare them to Pistachio, maybe that's a sign? (besides her size). Anyway, that's all for now. See you all in my next update!

Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Lights are still at 25% power Day 17 Leaves are getting darker. Everything is looking good. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.718 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 813 Tank Temp 74.5 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites again.

Everything went Green in this space homies! I'm just controlling the stretch with the net, not to emullate a full scrog, since the net Is from baggage not the scrog purpose to prevent light burn,. Feeding schema Is posted to maintain a small rooster of fertilizers, but barrier was not considered as fertilizer even when it surplus, in this ocassion it has the purpose to future plague prevention & expansion. Elongation of each plant : Eleven Roses : In this case they are being a bit low profile compared to other plants, expect that for a indica, that had LST . Santa Bilbo: they do elongate but a bit more controlled with the top cut & lst combo. This was a tough lesson because i already know the strains , indeed of all as quoted as first week. G13: But this one buddy still surprises me even being an almost indica legend, they are being one of the most forgiving plant i had know, but stretches way more than i remember !. Cheers! ☺️

This plant was a BEAST!! She loaded up on frost as much as one could want. She smells super pungent!! The weight of the buds are becoming too much for the branches. This plant was pure gold for a fast photoperiod!! 😎🌱
