Black Lobster - Cipher Genetics Week 6 Bloom 🌸 The changes in her bulking are becoming less noticeable as the days go on, so this means her bulk phase is coming to an end. She has developed medium sized flower that is completely covered in trichomes, she's incredibly sticky and her gassy blueberry scent lingers on you for a good few minutes after you brush up on her! Her pistils are turning amber and her colouring is becoming more deep green with dark purple tips, the sugar coating of trichomes (she is 100% bred for hash/rosin) makes it look like something from outer space! She's really beautiful! 😍 Temperatures have started to drop now, which is perfect timing for these girls as they all have about 3-4 weeks of scheduled bloom left. ✂️ I've removed her lowest most side stems that were too far behind the canopy, they will only cause problems and use up energy that could go upward. Other than that, she is in great health 👍🏻 💧 Watered every three days with 5L of RO water, nutrients were mixed individually, in order and then finally pH'd to 6.3. I've altered her nutrients to meet her needs for late phase of bloom. 💡 PPFD: ~900 ♒ VPD: 1.46kPa 🌱 Days from seed: 102 🌸 Days in Bloom: 41

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower the Cal mag has made absolutely no difference too the yellow colour of this blackberry so I suspect it is just how this strain is as meany diary's on here of the same strain are also on the yellow side , but it's certainly not affecting the speed of the growth of her , i also bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , I accidentally bend the main stem last week while I was putting them under the netting too try and control the stretch , luckily it did not crack or snap the branch at all and she didn't droop on that branch at all and has healed already , it may or may not be related but as soon as it happened the side branches thickened up too the thickness of the main stem , this plant has over taken the rest in size even being a full week too 15 days younger , it's certainly not ideal but it really does not appear too have slowed down the growth and may well go in my favour , this lady really did stretch out from week 4 into 5 and is showing no sign of slowing down , her side branches are very thick almost as thick as the main stem , her leaf production was minimal and I have only had too remove very few too expose the bud sites , the yellowing seems too be recovering now and most of the plant is green now , Update , Now gone a lush green colour instead of that horrible yellow , and the buds have already started too purple , she has also stepped up a gear with her nutrient intake almost drinking 6 pints since Thursday , She seems too have slowed down on the stretch and has so meany bud site scattered all over her with as the diary name suggests black roses everywhere , and note too any seed banks reading this if there is not a purple stain out there already called black rose now is your chance lol and Iwant a sample pack first kinda like the tester :) Now defoliation , as you can see they really didn't seem too mind at all being stripped and within a couple of days they had all replenished the lost leaves and even this week olive had to pull the odd few off as they have grown out , Method , well all info now is simple , Anything I cannot tuck under something that is blocking a bid site with shade I remove too middle or bottom , Everything else stays , I just stand above the plant and pull off anything covering the sites , it's really as simple as that , I see some strip them until there is nothing left on but a few sugar leaves , but for me didn't like the look of the plants , for me the growing process is just as much fun as the fruits ,

I harvested the 2 plants and I’ve got them drying in my 4x8 tent. The temp in my tent is staying between 60F and 64F and humidity is 58%-60% they’ve been drying for 10 days so I’m hoping to get another day or 2 before I start trimming. I’ll post an update once it’s all trimmed and weighed up

Please like and follow the diary, or leave a comment!! appreciate the support guys🙏💚🔥 Ok guys here we are i thought they would be ready for harvest by now, but i think they gave another 7-9 days to go soo fingers crossed next post will be harvest time! I would have carried on feeding if I knew it would take this , but now we are on flawless finish until harvest Trichomes are still mostly milky, have some clear ones on the banana purple punch because she is foxtailing like mad because of heat, and just a touch of amber on some Been 30+ Celsius most of the grow, luckily this week will be cooler for them I also did a stupid and fell in my tent while taking pics, ended up with 1 branch of z up as a premature tester hahaah I've added some pics of it Am going to enter my banana purple punch and z up in the biggest cola contest (I know my ruler starts from 22cm my 10 month old broke it) so BPP is currently 34cm long and the z up is 24 cm long

@F42: Watered today and everything is looking good, plants were super thirsty and the pots are feeling much heavier again. Looks good so far, think that the buds are gonna chunk up a lot these next few weeks. Very excited about the quickly approaching bulk. Continue to bend the larger fan leaves to the sides to help the lower buds get light. Update @F46: Getting very aromatic in the tent, nugs are looking super frosty and my hands get really sticky after touching them. Soil is still damp, but the pots weight is getting a bit lighter again. 3 more days till the next watering. Update@ F48- Week 6 of flower is done and has it ever been a good one, the plants are doing so much better than I ever could have imagined for my first grow. Starting to research the best time to start my flush. Was planning on harvesting around mid february, so that means I have just three weeks to go before they get chopped and hung to dry for a week.

This week #2 has fattened up a fair bit. Earlier in the week I tried a technique called backbuilding which I never heard of before which involves snipping of the very top of bud growth late in flower to encourage fat buds rather than stretchy ones. Left a couple as they were to compare. I am giving this one plain water from now till the end. #1 is progressing. The bottom of the plant has totally disappeared haha, hopefully the GHE nutes will save the top. Due to lacking nitrogen during its extended veg period which I wasn't planning for; thought it would start flowering anytime! Looks a lot more frosty than #2 did at this point. Should be a good harvest none the less considering how it has had the top cut off and the deficiencies.

Ganja Farmer AK 2.0 XL Day 47 from sprout Light viparspectra XS 2000 dialed in at 75% intensity watering every other day or every two days The bud structure is growing very differently with this strain. Flowering came a bit later but I did give LST early on which could have delayed flowering. See you all next week! happy growing!

Start of week 4 of flower! Off to a troubling start, as the light switched on over 1 hour ealiere than scheduled. I took a spare timer, and set it up to continue it's 12/12 schedule, but now moved one hour back. I cross my fingers they forgive me for this error.🙏 👽👉31/10 The day after watering and the day my timer messed up my 12/12 schedule. But hope it brings no problems. I defoliated lightly and only removed most under the SCROG line. Even a couple of underdevoloped branches that stretched below SCROG-net got cut. 👽👉 1/11 Been having a battle with humidity after watering, but upped my air circulation to help. 👽👉 2/11 Waterday* Upped my nutes on BioHeaven, BioGrow and BioBloom. 👽👉 3/11 They seem to be responding good to the upped nutrients. 👽👉 4/11 Humidity under control. 👽👉 5/11 The VPD on point, has really speed up the trichome production. 👽👉 6/11 Waterday* Stayed on the same schedule, as last watering. They seem very satisfied and no signs of mistreatment.

4 weeks in and all is looking stellar! The stacking on the BHB is stunning, while the Cheese is producing some respectable clusters and the OJ is defining up top and needs a bit of a clean underneath. All the others are producing from top to bottom so as long as light penetration is adequate, I'll let them go. BHB#1 has a most interesting aroma and I'm impatient to see her develop! Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash. I plan on pressing #5 because she is the frostiest. 6/9 PH 6.46 PPM 239, temp 68 2 ltr each 6/10 PH 6.6, PPM 230, temp 68 2ltr each 6/12 PH 6.4, PPM 242, temp 68.5 2ltr Thank you for sharing this journey with me and as aways, thanks for visiting, for the likes and most of all growers’ love and support. Stay green, growers love 💚🌿my friends. 💫Natrona💫
