The plants are happy and their buds are growing, although not super quickly. Sour lemon OG is definitely the most pollinated and its buds are the airiest with seeds emerging. The hermie in the backyard fell over last night and snapped a few branches :( I patched him up and I hope he's okay! Humidity is still high but dropping (75% RH today) as the weather outside gets cooler.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. The Fruity Donutz ladies started blooming a few days ago. And with the bloom, they vigorously grew in height as well. Unlike last grow I now stopped with the Alga Grow in time so there's no sign of Nitrogen burn, just really abundant growth. The nematodes are doing their job in the soil and the black fly polulation is slowly decreasing 🎉 . The plants do not stretch as much as I feared so I'm going to let them grow without LST. The branches are naturally filling up the empty space in the GTools so I'll let nature follow it's course (as long as the course leads to rock hard buds obviously 😅). Stay tuned for more pics and updates later this week ✌️😊 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Since the Fruity Donuts were stretching like crazy. The top leafs started showing signs of light stress and I had to think of a solution. One was supercropping the plants, but it felt like a bad idea. HST also has an impact on the plant growth, and both ladies are blooming now. I couldn't raise my light any higher because of the suspension system, but after a good vape I took a closer look at the clips and came up with an idea. By directly hooking the clips to the top of the GTools I got at least another 15cm of extra vertical space 🙌 . Now the plant has enough space to gorw a little bigger and the buds are safe from lightburn.

Week 5 bloom

Well it’s was there final week of Veg !!! I gave straight PhD water this last week and she loved it hadn’t missed a beat gave it a nice defoliation/lollipop headed into this first week of bloom ensuring it doesn’t get to congested as the may double or triple in size these strains I chose are all small plants at finish and all finish in 55-63 days of flower so not looking forward to a 9 plant trim at harvest but excited to see what these girls have in store going forward #HappyGrowing Everyone

Hi Folks, i'm glad to share with you these awesome results. With a simple prune scheduling: Two Topping (weeks 4 and 5 of veg) and a huge defoliation on week 3 of flowering (you can see in the 3h photo the comparsion). The result was 12 top colas and a Powerful and frosty buds. Thanks for following the diary! cya! :]

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.
