Tip#5: keep your reservoir cool in the heat! Invest in a water chiller and be done with it. I’ve been using frozen water bottles and wreaking havoc on my roots. I was also slow to put styrofoam blanket around my reservoir and wrap with aluminum foil. I should have had that all in place not being reactive to the heat. I've had her Outdoor all week approx 9 hours sun and 3 hours cloud/shade day. This week temperatures are soaring into the high 20s low 30s. To keep roots happy, I use ice bottles in my reservoir when hot. I try not to let the leaves go into full stress mode i'll just have them hovering near that point. I'm on the north facing slope so the shade arrives just when the plant is starting to stress out. Running grow tent lights 530am-530pm is most ideal you can get in my spot. I cover my reservoir so the sun doesn't penetrate my basket and heat can dissipate. Night temps are down to 12 outside but in tent it is stable above 17c. I planned for budding in this weather window because of the temperature drops is said to help with terp development. The second picture shows how important calmag is to healthy growth. Experience with RO water has taught me a lot about plant calmag intakes. Too much you'll burn tips and chance lockout, not enough can cause widespread cell death and slow growth. I halfing her calmag dose now she's in 4th week of flower. I'm also removing big bud from my nutrient line after this week's reservoir change. Midway through the week wildfires are raging creating ideal conditions I don't have the resources to mimic. high CO2 ppms and high red spectrum light. High UV light which is damaging is being refracted into more absorb-able light. Temperatures also didn't peak above 32c today with the smoke cover and haze breezy winds: it peaked at a balmy almost perfect 27c. My prayers go out to those affected by the wildfires. LST training today opened up more bud sites to the light. Now she no longer fits in the 2x4 darkroom tent so I had to modify a lil. Stretch phase done It’s nearing end of week and she's drinking two 1.75 litre pitchers of solution. I refreshed my reservoir and will top up with a more concentrated solution as I think she's getting more piggy. I added h2o2 to reservoir at the wend of the week.

Week 1 of flowering and she’s turning into an extremely bushy plant with a massive number of bud sites. Switched to bloom nutrients and started guiding her into the generative phase. Did a light lollipopping and defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration across the canopy.

I can't wait until we have more! This was fun, my only regret is not vegging an extra week or 2 but I chickened out on space lol..thanks as always for dropping by and be sure to check this strain out, it's fabulous!! 😽👌 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_

POSITIVES - Good harvest despite the heatwave I experienced whilst having to dry, Bud turned out super sticky and smelly, NEGATIVES - Didn’t leave her to grow for long enough due to life restrictions (Trimmed on Christmas Day) Could have definitely filled out more but it is all a learning experience, Next one is already going through the seedling stage,Ethos genetics so very interested to see how they go! Happy Growing! 🍃

Chop day. Everything is looking and smelling incredible. The range of smells I've got so far are: floral, grape, blueberry, gas, burnt rubber, tangerine, funk. Everything appeared fully mature beside the Cambodian x Meat Breath and Pak Man so decided this was the best time to cut them down.

Greetings, fellow growers and cosmic adventurers! As we bid farewell to Week 10, we find ourselves at the culmination of an extraordinary journey with our beloved Apolo F1. Join me as we embark on a retrospective voyage through the highs and lows, the triumphs and challenges, of this cosmic odyssey. Our journey with Apolo F1 began ten weeks ago, a small seedling filled with potential and promise. From those humble beginnings, she grew and flourished under our watchful gaze, unfurling her leaves and reaching for the stars with each passing day. Through meticulous care and nurturing attention, we witnessed her transformation into a true botanical queen. Throughout her growth cycle, we employed various techniques to coax the best from our cosmic companion. From LST to topping, we shaped and sculpted her canopy, encouraging lateral growth and maximizing light penetration. As a result, Apolo F1 flourished, her branches reaching skyward in a testament to the power of cultivation and the wonders of nature. Central to Apolo F1's journey was the nourishment provided by Aptus Holland, our steadfast companion and sponsor. With their nutrient lineup, we crafted a symphony of minerals and organic compounds, tailored to her specific needs at each stage of growth. From seedling to harvest, Aptus Holland's nutrients fueled her cosmic voyage, ensuring robust health and abundant yields. And now, the moment we've all been waiting for: the harvest. With bated breath and eager hands, we carefully snipped each bud from the canopy, marveling at their dense, resinous beauty. Apolo F1 had exceeded our wildest expectations, her compact stature yielding a bounty of cosmic goodness. As she hangs upside-down, her buds curing in the cool darkness, we reflect on the journey that brought us here—a journey filled with wonder, growth, and boundless possibility. Before we bid adieu, let us extend heartfelt thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for crafting the genetic marvel that is Apolo F1. Their dedication to excellence has brought joy and inspiration to growers around the world, and we are grateful for their contributions to our green adventures. Likewise, a shoutout to Grow Diaries and the entire community for their unwavering support and camaraderie. Together, we have cultivated a garden of dreams, and the harvest is sweeter for it. As we gaze upon Apolo F1, our cosmic queen, we are filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. She is more than just a plant—she is a testament to the power of cultivation, the wonders of nature, and the boundless potential of the human spirit. Until we meet again, may your gardens flourish and your green adventures be ever cosmic. Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. Tables to be built this week after trim is installed Week 1 Spend - $2080 Week 2 Spend - $350 (mostly on hardware store visits) Total so far - $2430

Another Defoliation at the end of stretch this week for the Northern and she's now in full bud mode at end of Week 8. 3-4 left I think before the chop and she's just a happy monster. Buds forming nicely on't Chemdawg despite a bit of Nutrient Burn on some of the leaves. Skipped a feed last week and replaced with Molasses only just to help her fight off the excess 2nd Chemdawg looks like she will bud from head to toe a fairly straight forward week for all the girls but started to stink and show their flowers nicely. Head over to www.autobeastmethods.com to find out how you can learn to Maximise your Autoflower. Head to the Forum and say Dr AutoDevil sent you. Happy Growing Gang Everyday Growing is a Day Learning 💚😈 www.instagram.com/AutoBeastMethods Videos of the tent available on my IGTV just too big to upload here they keep crashing.
