Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. Wow, coming along. The girls are really getting smelly. I actually added a second carbon filter on the exhaust & have invested in a dehumidifier, keeping the humidity levels at 50% for the rest of the grow. It is running 24/7 draining into a bucket outside of the tent. I will use the water from the dehumidifier to feed my girls. I also managed to get some cal mag to help my burnt edges. Other things I have changed for this week as we are preflowering is switching the schedule from 24 hours of light to 18/6. I think this has helped the plants get some much needed rest after vegging. 12th of August. I think I can see it starting to flower!! * Minor defoliation to remove leaves that are damaged from watering at the bottom of the plant 16/08/22 Grow question ADAM BASE A - NPK 3-0-1 (3 ml/l) EVE BASE B - NPK 0-4-3 (3 ml/l) LUSH - NPK 5-0-0.5 (1 ml/l) RAPTURE - NPK 0.7-3-3 (1.5 ml/l) Herbi Cal mag NPK: 4 – 0 – 0 (1.8ml/l) 1L ADAM & EVE: Your base Nutrient, used from start to finish. 1L LUSH: Veg stage focused nutrient additive. 1L Rapture: Applied in early Bloom/Flowering. I water around 1.5 liters of mixed water PH'd to 5.8 to each plant, giving me about 20-30% run off. Am I overwatering my plants? Update! 17/08/22 I flushed the plants with 4 liters of water each using half the nutrients I was using before 13ml to 9l Adam 13ml to 9l Eve 6ml to 9l Lush 8ml to 9l Cal mag Left out the bloom - I'll add it again for the next feed. The canoeing I had on the smaller plant already seems less intense - hopefully see some good changes as we head into the next week for flowering. Today I will do a more invasive defoliation on the big plant, removing all of the fan leaves on the bottom - stay tuned for week 5 starting tomorrow. A few more weeks and hopefully we get some nice juicy buds!!!

D4 - YES! We have lift-off!!! Today both seeds poked up. BOOM! Yesterday, I also put in my new humidifier in the tent, and man, this little thing is a BEAST. The amount of water vapor it is able to push out is insane. I use an Inkbird controller to... ummm... control the humidifier so that the humidity in the tent is 80% plus/minus 5%. I'm planning on running this high humidity for the first week or so and then dropping it down. D5 - I adjusted the light to 80 cm (about 31") above the canopy, resulting in 300 μmol/m2/s at canopy level. A bit high as I usually keep it around 250, but it should be alright, I think. D6 - The left girl, #1, seems to have died. Her leaves never fully emerged from the seed, and now she is entirely wilted, laying on the soil. So yeah, she is a gonner, I think. No idea what happened since she looked okay yesterday, and the other girl is already 5 cm (2") tall. Strange, but there's a first for everything, I guess. I already have a new seed soaking in water to be planted tomorrow. She'll then be six days after the other girl, and while probably noticeable at first, I don't expect any real problems during the grow. Hopefully, it'll germinate, but if not, c'est la vie. D7 - After soaking the seed for 24 hours, I rolled it in myco, and planted it in the first pot. However, I removed and replaced some soil in the center of the pot before planting, just in case something was wrong with the soil. Fingers crossed that this one will germinate just fine. On the other hand, the second girl is doing her thing just fine. I removed her humidity dome, though, as the RH in the tent should be high enough. D11 - End of the first week of veg and the third seedling popped up. BOOM! Now let's hope this girl survives, considering that the first girl in that pot died. On the other hand, the second girl is thriving; already 9 cm tall and 6 cm wide. Her first set of true leaves is slightly twisted but not too severely, and the second set looks fine. She is a bit leggy, so I added a couple of toothpicks for support. I have been asked in DM why I have Avocados on top of the soil. The reason is simply for feeding my worms and encouraging breeding. Happy worms = happy soil = happy plants. For anyone interested in learning more about Avocado Tek: https://youtu.be/JFRtNU6W9i8?t=400

Multiple clones taken at multiple times. 1 - Directly into soil, has been several weeks and no new growth showing 3 - In cup of water for ~ 1 week then into FloraFlex plugs w/ Clonex 1 - Into FloraFlex plugs w/ Clonex 11.04 - New growth but looks droopy - Top dressed w/ 1Tbsp of Dr. Earth Starter Fertilizer 11.12 - Corrected droopy leaves by keeping soil very very moist. Watered w/ left over CloneX and Recharge at some point. More new growth very everything is very bright green. Clones in FloraFlex plugs that were soaked in warer first are dying. Clones in FloraFlex plugs that went straight to plug has a root!!

Hello everyone, here we are also the sense is blooming, being a dominant Sativa it had a notable starching in these three weeks of pre flowering, the plant is 130 Cm tall, very considering the pot and all the training I applied to it, the plant has developed many seccondary branches and many internodes, I expect dense, robust buds, the plant has large and airy fan leaves, a long trunk with a bump on top, it also begins to smell a little, the climate was not mild, very intense heat 35 degrees celsius, a bit of trust but I hope that the wasps that roam around here take care of it, overall very nice tall emerald green plant. 😈

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 4 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance I. The past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had a stuck seed that was gently removed, and will be falling off the rest of the way shortly. May 16 day 3: Seedlings planted with their rapid rooters into coco filled seedling bags, and given first nutrients. They are remaining under humidity dome. I have also started running the drip emitters to test them and dial in the amount of runoff. It is also continuing to buffer the coco so the medium will be well prepared for my seedlings when the time comes. Day 4: the seedlings are doing well so far, so I will keep them domed for a few more inches of growth. Then I will switch to a humidifier to maintain acceptable RH.

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week5 of flowering. Things are going good here in the greenhouse. Giving a little heavier P and K from now to flush. 3 of the 4 plants have a sweet citrus/hash smell to them. Delicious. I've made up some paper bags to catch some of the Kosher Haze pollen from the preflowers.to put on a couple of the Lemnesia branches for seeds. I've read that the bags they use at the grocery store for the french bread that has that cellophane strip so you can see in, works very well. I also chose some clones that I'll put in the smaller greenhouse for seed making. I chose a Pink Kush and a Nova OG to receive some male Kosher Haze pollen. I'll make some room in the smaller greenhouse where I've got the cactus now. I'll try to have the male higher than the females so the pollen drops and I don't have to have the fan up too high because I don't want any pollen to escape to pollenate other people's plants. But a little will escape out the roof vents with a big wind gust.😏 Speaking of the little greenhouse, I was putting up shade cloth and the paper wasps, that I allow to live in there because they are so helpful in the garden, were very courious about it and landing on it and then circling around. I was on the 3rd rung of the step ladder and 1 landed on my left temple and I swatted at the area while stepping back off the ladder. The aluminum door frame was just under my arm and it raked it as I stepped back and away. I looked at my arm and was very surprised to see a big piece of skin not there and blood coming out. About 1 1/2 inches long and about 1/2inch wide. I felt the top of the door and it was sharp enough to do that. I went and put a big bandage on and finished up with the shade cloth and then went to the hospital and got 6 stiches. I was in and out in 2 1/2 hours which I think was really good for 10 pm on a Saturday night. Ouch!!! We are still on book 4 of the Fat Freddie's Cat series of books and I'll go on to show the FFFB books after that. (Fabulously Furry Freak Brothers.) Harvest in the middle of Aug. just so you know. Have Fun. Chuck.
