Flower Day 22:
Today we brought out the big scissors and started defoliating. One day later than planned, but unfortunately, I couldn't make it work any other way time-wise.
We gave the bottom third a proper lollipopping and removed weak shoots and unnecessary leaves from the middle section.
Now all the plants are getting plenty of light again, and airflow is perfect throughout the canopy. 🌱
Today they also received their usual nutrient mix at 1.2 EC.
At the next watering, we'll gradually increase the EC and replace @Plagron Power Roots with @Plagron Green Sensation.
Remember the broken branch from Vegetation Week 6? It's standing tall and strong! We'll simply leave the bandage on until the very end. 🙂 (picture 3)
The lamp distance has now been reduced to 30–35 cm. PPFD readings are currently ranging between 600–700, while the light is still running at 80% power.
I also had to raise Hindu Kush #2 up a little at this point.
We could go into more detail about the different phenotypes, but that would go beyond the scope of this update. Maybe we'll find a week to take a closer look at them!
