Hi growmies! This is week no. 5 for the RQS Apple Fritter Automatic and it's doing really well. Last week she grew more than 20cm, which probably asked a lot of nutrition and led to some deficiencies. Luckily I always have some Bio Tabs Compost Tea to top up the nutrients. In addition, because the leafs were turning yellow, I added some Biobizz Cal Mag to the mix. This was exactly what she needed as now the leafs are no longer hanging, and the color has turned to a slightly darker green. I don't see any changes in the soil structure since I started with the Yuccah nutrition. Then again, it's also not having a negative effect so let's just stick with it (10ml per week) and see if it does something in the long run. Sometimes it slips my mind that soil always acts as a buffer so any changes in nutrition take some time before the effects are visible.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Nothing much to report apart from the buds are filling out, there are bud sites all over the plant so if they all manage to fill out well its going to be quite a crop! Watering about twice a week, other than the slightest leaf tip burn this plant is showing no bad signs. Smell is subtle but the buds are starting to get sticky now.

Missed couple weeks of updating. Apologies. K. Had to move the lady back under my homemade lights. The store bought just kept her trying to bunch up. Needed light through, didn't want to defoliate too much and she resisted opening up. She would actually straighten out the wire reaching for the SB. Sooo, I spread my homemade apart more. I put her back under my direct wire, switchable lights, 5 settings from 2700k-5000k, 6 t8 tubes, 1800 lumens each. Gave her a couple days. She opened right up for me. The SB light high intensity, she was bushy, even after opening up, so at week 3, under homemade, she got some defoliation. Learning more about light. I kept a minimal distance from top, center cola, to reduce it's stretch and allowed the trained limbs to catch up to it. Now @12" from center cola, about 16" from rest of plant and light covers the entire plant. Using 1000w for her babies (clones.) They like it. Using soil. And reading more. Prolly didn't need all the nutes I was giving. Doing well on 1nce weekly fish fertilizer and once weekly Gen Hydro Flora Series mixed for flower. The rest is ph'ed water. Ozarka got expensive. Tried GV spring water. Has near 300 ppm, Ozarka <30. GV pH near and sometimes 10+. Ozarka 8.3 max. GV needs more pH down and it will rise again. I pH let set, then pH again. Pretty sure it's mostly calcium, since it's source is heavy with limestone. Calcium also appears to be a buffer. Ozaka's 8.3 mostly from the calcium, but ph's easily and holds well. Mixing = parts can get a ppm of 160 and pH of 8.7-9. then pH down. Saves a little money and some extra calcium. K done for the week. Bye, y'all.

D64/F12 - 11.18 - Been a really incredible week for these ladies. All of them are thriving with lovely prebuds <3 D67/F15 - 11.21 - Lovely progress. Even the least beautiful plant in the garden is reaching above the peony rings :) D70/F18 - 11.24 - Pretty aggressive defoliation on these ladies today. They responded great last round, so I expect to see the start to put a lot of weight on soon. The black sugars (second column of three from the left) we way more leafy than the fast white widows

Mandarin Squeeze has had a very week start. She sprouted, then acted like she was gonna dampen off. So I stuck the second seed in the rockwool. It looked undeveloped a bit. So it might not sprout or I will have dueling plants if it does. She is very week, but looking way better then a few days ago. 🤞🏻one of them gets established. Thank you Terpyz Mutant Genetics, and Spider Farmer. This is also my first grow using Hydroguard. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Start of week 4 and the washing machine looking great, got the scrogg net laid down and will be just tucking branches back under the net. After digging out the Jaffa plants which were not growing at all we realised that they came in soil not coco, after cleaning off the soil and treating with super thrive and great white, giving them a new mix of Coco and some food at 1.0ec they begin to show signs of life 🙌 Hopefully they catch-up with the washing machine. Not seeing any major signs of deficiency or toxicity atm

Hello Growers & Tokers! Roots, roots, roots. At the beginning of the week they got transplanted into their final pot, 11L fabric. Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz. Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots. They were a bit down after transplanting but by the end of the week they were doing better. I'll leave her be for a week then I'll be topping to spread that canopy out and have loads of colas. Or at least that's the idea but two of them seem to be growing faster than the others so I might have to die those tops down. Take care out there and happy growing!

Day 45 in flower... Trichomes are about 80% milk and no amber... The paint and big Z are 7-9 weekers and orange cake is 9-10... Def few weeks on the orange cake... But getting close to how I like it on the other two... The smells are outta this world... Orange cake smells like orange cake... Very orange like it's nuts... Never smelt anything like it tbh... The paint is a different pheno than previous ones because there's usually a chemical skunk smell but this is a fruity pebble smell with layers of earth smell and a sticky presence that doesn't go away for a long time lol... The big Z is another sweet smelling but more along the smell of a mouth full of Skittles and that dirt earth smell aftertones... They're awesome and I'm really excited! Day 46 They fattened up over night! Coming to n end... I did find little clusters of amber trichomes on the paint and I can't find many clear on the big Z... So it's right where I want it!

📁 Folder 11 – LSD Week 3 · VEG (12/12 from Seed) Week 3 closes with beautiful, confident growth across all plants. Uniformity is strong, vigor is consistent, and it’s becoming very clear that we are working with solid, stable genetics. Despite different timelines, all plants are responding exceptionally well to the environment, the feeding program, and the hands-on approach. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development & Structure • 15-day VEG sister • Clearly larger and more established, as expected • Already pushing into approximately the 7th node • Strong vertical structure and well-spaced internodes • Acts as a reference point for genetic potential • 12/12-from-seed sisters • Currently working through the 3rd to 4th node • New true leaves actively emerging • If counting early single leaves, development aligns perfectly for Week 3 • All plants are remarkably similar in structure and expression Across the board, plants are showing: • Lush, healthy green coloration • Strong leaf posture • Excellent response to the soil and feeding regimen No signs of stress. No confusion. Just steady progression. ⸻ 🌿 Leaf Expression & Genetics Leaf shape, color, and texture are extremely consistent across all individuals. This level of similarity reinforces the idea that these genetics are well-selected and stable. So far: • No erratic behavior • No weak individuals • No outliers Everything feels balanced and intentional. ⸻ 💧 Watering Philosophy (Hands-On Approach) At this stage, everything is hand-watered, one plant at a time. • No automated irrigation • No connected systems • No shared reservoirs Each pot is lifted, weighed, and observed individually. Watering decisions are based on: • Pot weight • Visual cues • Leaf posture • Overall plant behavior This approach allows for: • Individual attention • Better understanding of each plant’s needs • Stronger grower–plant connection While this method will later be explained in more depth through video content, it’s important to document it here so readers understand how decisions are being made during these early stages. ⸻ 💡 Light & Environment (Baseline) Plants continue to grow into the light under a controlled PPFD range. No pushing, no forcing — just gradual adaptation. Everything else remains aligned with the locked baseline: • Stable temperatures • Balanced humidity • Consistent feeding • Clean, predictable conditions ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect • Continued node stacking and leaf expansion • Increased growth speed as root systems mature • Clearer differentiation between the 15-day VEG plant and the 12/12-from-seed plants • Preparation for more visible vertical movement in the coming weeks 🚫 What Not to Expect (Yet) • No explosive stretch just yet • No need for stronger feeding • No aggressive training • No automation at this stage Observation remains the priority. ⸻ 📝 Final Notes Week 3 confirms that LSD is thriving under this approach. The combination of strong genetics, consistent environment, and hands-on care is producing predictable, healthy results. This is one of those weeks where nothing dramatic happens — and that’s a very good sign. Everything is right where it should be. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
