That is the first day of Flower for me. 28th - visited Congo #3 x Bangi Haze, Purple Dawn and Russian Tzar Bomba - top-dressed each 15 gal fabric pot - re-applied support bamboo and isolated stalk - great to see Lady Bugs on the plants. We could find no other insects or bite marks. LadyBugs are welcome anytime July 1/2 - cleaned the weeds around the plant bases / hillside of the LSD and Panama Red plants ( + purpsberry and Honduras x Panama) - noticed the wind had Split the FIM-site on the Panama Red. Being so fresh, duct-tape leaves no fear that the repaired-joint is exposed. “Are Toppings safer than FIMS, when exposed to outdoor Wind stresses ?” Maybe that little nuggett on top truly holds the joint together. The split on the Fim was about to go right down the plant. - soils amended towards 15gal pots, with fresh Fertilizer, compost, azomite, kelp meal - each plant given a gallon of nutrients on the first, ahead of a possible storm. No storm, plants fed 1.25 gallons of root boost ea., through Soil Amendment… today, the 2nd - next couple of waterings are Reduced strength but full spectrum Nutrients. - Panama Red is as wide as it is tall. With wispy branches that are full of tiny delicate leaves. I threw a quik video into the photos. Better effort next time. There is a Real lacey kind of branch network on this strain - LSD is a hardy stocky plant. Supernhealthy

8th week, almost 9. Last week I gave them some nutes and looks like they like it. Looking healthy to me. Flowers getting some weight on them. Looking forward for some tasty buds. :)

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. The tiny potter grow is going good. I did burn her a bit by pushing too hard too soon. She is flowering nicely. I imagine she will be done bulking here in about a week. Then about a week of 2 for a flush and fade. Was a really neat grow with a few mutations. I did not do any training beside defoliation here, and there. Cleaning out bottom to get nutrition in easier. She twin towered due to a mutation. Regardless she did good under the Mars hydro FC4800 light. The roots are starting to crack the container. We will see if it holds together till finish. This has been a difficult grow for sure. Feeding 2 to 3 times a day has been a hassle. I sure hope I place in the tiny potter contest. Excellent strain of 70-80 cm, with a very abundant resin both at the top and at the bottom, trichomes as big as mushrooms. We also love it very much because in the end the leaves above take on colour. Super crossing d for sure! Hello everybody, currently on week 6, 5 more to go. Preflowers starting to show up , i changed the light from 65w cold (6000k) to 105w warm (2700k) , the led panel still the same. The side branches are starting to catch up with the main one. Im a little afraid i might have to bend the to. Its getting pretty close to the panel, currently 10cm away. Germinated 10/06 Defoliated pretty heavily a few days before the pictures. Have lights cranked up to 8 now. Turned down chiller 2 degrees and humidity down 5%. Changed feeding ratios to 1-1-1 for “Flora Trio”. Quit using Flora Micro and switched to my own blend (see photo). Now using 3 different solutions, Miller Microplex, Calcium / Potassium Nitrate, Ammonium Sulfate. Still same target ppm as FloraMicro, just can’t mix sulfates with Calcium Nitrate so I dose Ammonium Sulfate into my res first and then wait 15 minutes.

It is a day one of the 6th week. I watered the plants and started adding B’cuzz Silic Boost. Also made some beautiful photos under a white light and I am really happy with the plats progress. 👍 Two days after watering and spraying with the fresh water added with vita race the plants are super gorgeous and they are growing in size acchieving 60 cm in height. Buda are getting bushier as well. 😻 I am a little worried by the fact that some of the plants tend to curl their leaves down just before the light turns off. After six hours of night plants look healthy again. Could that be connected to the distance between te lamp and the plant which is diminishing as the plants grow? Thanks for suggestions😊

Day 49 - Still giving the ladies just PH water with no nutrients trying to see if I can fix whatever is wrong with them😅 All in all the White Widow & Orange Sherbet plants I took individual pictures of are growing great & should have a pretty nice yield! After 48 hrs darkness I've finally trimmed buds to prep for hanging. Plant 1 .82kg wet weight Plant 2 .88kg wet weight Plant 3 .77kg wet weight Total wet weight incl stems 2.47kg or 2470g Equate to 5.438 lbs wet weight. I can't wait to see dry weight. I'll be happy with half loss in water.

She in middle of week one flowering recieved a heavy pruning , also adjusted her lst. She started to stretch now hopefully she stretches up a foot more :) all in the end even though one made it I'm still glad :) will order more down the line for sure. Sometimes people we hit or miss with seeds!

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Shamanin No. 1 im 30 Liter Topf hat es Problemlos überstanden. Auf einem der Fotos hat sich eine kleine Spinne perfekt getarnt, die Beine sehen aus wie Stigmen. Shamanin No. 2 braucht auch mehr Wurzelraum, oder eine Tropfbewässerung.
