Week 1 results

Auto banana kush has sprouted. She lost one of her initial leaves from husk, and membrane sticking. This should not effect her much as she starts. I will find out in a few days. She is growing under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, in Athena blended line nutrition. I will start update one in a few days.🌱 More updates. 2and seedling is looking so so. Does not look strong. Hopefully thus one does not dampen off as well. These seeds have been very fickle. I really want to see these buds. GROW DAMNIT

In general, similar to the autoflowers, we collected at most a quarter of the total volume. We'll take it back and do the trimming on site. Of course, you're interested in the numbers. In total, there were 14 trips to the plot. Mostly, we focused on weeding and foliar treatment. We harvested approximately 15 plants (10 autoflowers and 5 early bloomers). Altogether, we filled 4 containers each holding 6 liters. Each container fits 350-400 grams, which means there's about 1.5 kg in all the containers, plus a 2.5 kg bag of good trim. Approximate yield per plant (inflorescences with a small amount of leaves!): Early bloomers: around 150-200 grams per plant (we didn't collect the fattest buds because, unfortunately, they got moldy, so the numbers are approximate). Autoflowers: around 70-90 grams per plant.

Safe to say we're heading into flower. I'm pretty close to full strength on the nutrients at this point. Still defoliating and filling in the screen. Plant on the right is slightly behind as far as kicking into flower. Some yellowing browning just starting a tips. I'll change out the water tomorrow (on day 49). Averaging water changes every 12 days. Day 49: Did not change water today, will on day 52 or 53 instead. Decided it could just be the light being too close. Moved it up and did a little lst above the screen. All done removing branches and leaves. Great end to the first week of flower.

Growing well.

Still 3 plant in the tent at the moment , 2 of them are harvested and drying right now :) another should be ready for harvest this week :) I do have a plant that seems to be late compared to the other , although she is now massive compared to her sisters

The ladies are packing on beautifully and we are now giving them extra strength light during 12:00 till 14:00 slot 100% and lowering the light back down to 75% from 14:00 till 17:00 and then 50% light from 17:00 till 23:00. Lets see what happens

Week 12 complete and she's starting to fatten up a tad more. Pistils are going brown but she kicks up new white ones every morning. 80-90% clear tricomes still and as I hoped she looks like she's got another week or two to go. Slight clawing of the leaves and some brown spots but they're very few of them. I've raised the LED a couple of inches just in case of light burn. Or it may be she still has a lot of food in the coco as after checking the runoff of tds it was around 1000ppm but as it's living soil she should just take what she needs and stop when she's had enough. And I'm still just feeding her water as I'm 'flushing' her. The Symphylans are still doing their job well from the looks of her!! After researching Symphylans, they are microscopic centipede like insects that are white and they mainly eat seedling roots or decaying organic matter..so they're essentially cleaning the medium..and they stay under the soil away from the light. They can makes holes in roots for pathogens to enter her..but as she's doing so well and as it's only a week or two away from harvest I'm not going to worry about it. Week 7 – Day 51 (BT27) A quiet week for RedPure#4 – mostly just watering, observing, and removing an occasional leaf 🍃 The stretch seems to be coming to an end. Height is stable at 40 cm, and space is still manageable 😅 Her buds continue to swell and look very promising 🍇 However, the drain pH remains low at 5.7, which might explain some of the issues she’s showing. After some digging, I suspect the combination of BioBizz soil and Advanced Nutrients is the cause. BioBizz relies on microbes for pH buffering, unlike Plagron or Canna, which use dolomite lime. On top of that, I’m feeding the microbes with Bud Candy – which likely lowers the pH even further 🔬 📌 Takeaway: If you're using Advanced Nutrients, a substrate like Plagron Growmix or Canna Terra might be more compatible. With BioBizz, the pH in runoff stays constantly low despite using water with pH 6.6. RedPure remains the most sensitive strain in the tent – but also one of the most aromatic 🌸💜

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.
