Another week is complete, and there wasn’t too much happening this time around, but the plants are continuing to develop nicely. I did another round of defoliation and some additional lollipopping, taking my time to remove everything as cleanly as possible and keep the plants focused on the main flowering sites. The nutrient schedule was also adjusted to better support the plants as they move further into the bud development stage. What really stands out this week is the amount of trichome production. The flowers are getting noticeably frostier, and even some of the larger fan leaves are starting to develop a surprising amount of trichomes. That’s something I’m not used to seeing this strongly from my autoflowers, so it’s definitely interesting to watch. Overall, everything is progressing well, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how much more frost these plants can put on over the next few weeks.

Oder lieber behutsam knicken bzw runterbinden?

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

Danger! Problem. One of my top buds got so big it broke the stem. I tried to duct tape it but it didn't take. So I trimmed and started drying. Started flushing 9/10. getting close! Tricome pics everyday now

The girl's upper leaves look terrible :( I didn't manage to give her more potassium in time :( Well, the flowers bloomed really well, they are not small, and there is definitely a lot of sugar on them :) the smell is also amazing :) apart from the upper leaves, everything looks pretty good :) when I cut her, her image will change :) I think she has max 2 weeks left ;)

They got yellow leaves on the bottom but I’m going to see if it’s a deficiency of nutrients or water, anyway have already bought the nutrient NPK 15/7/5 if I remember, normal one, it’s for beginners, it’s balls that’s slowly melt. This lady is getting HUGEEEE. I see the sativa in her already. Shes starting to pre flower but I would say shes also still got a long ways to go. I'm super excited to have the experience to run this cultivar. This specific variety was special for me as I wanted a heavy sativa in an auto. I hope you guys enjoy this diary as much as I. Still in trim Jail so not sure what final weight will be . It really varies because I had too many and it was crowded. The final product is super AAA though. I will post some pictures later of some trimmed stuff. Pulled off 1.3 grams/watt I suppose that is ok.

Fo' Twenny here back with another update! I will be updating and uploading more photos through out the week. I hope you'll ride along and give me a follow! The deets: Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5 and then add .25 tsp of recharge. 8/16 - 8 days post sow. All but 2 seeds have sprouted. I was especially concerned for the Melon Gum because I only had a 2 pack and both beans were quite pale. I gently dug around in the peat pellets and found the bean with a fresh, healthy tap root! I expect she should be popping up by tomorrow evening. The other bean yet to pop is the Jenny Kush. I was gifted 5 Jenny Kush seeds, and I will wait until tomorrow to see if she sprouts a tap root before popping another one. Hopefully, I will have more luck with the next one. Successful germination in 16 of 17 photoperiod seeds. With a total of 19 of 20 if you include the 3 autoflowering cultivars running along side. They're being documented in separate diaries and will stay in the veg tent when the photoperiods are moved into the bloom room. Go check 'em out! 8/20 Update: Melon Gum has sprouted. If you're not following my Zkittlez Auto diary, you missed that I almost killed this girl on accident. Graceful me, knocked over her solo cup and she got stuck to a sticky trap. Her stem split in half and I put a piece fabric medical tape to mend her and she is actually growing and doing well regardless of her injuries. All the girls, except Jenny have sprouted and are developing. I planted a new Jenny seed 8/18 and left the original in too, just in case. Trichomes all cloudy and very frosty but not any amber's yet 17/1 chopped her today, she has been in the dark for 24 hours. She smells amazing

I find a way to feed her automaticly when I 'll be out, Every day I start the pump for 30 sec (about) to give her 2 liters of nutes with my AFS (Automatic Feeding System) D59/F15 - 29/05/23 - Automatic feeding D60/F16 - 30/05/23 - Automatic feeding D61/F17 - 31/05/23 - Automatic feeding D62/F18 - 01/06/23 - Automatic feeding D63/F19 - 02/06/23 - I'm back, Nora looks ok, automatic feeding works.
