* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry processšŸ‘ This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a weekā˜¹ļø This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every runšŸ˜‰šŸ‘ Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16ā€ hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20ā€ tall and 24ā€ wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Next update will be the harvest!! Thanks very much for taking the time to review my diary!! Sorry for running behind often on this run.........everyone has had a busy life the last couple of months in the world and its been no different here...........a huge Kudos to all the Growmieā€˜s that are able to keep up with their diaries on daily basis on GrowDiaries.......its a commitmentšŸ˜ƒšŸ‘šŸ‘ Sweet Seeds girls are very solid genetics with great vigour and resilience.......this strain is no different........great job Sweet SeedsšŸ™

Days 15 to 17, varying by plant: My journey of experimentation, aiming to refine and perfect my cannabis cultivation methods, continues. This venture’s ultimate objective is to position myself as a preeminent cannabis cultivator in my locale. As I navigate through the labyrinth of regulatory licensing, I’m conducting a trial run with my seedlings under continuous lighting conditions and a minimal nutrient regime. My primary goal during this phase is to identify any potential hiccups that could hinder the growth process and ultimately impact the productivity of my intended commercial operation. As I delve deeper into this exploratory phase, I draw invaluable insights from the thriving cannabis community, whose collective wisdom informs my decision-making process. Given my geographical location and available resources, I’ve opted for a strategic shift in my cultivation strategy. Previously, I’ve been procuring seeds at an average cost of $10 to $22 per seed, with a relatively broad success rate variance, ranging from 70% to 85%. However, an alternative presents itself in the form of local cultivators. These businesses offer cannabis plants aged between 2 to 4 weeks, boasting an impressive variety of over 100 strains. These juvenile plants are offered at a cost-effective rate: an average of $100 for eight plants. With a success rate hovering between 70% and 95%, these plants offer excellent value. Essentially, I can access pre-grown plants at a substantial discount, in turn significantly boosting my chances of success. Consequently, I am poised to transition away from growing cannabis from seeds to harvesting. By sourcing my plants from local cultivators, I stand to significantly reduce overhead and production time—an undeniably smart move from a business standpoint. This strategic pivot signifies the end of an era and the exciting beginning of a more efficient and cost-effective chapter in my cannabis cultivation journey. I am currently outlining a plan to expand my cultivation by acquiring several juvenile plants, which should be happening between July 1st and 3rd. The new additions to my garden will include Acapulco Gold, Gelato, White Truffle, and Runtz. These will be cultivated in harmony with the existing growth, which comprises God’s Gift, Northern Lights, and the final surviving F1 Epsilon. My primary objective is to establish the most efficient and cost-effective supply chain possible. I aim to achieve this through the use of an off-grid system that runs solely on solar power, which will ensure complete sustainability and renewability. From a business standpoint, this approach is advantageous as it allows me to leverage the growth of high-quality plants that are already in the cultivation phase. The new plants are expected to arrive in about a week. If the growth rate of the currently cultivated plants doesn’t meet expectations, I’ll be incorporating several of the newly arrived plants into the hydroponics systems. This methodical approach aims to ensure an optimal growth rate and the highest possible yield. I also wish to address the cannabis grower community directly. I hope that my decision to skip the seed-to-plant stage does not cause any offense. My intentions are simply focused on maximizing quality and output, while minimizing our carbon footprint. I believe this approach is in the best interest of sustainability and efficiency, without compromising on the quality that our community values so highly. As we proceed with this venture, we’re currently in the phase of collecting equipment and navigating through the licensing process. To help lower our overhead and assist with consulting fees, we would greatly appreciate any donations, especially in terms of lighting equipment. Your support in this endeavor will contribute significantly towards optimizing our operation and will be deeply appreciated. Disclaimer: Let it also be known I am completely abiding by all state laws, and do not plan on selling any of this current bud. This is for research to avoid future growing "potholes" in the growing part of the business as we have a very small team. My end goal is to help change the current stigma around cannabis and provide a useful service that can help localize and reduce the inflation on cannabis prices in socal by providing a logical supply system. Again I intend on doing all things through the legal route as there is no need to do other wise given the laws on personal use and growing.

I skipped a week sorry y’all! Anyways man this blueberry muffin is a masterpiece… I think next year I will be growing this baby In a 20gallon pot want to be able to stock up lol.. she has loved everything I’ve given her and I think she could take more if I have it but she doing just fine so no need to add more to her. Starting to smell yummy definitely not a typical cannabis smell it’s very pleasant ( although there is nothing like the smell of some skunk! ) and the buds are filling out very good. After checking out a few post on her I haven’t seen any massive buds but some small perfect ones so maybe I’ll get some them heavy colas. But anyways still Dealing with spider mites but they’ve slowed down a lot still every now and then hitting them with keen oil when I start to see them pop up. Probably going to be removing heavy grow nutes and blast more bloom and boosters. Anyways thanks for checking me out I know I ramble Peace, love and grow my friends!

Day 130 / Week 8 of flowering: @ this point can clearly identify 3 different phenotypes in this grow.. one of them; plant #1 and #3 seem to be both pretty similar also regarding their maturation, they are about a week behind the other two plants. Plants #2 and #4 are both looking like they will get ready next week or so.. i have already flushed those two ladies. Still there is a huge difference in plant and bud structure and when i touch them i can identify two completely different terpene profiles. Plant #2 was always the smallest of the pack, very bushy, somehow i didn't like her as much as the others.. but i had that feeling that that could change at any time..and so it came that she turned out to be my favorite. As soon as she was starting fo flower i could see her real potential, the buds she is carring are just how i like them to be and the smell she gives off is citric skunky. Plant #3 on the other hand has a sweet berry flavour combined with the stinch of a stinkbug. Day 132 / Week 8 of flowering: Today i flushed plants #1 and # 3 withe 20l water each. I removed two buds that had bud rot Day 134 / Week 8 of Flowering: Today i cut down plant #4 that was several days ahead of all the others, she's been flushed and has been drying out since, she was literally drying, not only the soil. The harvest looks pretty decent, i will update as soon as i have the dry weight and now.some more.about flavours and high of the plant. The remaining 3 plants received 2l of water each, just to hold on for a few more days..next plant to come down is plant #2, the other two can take about a week longer judging by the big amount of pistils that are still white (around 70%).

Good day. From this week my DO SI DOS starts the flowering. Look at the branches- very strong and fully covered with flowers. I defoliate the plant each 3rd day. Very healthy and strong genetic. And there are no smell yet. The plant like to drink a lot - the most dry plant everytime I open my small tent.:) I will add some PK from next week to help progress the flowering.

Auto Maxi Gom is growing well this last week. She has moved more into a preflowering phase. Looks like she is getting ready to start stretching. She is looking really healthy. I am just a little on the heavy side for feeding. I am switching her to bloom nutrition on her next feeding. So I will have to guess the strength since this is the first time using Xpert in blooming. Vegging was about half the recommended dose as the chart listed for a coco grow. Everything is going really good. Thank you Xpert Nutrients, Seeds Mafia, and Medic Grow. šŸ¤œšŸ»šŸ¤›šŸ»šŸŒ±šŸŒ±šŸŒ± Thank you grow diaries community for the šŸ‘‡likesšŸ‘‡, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channelšŸ‘‡. ā„ļøšŸŒ±šŸ» Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

🌸 Week 5 Flower – RollerCoaster Haze 🌸 The RollerCoaster Haze girls are thriving in mid-flower, building structure and stacking buds at an incredible pace. Both phenos are stretching into the canopy with strength, white pistils everywhere, and flower sites developing beautifully. The plants are balanced, vibrant, and showing no signs of stress, just healthy, determined growth. šŸ’§ Nutrition & Feeding This week we’ve adjusted the recipe, stopping the All-in-One Liquid completely as the soil and pellets still provide plenty of slow-release nutrition. The focus now is on a lean, targeted bloom feed, keeping the roots active without oversaturating. Current recipe (all at 1ml/L): • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Plagron Green Sensation • Plagron Sugar Royal • Plagron Power Buds Solution runs steady at pH 6.0–6.1 with EC balanced to complement the soil’s reserves. The results speak for themselves: stalks, roots, and leaves are thriving, and the flowers are coming on strong. Environment • Soil Temp: ~24°C • Room Temp: ~28–29°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa Airflow, extraction, and monitoring keep the conditions stable. Despite the size of these girls, they’re handling the environment perfectly. šŸ’” Inner Canopy Lighting – ICL300 This week I want to highlight the role of the ICL300 inner canopy lights. These lights are designed to deliver light where traditional overhead fixtures can’t: deep inside the canopy. Why does this matter? • As plants stretch and leaves overlap, the lower branches and bud sites often receive far less light. Without supplemental lighting, these inner flowers stay smaller, less dense, and less developed. • Inner canopy lights like the ICL300 solve this by pushing photons directly into those shaded areas, ensuring the lower and middle buds get the energy they need to bulk up. Spectrum: The ICL300 units provide a balanced white spectrum with a red push, tailored to maximize flowering response while avoiding heat stress. This means not only are the tops getting stacked, the inner and lower flowers are also swelling, making for a more even, consistent harvest. The difference is visible already: the RollerCoaster Haze girls aren’t just top-heavy. The mid-canopy sites are developing beautifully, with structure filling out in layers instead of just one dominant top. 🌼 Pistils: White Hairs Everywhere At Week 5, pistils (the fine white hairs that emerge from each calyx) are one of the clearest signs of flower development. They serve two major purposes: • Reproduction: pistils are part of the female flower’s reproductive system, designed to catch pollen if it’s present. • Growth indicator: the color, abundance, and orientation of pistils give us a direct look into the maturity of the flower. Some genetics push out bright white pistils, while others lean slightly toward cream, yellowish, or even orange tones earlier in bloom. This variation is completely normal and tied to the plant’s lineage. At this stage, the RollerCoaster Haze girls are full of vigorous white pistils, standing tall and reaching outwards. This shows they are actively building flowers and pushing energy into new calyx formation. It’s also a reminder that this week is about observation: watching how the pistils evolve will tell us not only about maturity, but also about how each pheno expresses itself. Later on, pistils will darken and curl inward as the calyxes swell, but right now, their abundance and brightness are a clear signal of healthy, strong flowering. 🌱 Observations • Bud sites are stacking with strong pistil production. • Inner canopy looks healthy and productive thanks to the ICL300. • Plants remain lush, green, and full of energy. • Root systems are still vigorous, visible at the soil surface. ✨ Reflection Week 5 Flower shows how balance in nutrition, environment, and lighting can work together to create truly explosive growth. By dialing in the recipe, highlighting pistil development, and introducing inner canopy lighting, we’re not only supporting the tops but ensuring that every bud site gets its chance to shine. The RollerCoaster ride continues, and these girls are carrying us higher every week. šŸ“² Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Last week of Ozz! I’m getting some nice trichromes. Surprisingly, she doesn’t smell much, but she’s still beautiful. She also has the best ratio of buds to leaves out of the three plants of the same strain. I’ll start trimming Dorel by Friday and #4 this weekend to free some space. Then it’ll be Ozz’s turn on Sunday or Monday. The relative humidity levels are getting dangerously high, but the temperatures are still fine until next week. Since she’s covered, I have good hopes she’ll hold. No additional bud has rotted since two weeks ago :))

Well after a miscalculation on the feeding weeks I am back on track. I gave them a drink of PH 6.2 water on the 15th I will feed them this week with another Bloom, Humic Acid and Big Fruits I will increase them by 2 ml per gallon. I am out of the PK booster and should have enough of the other Green Buzz Nutrients to last the grow. They seem to be responding well to the feedings. I might have a little nutrient burn on some of the sugar leaves. Over all autos that don't get very big, the PPM level I have been giving them might be a little high. so one more week of feeding after this 1/25 last food before the 2week flush with Clean Fruits from Green Buzz Nutrients. something similar to a flawless finish I am guessing. till next week Roll Bigger Joints.😺

I am excited to try out this new gorilla cookies from fastbuds. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97Ā¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.
