Main Stage: Flower Tent (Week 6 / Day 42) 🎪✨ Genetics & Reifestatus: High Society and Zupernova are rounding third base in Week 6. The frost is getting downright aggressive—trichomes are looking like a fresh layer of morning snow, and those pistils are turning a nice, crisp orange-brown. Most trichomes are milky, with just a few clear ones holding out. Canopy & The Great Flush: Thanks to an accidental "extreme flush" courtesy of a moody irrigation controller, the substrate is stripped clean of salts (soil EC sitting at a squeaky 0.09 – 0.10 mS/cm). The upper fan leaves are showing that glorious autumn fade as the plants eat their own reserves. From Week 7 onward, it’s pure, pH-adjusted water all the way to the finish line! Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. This week I assembled the new 48x48x80 Mars Hydro tent and installed the new FOHSE Aries 600W LED light. I set the dim to 75%, but after two days, it was clearly too much, especially for 20 hours per day. I will dim it way down and shorten the hours until the plants appear to be doing better.

What a stretch from the last week, week and a half... Both of the gelato and forbidden runtz are 3 feet tall!! The vigor and structure look great, I let these 2 go as a normal plant with no training and they have proven themselves to be great plants.

Our Zamnesia Jet Fuel has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but now we're there, a few days and they go into flowering. The Topping worked well the plant went a bit into over fertilization because during repeated topping the plant has much less need of nitrogen and it's magic to get there by fading the fertilizers especially with many plants. The ideal when doing topping is probably to start with a slow-release fertilized soil or just start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. Day 50 to 56 Tuesday Day 50 Still on the half bloom from yesterday. Almost done stretch. Balanced the canopy. Lights are 12-14" from the lights at 450w which is ~700 umol. Seeing little rust spots. I think it's Cal def? Added magnifical up to 920ppm. D51: I believe I have been hitting too hard with nutes :) added water to res and back down to 720ppm. Got advice that I'm probably dealing with PK overdose and it adds up. D52 Problem is no longer progressing as quickly, however still some signs. D53 Res nearly empty. Added water down to 350ppm till empty. D54 Problem appears to be better but still feeding slow. 🤑. D55 Flushed the solo cup. Refed at 500ppm full bloom. Fed rest at 500ppm full bloom. D56 Another quick day at 500ppm and tomorrow I'll bump to 650ppm.

Been fighting Ph so I went back to using mykochorizae in the reservoir and the Ph is back under control. Also added another 2000 watt light.

Flipped to 12-12 at just under 7 week mark as I ran out of canopy space. Plants are growing beautifully no issues thus far. Began using compost tea as well as a mostly clover based cover crop. Rotating plants daily to get even growth of tops that might be crowded.

We are now on day 15 of veggie growing. The 5 that were first in the final pots have developed well. The other 4 that came later are a bit behind but that will definitely change. In 14 days the plants will be switched to flowering. I am excited.

Start of week 8 (day 50). Started the week off with a little recharge&water. I had to rig up some branch supports to compensate for compounding nugs. I'm pretty sure a pack of papers is a standard measurement? I've been struggling to get out of bed from knee pain (awaiting my 3rd surgery). And really not sleeping at all.
