Week 9 - Venom OG and an unknown seed strain. Tap water and Espoma Bloom full dose - 12hr light schedule

Starting off week 9 and I'm impatient! This plant has been amazing since day 1. Came out super weird colored and finishing off with this beautiful purple! Will be growing this strain again for sure

Chopped on Day 70 (September 6th, 2020) 9/6/20: Hung her to dry after taking off most of her fan leaves. I decided to hang the whole plant this time around to see if it helps my dry quality. Will update with pictures soon. 9/12/20: Trimmed her up today after feeling that the nugs were crispy and dry. First couple days of dry we were experiencing a bit of a heat wave and high humidity levels (fluctuating from 60-75%). During the final days of drying we had rain and then it cooled off and dried out lowering my rh in the tent to around 50%. That crisped the nugs right up in 2 days and I decided it was time to pull her out and trim her up. The nugs were so incredibly sticky and smelled of chem. They are really dense despite their look especially the main cola nugs. Still smelling a bit like hay but I'm confident that the curing process will take care of that. I am curing with Boveda 58% rh packs in each jar and a hydrometer as well. Not going to test a nug until at least a week or two of curing or until I run out of Sour Crack lol. Will update with a smoke report. 9/28/20: So it's been just over 2 weeks of curing so far. When I first put the nugs in the jar, I was worried they were a bit too dry/crispy for what I was hoping for, but after 2 weeks of curing the nugs aren't as crackly sounding in my hands. I cured with Boveda 58% rh packs and mason jars as seen in the pictures. **SMOKE REPORT** 9/28/20 - 2 weeks of curing: The smell of this strain is a really unique one, or maybe the pheno that I got is. It smells fruity for sure but it has this gas smell to it that almost smells chemical but in a good way. I marked down tropical above because the combo of pungent fruit almost brings out a sweet cocktail aroma. After really thinking about it, I've never smelled weed with a scent quite like this one! The smoke was smooth in my freshly cleaned bong and I'm decently high. I feel pretty tired but I'm ready to do something like game or make music. I don't feel hungry (yet) but my throat is begging for a drink. I'm happy that I have now smoked my own home grown weed twice!

Zu Absicherung unseres Keimprozesses haben wir einen Vergleichssamen unter gleichen Bedingungen mitgezogen, nur um zu schauen ob ein Systematischer Fehler vorliegt. Dieser hat jedoch schon die Erde durchbrochen und aktive Keimblätter. Am Vorgang kann es somit nicht liegen: Temp. konst. 25°C Luftfeuchte ca. 75- 80° mit Osmesewasser durchgezogener Easyplug. Öffnung im Plug zuvor großzügig aufgelockert. Wir warten ab so lange muss die wenige hübsche Pflanze als Model hinhalten. Evt. bekrabbelt sie sich ja noch. An Tag 6 wurde der Samen mal etwas freigegraben er ist zumindest gekeimt ein Stück gewachsen. Wir warten mal noch ab ob er noch weiter wachsen will. Tag 7 Nr 2 Um Feuchtigkeitsschwankungen gering zuhalten wurde sie in den größeren Cube gesetzt, um Algenbildung wie bei Nr.1 entstanden zu vermeiden, wurde mit Kokos gemulcht.

First week went perfect plants sprouted right on time and reacted really well to transplant

She’s looking nice looking healthy, drying up once every 2 days so she’s starting to drink, I just hope she doesn’t stretch too much as she’s already the tallest in there. Got some nice purple on the buds from the cold nights. Let’s hope she can get nice a fat 🌱🐞🤙

Smell Increased a lot this week and got that real sticky-icky-ickyness to the touch now it’s like glue :) and smells fire… So fruity and sweet took a few more fans off possibly almost all apart from a few lol got a bit aggressive with her so she paid me back by giving me hives or whatever the bumps on my arms I always get are haha 😂 but yeah to allow the lighter green lower bits to get a little More light for the last few weeks 💚🔥💪

WEEK 10 - FLOWERING: Tropical Maturation ​🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS We are now in the 10th week (6th week of flowering), and the Papayton is showing impressive development. The buds are visibly gaining weight and density every day. The resin production is in full swing, covering the flowers in a thick, sticky layer of crystals. It’s great to see how the plant is putting all its energy into the final flower formation. ❄️ ​👃 TERPENES & AROMA The tropical scent is becoming much more defined this week. There is a strong, sweet papaya aroma that dominates the tent, perfectly complemented by a creamy finish. The Top-Max is clearly doing its job in bringing out these exotic fruit notes as the plant matures. 🍦 ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING The feeding schedule remains at a high level to provide all the necessary building blocks for the final ripening process. 📆 Semana 8 El cultivo está terminando de engordar y entrando en fase de maduración, con la planta centrando toda su energía en rematar las flores. Los cogollos alcanzan una gran compactación y peso, mientras la resina cubre intensamente flores y hojas cercanas. El aroma del armario se vuelve más profundo y marcado, con notas dulces y cremosas bien definidas. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!
