week 2 veg official lol we have arrived here safely and the babies are looking real good. No topping or any kind of defoliation will take place, we will only be taking off lower branches and leaves as the plants grow skywards trying to keep branching as close to the stem as possible. It's getting exciting lol

Alright Growmies!! So this Purple Ice Water is a bag seed I got from an amazing strain i had and was lucky enough to find hidden gem inside one if the beautiful nugs!! I think I have a photo in my Google photos I'll look for a picture of the flower the seed came from!! Anyway, I was going to enter the 16oz solo cup challenge but I didn't realize time was running out and so i had already planted the seed by then and of course she popped and I grow attached to them when that happens so here we are!! Not to mention, this is my first indoor grow and so I'm not thinking or planning as I should be and so guess what problem I ran into next...well my tent was now in flower so lights were kn 12/12...so 3 days into the new seed I planted, i need more hours of light for her and so you'll see my solution in the photo or video..my lady thought it was hilarious when she walked into the bathroom to get ready in the morning and a baby cannabis plant was handing from the light fixture lmao!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is only temporary fix and she is only hanging up there for a few hours then I place her back into the tent to give her that much needed light!! I could always do the window trick but hey this was too fun!! 1st week is going amazing, as it can go lmao!! Between day 5 and 6 I added some rain water. It rained for almost 3 days straight here in Arizona so it was nice to be able to capture some rain water for my girls for once! Those days are few and far between unfortunately!!

Day 28 Flowering: Good afternoon growmies. I hope we are all well and sane while this world silliness plays out. Here we are at the fun side of growing again. The stretch is well finished and they are now beginning to stack the colas on their long stems. Six-shooter has remained fairly small and is not a very attractive looking girl at all. lol A bit like the spotty teen about to emerge the butterfly I am hoping !.. She is a really odd looking girl with a scruffy appearance even after a little defol. She looked underwatered in veg a few times too but was not the case. She has a really sticky build up of resin already and smells quite strong of urine.lol I think she will be a late bloomer but not dissapointing. Strawberry Pie is looking huge and lanky now her stretch has done. Her node lengths are a little wider than I had hoped but I get the impression she will still join them up for some very long colas. Her trich build up has started already and is very productive too. Sticky fingers that smell of sweet fruity candy at the moment. She is around a foot tall with lots of room to swell and get air around her frame too. Mexican Airline is the star of the bunch right now, she is huge already. Her bud stacking is really beginning to take form and with the size and amount of them, she will be a great yielder. She has filled her space nicely now and will benefit once I harvest some other the other plants i have running. The potential for the two bigger ladies to gain plenty of size is certainly there and without me doing the l.s.t early on in veg , I think they would be very tall plants . The attempt i made to try to tie the 5th node up while the others caught up was beaten by her determination to keep growing it and even after I totally bent and created a knuckle to again try to hold her down , she powered herself through and carried on with her plans for the flowering cycle.... It did help to create a nice crown of Buds though which should fill our rje whole structure of her. Feeding every 2 days and showing no issues to worry about besides a slight tip burn which is down to the pk warrior strength. A decrease in dilution will sort this quickly. The Fungus gnats are now under total control , by this I don't meant have started training them to do aerial displays like the "Red Arrows" or fly patrols of the grow room but that they are no longer an issue. Still the odd one of two to keep mindful of but the sticky traps are a help too. So there we have it for this update. All going well and the harvest date is not so far away now.. Be well and safe.

One was more bushy and was a little behind. As I said, they had some heat stress and I think the 15-liter pots are too small when the environment is hotter. Still, they are totally worth growing and joy to smoke. They don't need much curing and the weed is very very strong. Going to try this strain again very soon!!

I'm on week 4 I've been keeping it light on nutes. I've noticed slow growth it seems compared to others in week 4. Also I think my plants are stretching they are skinny but the stem is beginning to get thick. I wanted to LST but I don't think they are strong enough yet. Any insight as to why they may be growing this way would be appreciated!

The plant is ready to flower. I covered the soil with inputs and did a little defoliation. It is developing well. I needed to do supercropping to match the height with the other plants in the grow.

The start of the week is going well.Did some defoliation. Added a scrog net. I removed the scrog the next day, might use it if the buds need support. There’s no way to add the rabbit poo to the nutrients accurately all I did was top dress the soil with a few scoops and worked it in the soil lightly. Water with distilled water.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! This week has been amazing. I did some defoliation since last week but you can hardly tell. She has been taking the 3.0 EC real well I thought I definitely had hermed it but damn if she isn’t resilient. I e noticed she drinks 6gal rn I feel that’s gonna ramp up these last coming weeks. This Autopot system has really changed everything I don’t got to worry about any timers or anything just check my ph and that’s it. Drip hydro was kind enough to let us test out the nutrients so shout out to them. See you all guys next week.

2/1 Week 12! Re-introducing the Peak PK in low dose as I begin to migrate the plant to all Peak and then flush I hope all in less than two weeks. Will step things daily, tomorrow it will be 10 ml CT 10 ml Peak with an eye on the ppm. You get the idea, she has to finish and fast. Valuable lesson, don't have anything ever backed up behind a sativa grow waiting on them to finish, it aint worth it. Grow em at the end of a cycle. 2/2 put the feed at 12ml CT 7ml Peak thought maybe its too much of a swing, tomorrow 10 and 10 2/3 10ml of each this morning. Got to move things along, new plan is to begin flush at start of new week this weekend, At flush changing lights to 12/12 , binding her back up just a little, then placing one of the testers on a stand in the tent to take pressure off the veg tent. 5-7 days later we harvest based on what we see. We cannot come up with anything better As far as growth she is doing great, its a heavy plant and the hairs are still straight and 95% white! Build so fast 2/4 All is well Tara really seems to like the 10-10 dose so leaving it for now. Changed light schedule to match the veg tent. This is to accommodate the near arrival of one of the photos. In a few days the plant will have to finish off at 12-12 so the photo can flip. Not ideal but practical from our point of view. Keeping our hopes up here and uttering my characteristic prayer... Please God dont let me foul this up... Amen 2/5 Feeding as before Had to bind her up a bit, she is so heavy we were afraid of her toppling over. Seriously this plant is TOP HEAVY. Which is good I guess 😬 Not flushing till I see it is time, not messing this one up. Dont get plants like this everyday. 2/7 Ending the week with a full tent again Switched lights to 12-12 and bound her up to fit in half the tent, we literally could not come up with anything else for this. She just keeps going and going lol DRY WEIGHT ON RIPLEY! 261 grams Hoped for more but meh sativas. Still nothing to sneeze at 😇

Been a good week, buds are ripening well. i have actually harvested the Candy Kush 2 this morning, will add another week for tha that harvest in a bit. Candy Kush 1 looks like she is ready, I think I will harvest her this tomorrow. Forgot to take a picture of the bubble kush, just the trichomes :) I think it needs another couple weeks, so does the fastberry. I am going to stop feeding this week and just water them. Sugar Mama will still get the regular feed.

As autumn approached, the number of daylight hours in the jungle slowly began to decrease. First to 16, two days later to 14 and at the end of the week 12. We let the girls rest and didn't have much to do apart from getting an even canopy under the screen.👨🏻‍🌾🌱 One plant showed some magnesium deficiency so gave her an Epsom salt cure. The nutrient manufacturer said that the product contains enough magnesium but apparently one of the girls didn’t find it sufficient. On day 3 watered them with de-chlorinated tap water and Silica, 3 litres. Day7 the first irrigation with Hybrid nutrients has been given, 5 litres each. I’m curious how this line will perform during flowering.💦 Running the Ts3000 on 75% , which means 520-620 PPFD. Vpd: 0,88-1,10 kpa. See you soon and thanks for stopping by.💨🌞
