Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

8/10 - In prep for flower I've got some Compost Tea brewing with a little Terp Tea Bloom by Roots Organics. .Also did a little selective defoliation 8/11 - Flipped the ladies to flower today! And all is good in the 8x4. 8/12 - Watered all the ladies with the Compost/Terp Tea. Also did some more defoliation and added some mosquito bits for added pest prevention.

Week 7 – Lemon OG in full swing 🍋🔥 We’ve entered week 7 and things are moving strong! Buds are stacking up nicely and getting chunkier by the day. Pistils are bright and reaching, trichomes are beginning to pop – this run smells like success already. There’s one girl in the back-middle acting a bit dramatic – some light potassium-related signs showing up. Could be linked to CalMag interactions, but nothing alarming. Keeping an eye on her, but overall everyone looks green and thriving. I’m seeing a healthy nitrogen fade on some leaves – exactly what I want at this stage. Lights are cranked to full power (480W total) and the girls are taking it like champs. Not a single sign of stress – just hungry green machines turning photons into fat nuggets. Climate’s locked in nicely too. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 94. Switched to begin flushing. Two plants at about 50% cloudy 50% clear, two others 80% clear. One weirdo one I didn't bother looking at. Still trucking along. Hoping to chop soon- started some GDPxOG, Gorilla Girl, and Chemdog (all photos) that are sitting in the understory. Smell is okay, sweet but nothing to write home about. First cut plant one needs time to cure. Second chopped plants are going through dry trim process. Looks like I can remove them from the stems tomorrow given today's test. Excited to see where they land in weight

Pulled 8 7-9g colas on the first struggler, well short of my qp per-plant goal. Ill increase my plant and yield count as I pull the rest. Still have 2 more plants that ahve gone another week and didnt miss the feed this one did. Hopefully we still get at least ~10oz from this run :(

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

24/02: Colas again have become real heavy in places and have had to strap them together to prevent the stalks from falling and snapping. Over all blooming well have been on maximum dose of nutrients now for a few weeks. lots of orange hairs. water now for a week and then to harvest. the topping in this grow really paid off.
