Gelato #2 has gotten so big that I'm afraid of burning the tips. Gelato #1 is already developin' beautiful round dense buds covered with trichomes.

So that's my first ever grow completed! And something tells me i don't think it will be the last 😁🤔 overall I am proud as punch with the end result. Overall from 7 plants I ended up with 5 1/2 oz dry, top buds seem to be more compact and built up, apart from that the majority 70-80% are very airy, however absolutely packed with thc shining! Being my first grow its all for personal use so i dont mind 😁😊 any suggestions moving forward for future increase in fatter/denser nugs would be appreicated. I ran 2 x 600 watt cheap led lights, which im 100% certain dimmed towards the last 3 weeks (the brightness dramatically reduced) making me think that a few leds burnt out throughout - I think moving forward i would look into better spec grow light. Found these girls very easy to grow, very forgiving for anything i done wrong being my first experience. The plants grew all different shapes and sizes I done some lst rather late into the grow which I think give some funky growth shapes, in the end all grew out with loads of bud locations all over. Really wish I had given more space for light penetration. I ran 6 fabric pots and 1 plastic, I felt the ladie in the plastic pot took off much quicker than the rest and on cutting down seemed to have the best root setup, anyone else have an opinion on what they find best? The smells and taste are very very fruity and cirtusy/lemon, smoke nice head high still curing will update with full smoke report in a week or so! Towards the last 3 weeks or so the smell from the plants was strong and very fruity, would reccomend a carbon filter if trying to stay down low. Used all my trim and alot of of the pop corn nugs for butter so nothing went to waste currently making a huge batch for some tastey treats. Would love another blast at growing these ladies, learnt alot throughout and will take the knowledge to future grows! Week 3 of Flower (Day 15-21) Should be the last days of stretch. Hopefully, because the height is limited and i do not want to rethink the top of my growtent. Beautiful flower development and i have had no problems in flower so far. I will turn the nutes up a bit, as they have not complained so far. Furthermore, i will lollipop or make a major defoliation when stretch is done, in order to deal with temp and humidity. 9/11 Week 22 Looking better seem to have closed the Phos hole in my nuets, in the future pots will be amended with it from the start. 9/13 Weather degrading (heh relative term) plan to harvest Poly on next spat of "good" weather, Zona couple of weeks tops. Poly water only but there is plenty of nuets in that pot. 9/14 No decent sun today at all, high humidity forecast is saying it just gets worse from here (heh like those guys know) but if true I need to harvest poly ahead of it which may mean tomorrow. Decide then see if forecasts change. Next year things will be different damit 9/15 Day 146 of the grow and Poly's last day Weather is entirely the reason for taking her a bit early, wanted to prep her a bit more but thats life in the outdoors. She has a beautiful day for her last, she was never any trouble and grew well, I am glad to have grown her, she is a good girl. (I’m starting to try timelapsed videos of growth so lmk what you think) So I’ve added a little lst to #1(the one I topped) just to capitalize on it I guess. But they’re all doing really well at the end of week 4. I’m trying to get better with photos and documenting so bare with me but as for #3, I’m really impressed with how fast she’s gotten bushy and with how she’s taken to lst. I’m doing different things to different plants to see what I like and what works for me. #4 is my control and I’ve done nothing but water and feed and honestly, she’s still doing just fine 💪🏻

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Day 42: Starting off Week 6 and this lady is doing awesome. I am however finding discoloration on fan leaves and I am thinking it came from the SledgeHammer flush I did. But going into the 2nd week of flower I truly couldn't be happier with the progress. She is growing well enough you can see the changes daily.. Truly an awesome strain 😎.. 12/28 More and more stacking each day.. this lady is really swelling up and she has such beautiful thick white hairs coming out right now just looking super healthy.. Finally got some of that Recharge powder 🙌 gonna start that on next watering and see how she takes to that. Will update again soon but until then stay lit growmies

This weeks update is just basically a photo/video dump! At the start of the week I did some lst and a tiny bit of defoliating and the growth just seemed to burst, I noticed they seemed to began to flower! So I went ahead and introduced the net to the set up and the I’m stoked with the way they filled this tent right out!! These cream manderin are truly fast growing buds. I also started adding Big Buds Liquid to the feeding schedule and so far, so good. At this point I’ll just be uploading photos every Tuesday/Wednesday 🤙🏻🤙🏻

6/28/25 Transplanted into 3 gallon pot amended with dr earth 463 at 10 ml per gallon of soil and a couple handfuls of homemade worm castings. added mykos to the transplant hole for the roots. The roots on the black opium look really really nice and

Week 9 of flower. I feel this last week or two the plants really bulked up. I’ve been set back paying for this grow op and this run has really tested my patience, but this week makes up for all of that. The smell is incredible, and I’m happy to finally make it here. I’m getting a little overgrowth with the heat of the light but nothing crazy. I’m just flushing now and checking runoff ppm. Thank you to everyone staying tuned in :) we’re almost there!
