We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... Went on a ski trip didn’t get to upload last week. Flipped Pineapple Express Pheno 3 today so it got 77 days of veg compared to all the others that got 60 days of veg.

Flowering Day 63 As I mentioned last week, I have to harvest today because I'm going on vacation for a week tomorrow, and I don't want the rest of the buds to start molding. I had to cut off about five thick buds within a week. I didn't find any more moldy buds when harvesting. The flowers of the three phenos looking beautiful and all different. I'm curious to see how they smell after drying. At the moment, they smell very pine and floral. Update and conclusion follow soon.

OK lots of excitement this week. I could stand by and watch no longer something had to be done, but what? Let's turn to the strange leaf problem first. Copper necrotic spots. WTF could this be, it's nothing to do with nutrients or pH that I'm pretty confident. Maybe it's just normal leaf dying. Whatever. I've supplied some photos where you can see a pattern of concentric rings. This tends to make it look more like some sort of mosaic virus, however if that were the case it would be everywhere. It looks like something was spilled on the plant but that did not happen. I don't deem this a problem at all but it's very very puzzling. Anyway after mulling the situation it seemed like it was about time this giant leaves were gone. So all the giagantic huge chunky leaves were removed. I figured whatever they are making there's plenty more healthy leaves to carry on the work. Plus I think it induces some shock to the plant. It will definitely shift hormones around but what effect that has I don't know. It looks like I've done a lot of work on this plant but I haven't really, just trying to see what she wants to do. So all that's happened is the first two branches that come out with the first baby leaves have been removed all other branches have developed normally. Then the four branches from the first two growing nodes have been pinned down to give the plant a bit of space. Edit: I've just pinned the lowest branches back a bit more and removed any fan leaves around the top as there seems to be plenty around.

Diese Woche musste ich am Ball bleiben, ein krasser Stretch machte ein fast tägliches LST und eine dezente Entlaubung notwendig. Um einen schönen Ertag für zwei zu generieren, habe ich mich aufgrund der Lage unseres Balkons entschieden, alle Pflanzen kräftig runterzubinden. Zwei Ziele habe ich dabei verfolgt. Zum Einen haben wir hier maximal sieben Stunden mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Durch LST erhoffe ich mir eine gleichmäßige Blütenbildung und Konzentration von Terpenen. Zum Anderen liegen wir mit unserem Balkon mitten im Dorfzentrum mit regem „Publikumsverkehr“. Das deutsche Cannabis Gesetz sieht vor, dass der Anbau nicht öffentlich einsehbar sein darf. Ohne das herunter Binden könnte man die Damen allerdings sehen. Die Anordnung der Pflanzen ist auch so vorgenommen worden, das sich eine Art Sonnenfalle bildet. Jede Pflanze und insbesondere die Blüten bekommen das maximal Mögliche an Sonneneinstrahlung. 🌞 Gegossen wird nun morgens und abends nach Gefühl. Purple Punch Auto fühlt sich ganz wohl hier. Die Vorblüte sieht vielversprechend aus.

They got a nice new cabinet with lights and environment dialed just for veg. -Built a nice Veg/Dry cabinet from scrap. Pretty damn happy with myself...not gonna lie. 😅 I decided to just dive right in with some solid plant shaping. Still pushing slower than my previous run...but these 2 can take some serious LST with a good nutrient load. Impressive how fast they look back to that light. So far the organic run is performing better; how ever I didn't scorch the tits off these girls with a massive LED hammer when they were 14 minutes old either, so there's that. 😂😶 I'll have a true comparison of Organic Home Brew Ferts v Store Bought Ferts with the same strain here this winter...get actual data. Also: CannaBudget Studios was built with an old broken tri-pod / usb strip lights / old black sheet...and electrical tape. Yeeee. Time to go work on the farm. D15 - 9.27 - Cruising along, just watering them once a day D16 - 9.28 - I planted carrots and transplanted the rest of the seedlings. They are all in the same space. That one LA Sunset never really started to thrive, but I'll keep it for now. D18 - 9.30 - I topped my first plant for mainlining. I picked the strongest FWW with the most growth tip at the 3rd node and just went for it. She may be a little young, so I left her fan leaves for support. I've decided to do 3 groups of two for this grow, in an attempt to experience how these different strains respond to different techniques - Pair 1 will be mainlined with 8 mains, Pair 2 will be mainlined with 4 mains and Par 3 will not be mainlined but traditionally topped to 4 mains. D19 - 10.1 - Topped the first Black Sugar for mainlining. Her growth tips are really nice looking. D20 - 10.2 - Have them all topped 👌
