Hello. It 35 c. in the greenhouse today with 5 fans running. Stinkin hot in there. I hope the heat doesn't melt my THC crystals. It's suppose to be as warm tomorrow too. > I have not seen any powdery mildew on either Amnesia Lemon this year. >I have started my 2nd flush today. I' try for 4. But might have to cut a little earlier because>>> > AAHHH, I found a small patch of spider mites on the Amnesia Lemon. I only have a week to go so I decided to turn up the fans instead of spray. Yes they will progress, but slowly and they cant spin their webs in the wind, so it slows them down. And I don't mind smokin dried spider mites (isn't it extra protein). I'm blaming the house behind me, I looked through the fence and they have about 12 large pots growing cannabis, imagine that. >Starting to get some color on the Burmberry and the Sister Amnesia Lemon looks ready to be cut down. > I'll take some more pictures just before harvest and during and after. It took me 2 days to cut it down last year. I wet trim. I grew Dr. Green Thumb seeds Big Laughing last year. They made decent buds but they were not very strong, disappointed. Thought I'd try some stuff that did well inside and see what they did in the greenhouse. These plants were taken as clones, near the start of the year 2020. I moved them in the greenhouse when it was warm enough and did some training then. I started to flower them at the end of May. The tent worked great at forcing flowering at the brightest time of the year. Less chance of problems then trying to flush on a cold October day. I hope I helped makes it clearer in what I'm doing. Chuck.

Great growth! It’s incredible how much faster they grow in hydro systems! Everything’s looking good Not changing res yet as the roots just started getting full into the water so I’ll give them another week to drink up what’s in there and then change with stronger nutes. PHperfect seems to be working well Keeping it around 6.0ph Got my chiller setup but made the ph jump a bit so may have to keep an eye on that.

9/14 Week 9 and she is doing fine Little vid she is front rt Nuets not changing for now 9/16 Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5 Extra space is really doing them well Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun 9/17 Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day. Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Lights be out from 7:30AM to 6AM long I know but should not bother them. 9/19 Lights on girls feed buds look fine Video enjoy

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is measured in decisions, not dreams. Dopamine release is not the pursuit of happiness; it's the happiness of the pursuit. "Mens Dei" Cannabis buds can expand or swell in warmer conditions, but this is not necessarily a desirable effect. High temperatures can cause the buds to become airy and loose, reducing their density and potentially impacting potency and aroma. First 4 weeks flower, blazing hot expansion of buds, 4 weeks after cool off? Why?? What can be made to expand, airy and loose, can also be made to contract, dense and tight. Why? Trichomes do not discriminate, although we like to think of trichomes' primary purpose as being to get us high; they are there to provide photoprotection (sunscreen). Trichomes apply themselves based on area dimensions; the more area = the more trichomes in order to protect. Different from density: Trichomes, the resinous glands on plants, are often produced in response to stress, including high light intensity. This increased production can lead to denser trichome coverage on the plant, stress, stress, stress, stress is the signal. There is a certain beauty in watching the large water-filled buds once swollen to the brim slowly shrink during drying, as the surface areas contract, the trichomes just cluster up to form denser and denser coatings, already dense from high light intensities, UVB exposure, and IPS, and every other stressor I could tweak. Trichomes, the resinous glands on cannabis plants, are often produced in response to various forms of stress. These stresses can be environmental, like excess light(HIL) or UV-B radiation, temperature fluctuations, or drought, or mechanical, such as wind, pruning, or even the weight of the plant's own buds. The plant reacts to these stressors by increasing trichome production as a defensive mechanism to protect itself and its valuable compounds like THC and CBD. In essence, cannabis plants perceive stress as a threat and respond by producing more trichomes as a way to protect themselves and their valuable compounds. Several studies have shown this. Not so much a "master" grower as a master of stress. Psssst. Tip. Trichomes fill with "antioxidants," including THC. Ant"ox"idants, The production of antioxidants in plants is intricately linked to their oxidative apparatus. The plant has limited oxidative capacity/apparatus. During daytime photosynthesis, a large percentage of that oxidative capacity is tied up in protecting the plant. During the night, plants alter their metabolic pathways. This leads to a far more focused production of specific antioxidants, like THC. Plants also produce antioxidants during the day. Excess light, for example, can trigger the production of excess antioxidants as part of their defense mechanisms against reactive oxygen species (ROS). The differential ROS production by blue and IR light can have significant biological consequences. For example, high levels of ROS induced by blue light can lead to cell damage and death, while lower levels of ROS produced by IR light may be involved in beneficial cellular signaling pathways. Long nights under the IR (very low ROS), the boost in cellular respiration, and the boost in energy production. In a perfect world, I'd give the plant a shock treatment of 60DLI in 4 hours and give her the other 20 hours to perform cellular respiration under IR. The stress of those 4 hours would be rigorous and full of stress abound, 1800-2000ppm CO2 is easy for a couple of hours during daylight, it's maintaining it that's hard, but 4 hours is very doable with nothing but a little extra "carbon sugar" in your medium every other night during the first 4 weeks of flower. In my opinion, you only need to jack CO2 for those first 4 weeks of flower to see maximal output, after that it's all about trichome preservation, everything else comes second. Without the temps to assist with metabolism, CO2 is reduced to normal levels along with temps 4-5th week of flower. Buds are primarily composed of water. Developing flower buds, like other plant tissues, require a significant amount of water for growth and turgor pressure, which helps maintain their structure and firmness. Turgor pressure in plant cells is primarily generated by osmosis, but transpiration plays a crucial role in maintaining it. The optimal internal leaf surface temperature for photosynthesis at 1800-2000ppm CO2 is likely in the upper range of 97°F, meaning ambient would need to sit at 102°F-ish or thereabout for full metabolic utilization. That's putting your transpirational pulling force x5 x6 maybe x7 of what it would be if she were cruising at 68F. "My buds won't fatten, what can I do!!" Crank that bitch. If your purpose was to blow up a balloon as fast as you can, as much as you can, would you use 2x force or x5 Force to do so? Bad analogy, but you get the idea. Kiss. Optimize photosynthesis & VPD by day, cellular respiration by night. TECHNICALLY: "While transpiration and cellular respiration are both ongoing plant processes, they are not neatly separated into day and night. Both processes occur both day and night, though at different rates and with different emphasis. Transpiration, the release of water vapor from plant surfaces, is primarily driven by sunlight and photosynthesis during the day, but it also continues at a lower rate at night. Cellular respiration, which provides energy for the plant, occurs continuously, both day and night. " BUT Only 10% ATP can be processed through photosynthesis and carbon capture. 90% of ATP is processed when the plant's oxidative capacity becomes available (NIGHTTIME). Cellular respiration relies on the process of oxidation to generate energy. Specifically, the final stage of cellular respiration, called oxidative phosphorylation, utilizes oxygen as the final electron acceptor to produce a substantial amount of ATP, the cell's primary energy currency. Several environmental factors can hinder cellular respiration in plants. These include low oxygen levels, temperature extremes (both too high and too low), humidity, water stress, and the presence of toxins. These factors can impair the function of enzymes involved in respiration, disrupt the availability of substrates, or directly damage plant tissues, thus reducing the rate of cellular respiration. Factors such as oxygen concentration, glucose availability and temperature will all impact the amount of aerobic respiration an organism will perform. Slow but sure. Graveyards are full of men who thought they had more time. Discipline is brutal, but regret will break you. Be present. Plants constantly monitor their C and N status, and imbalances or deficiencies at the cellular level trigger complex signaling pathways (such as the SnRK1 and TOR pathways) that lead to increased autophagic activity. Production (Nitrification): Ammonia (from decomposition or fixaətion) is converted into nitrites and then nitrates by nitrifying bacteria in the soil under aerobic (oxygen-rich) conditions. Consumption (Assimilation): Plants absorb nitrates from the soil and water to produce proteins and DNA. Removal (Denitrification): In anaerobic (low-oxygen) environments like waterlogged soils, wetlands, and lake sediments, denitrifying bacteria use the oxygen in nitrate as an energy source, converting it into nitrogen gas N2 and nitrous oxide N2O, which return to the atmosphere.

Week 8: Steady Bloom & Vacation Prep Update: 10.07.2025 | Day 58 Weather stabilized around 25°C with occasional rain - ideal conditions. Gave another mild dose of dissolved Biotabs + Bokashi juice (1:100). Rain refilled water tanks just in time: Vacation coming up! Midweek my grow buddy takes over (fingers crossed). Here are the main characters: Forbidden Runtz Pure bloom focus now - minimal height gain. Sugar leaves turning frosty daily. Aroma intensifies: Sweet candy meets earthy skunkiness (yes, we're making that a word!). Buds point skyward, thickening noticeably. Pistils showing beautiful color variations - not just white anymore. Green Crack Surprise performer! Bud structure defied expectations: Fewer sites but chunky indica-style nugs instead of wispy sativa candles. Already sticky to the touch with impressive frosting. That glorious mango scent is creeping in - imagine it at peak swell! Easily 3+ weeks left. Bruce Banner She's still stretching like your yoga teacher! Not full bloom yet – new shoots exploding everywhere. Bud sites multiplying like rabbits. Light frost/mild smell now… but genetics don’t lie. FastBuds Tangie flashbacks intensify. This will be explosive soon. Wrap-up: This grow's the anti-stress champ compared to last year's coco/nutrient math marathon. Just observing, responding, and trusting the plants. Low-budget (Bokashi juice and only 1 smashed biotab), high-satisfaction. Learned from 2024 but 2025? Pure joy. I hasn't always to be complicated! Catch y'all next week growmies Smoking_Joe_Frazier

watered every other day with pk 13/14 and bio boost, somtimes used others nuts. I have it's still a little too hot, and the humidity reaches 70% especially at night but I have good airflow. The smell begins to become more intense and buds looks fatten a little bit better. i decided do not defoliate anymore until week 7. The Gorilla Fast veggest fast but in flowering seems to be not so fast and this is good for me due to the blackberry flowering in 60 70 days so i will try to harvest at same time.
