It's been a journey. I have been growing this longer than most of my plants because I really wanted to get big. It filled in nicely after a lot of topping and FIMing. A couple issues with pH sent me back at the end but it was ok. I'm really excited to try this cheese strain since I don't think I've grown another cheese strain before. Overall I would definitely say this was a good plan to grow. 💚🌱✌️

Day 92: Moved the lights to a different hanging formation to get a few more inches up, was at 16" distance in most areas. I probably only have one more trick up my sleeve to get another inch or two if I need it. Video to give a full view. Day 93: Fed with 1Gal of purified water, 6.65 Ph. Day 94: Seems to be filling out, both leaves yet again, and buds now too. Day 95: Power outage yesterday about 3hrs before typical lights out. Battery backup to the timer function in the power strip is probably dead or jostled out of place. It wasn't notice until it had been off for 90 mins, so we choose to leave the light off for the rest of the day as I didn't want to stress anything out by having the lights off for 90m on for 90m and then off again for 12h. Day 96: Well I certainly understand the fruity smell growers referenced. Shout out to RockyRidger for the heads up - the smell is pervasive in the room even with the carbon filter in the tent. Wonderfully fruity and less musky, a bit diesel or citrus if you really get in there. I did another short round of defoliation, much less and more cautious than before. She has little crystals everywhere (better seen in white light tomorrow) near the buds and pistils. I can't seem to get the stickiness off my hands now and I've washed them three times with degreasing soap! Pics in the red spec as I kept just red on for 5 mins longer than normal as I finished up and fed her and wanted to get at least a pic or two in for today. Fed with 1Gal purified water. 2tsp FFBB, 1tsp FFGB, 1.5tsp FFTB, 2ml AN B-52. 6.71pH / 825ppm in, 6.52pH / 1200 ppm out. Day 97: Better shots of some of the glitter we've got going on. Day 98: 🎶 ooo, that smell 🎶 (Day 28 Flowering)

Harvested choc 5, not a great washer based off what I got from the trim and larf, all the big buds are drying, took a whole rack on the vcure.

Day 77 - Was her last day. To be truthful she wasn't 100% ready going on the trichomes but needs must and the other photoperiod girls need their space now. It's crazy how my own personal ability has changed over the years. Blackberry is a strain I've grown every 12 months roughly, GrowDiaries is a fab place to track your learning. Looking back through my old grows I must have been mad to think they were ready to harvest! Way too early! Maybe that's the biggest thing I've learned - patience. Don't be too eager to chop, there is a lot to be gained extending by 2 or 3 weeks... Anyway, back to this girl. She has been chopped and trimmed. Have a look thru the pics, if you see a piece of black tape on the stem the apex bud on that branch was BACKBUILT. I have to say the technique REALLY does work. Those buds look fatter and denser than the others that have been left natural. It seems effective to be done about halfway through flowering, but no later than 3/4 of the way. FINAL UPDATE: So after 2 weeks in the drying net she weighed out to 87.81g. Not a great deal but she was compromised by the photoperiod plants she shared the tent with. It wasn't the full purple phenotype like I had twice before but still she looks pretty.

Well here we are at day 35 and my girl is turning into a stunning looking young lady :) This c4 has surprised me and is growing with such speed and vigour producing budding sights like there’s no tomorrow :) I can start to see some purpling already even in these young immature buds :) I can’t wait for her to fatten up and fill with resin and trichome’s , Update on day38 and the C4 is looking amazing she is starting to take on some lovely purple colouring :)..

Just starting week 6 and These girls are starting to get some smell finally . This is the same strain as my other big plant but I learned that this strain doesn't like to be over fed so I have been feeding these 4 plants a light feeding but the two plants in the back are showing they are hungry so this feeding today I upped their food . Checked the soil ph and it was in at 6.4 . Defoliated a few of the big fan leaves that were blocking the buds down the stalks and its looking pretty fat. Also the trichome production is much farther ahead then my big plant at this stage . The small leaves are covered in them . Still have about 4 to 5 weeks to go .

February 23, 2021 (Week 7, Day 50, Flower 1): It's the first day of flower! The plants slept for 12 hours last night and will keep that up until harvest. Still seeing pretty crazy growth even for the 12 hours of darkness they went through. Grew about another .5". Excited to see how much these things stretch. Soil was very dry this morning so I watered with 4l of water per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus + 1/4 tsp/gal Humboldt Nutrients Big Up Flower Powder with a pH of 5.8. Runoff pH of 6.3. I will start watering with a 6.0 solution going forward. I also top dressed with about an inch of fresh Roots Organics Lush soil. Plants are looking great. Not seeing any problems currently. I'll keep a close eye on them as they transition. Turned down humidity another 5% today. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. February 24, 2021 (Week 7, Day 51, Flower 2): Plants look great. Soil still moist from watering. Tilled half inch of topsoil. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. Nothing else for today. February 25, 2021 (Week 7, Day 52, Flower 3): No complaints at all. These plants are as healthy as they can be from what I can tell. The growth sites are starting to do some funky stuff and everything is kind of starting to "clump" together. Really interesting to watch this process happen, as I've always wondered exactly how the buds begin to form. I was greeted with a very sweet smell when I opened my tent this morning, nothing strong yet. To encourage further vertical growth I've removed all LST ties except for two from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I adjusted the ties on Unknown 1 because it's already starting to stretch and I need it to slow down just a bit while the others catch up. Soil is semi-moist this morning but the pots are still pretty heavy, so I'll water in a day or two. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. February 26, 2021 (Week 7, Day 53, Flower 4): Pots were light today so watered with 4l per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus at 6.0 pH. Runoff sitting at 6.4 pH. Defoliated one more node on each growth stem - the lollipop look is coming around. It will probably be my last defoliation like this. From now on I'll only pluck fan leaves that get in the way of bud sites. Unknown 1 grew over 2" in the last 24 hours. The stretch is getting real. I removed all remaining LST ties from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I redid the LST ties on Unknown 1 in an attempt to control its growth, but at this point I feel like it's just going to be a lanky plant and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll do my best to keep them as level as I can. Also, I took off Unknown 2's stem cast today and it healed really, really well. I have never seen a plant do this, but it filled itself in with tissue that is soft to the touch, and there's only a slight split at the top. It's looking really great. My wife noticed the smell of the plants this morning for the first time - so that's a good sign! Plants are starting to put off a lot of their own humidity, so I haven't refilled my humidifier in days. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. February 28, 2021 (Week 7, Day 55, Flower 6): Top soil is pretty dry, but the pots are still heavy. I'll hold off watering for a day or two. The last 24-hour period I think I saw the biggest difference in the plants so far. Each growth stem stretched a ton on each plant, but at varying degrees. The canopy is suddenly uneven, but I think trying to keep everything even at this point will be futile. I will let them go and install the SCROG net soon if the colas start growing too differently from one another. The stipules on every plant tripled in length overnight so I think the plants are definitely getting with the new 12-hour schedule. All the plants are starting to shoot off tons of pre-flowers and pistils now. They're in the swing of things now. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. March 1, 2021 (Week 7, Day 56, Flower 7): Soil is dry but pots still have some weight. Will probably water tomorrow. Plants are looking fantastic. Canopy is stretching all over the place. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. Looking forward to next week! Hopefully we'll start to see some flowers poking through soon!

First week cultivation of the 5 BlueDream seeds. I broke the dormancy of the seeds in a container with water for 30hrs. After that I used the napkin technique to germinate the seeds for another 16 hours. In this cycle I will use 4 3-gallon pots and 1 2-gallon pot which I hope will have enough light with my 1000W Greens Indoor LED panel. I prepared 2 liters of water with 0.4 ml of GHE rapid star and kept the water PH at 6.2 and 1.8 mS /cm EC. I left a plastic with some openings to try to increase the humidity of the air.

So, this will be their last week. After around twelve weeks, both guavas look to be ready for harvest. both plants didn't grow super big, the cold in the beginning seems to have really slowed things down super heavy. Nevertheless there are some nice and beautiful buds, looking forward how they will evolve when cured.

Went away for the weekend and plants were looking great when I got back. I think I’ll flip them in the next couple of days and do my first defoliation. I’m pumped. Bought a veg tent so I’ll make a couple of cuttings too and maybe put the little OGKZ in there. Give it a chance.
