Way to start the week more photos to come. Flushed using sledge hammer this week stretch has come to a complete stop and budding is in full force. The smell oh how can I describe but a sweet berry funk. They have taken very well to the fox farm nutes that I’ve been giving. Definitely some differences in 2 of four, DD1 and DD2 much more weight and little to no purple except for main stem and veins on existing leaves compared to DD3 and the runt DD4 buds are not as dense but man are they flying this deep lavender and purple. The smell from this girls is so sweet . Bud structure is different on the DD I’m guessing the sativa vs indica genetics are showing which are dominating the plants either way there is a wonderfully sweet aroma from all the plants. 4/19 I feed them more nutrients in a small attempt to see if I can push the nutes slightly past recommended levels, to date no signs of burn or build up ever so slight clawing of the fans but nothing I’m concerned about plants looking good.

Ztrawberries= as you can see from the pic and video these girls are skyrocketing climbing almost an inch a day. Showing good signs of pre flower, very impressed with dominant heads coming through on all these ladies 👌🏽 Tropicana cookies = These girls are just showing off there stretch rate match that of the ztrawberries and it’s and impressive spectacle to watch also showing good signs of pre flower Cherry Cola = These girls seem a week slower than the rest none of the less they are showing a decent amount of heads just no signs of any stretch. O.N = Ztrawberries and Tropicana Cookies have had some defoliation not really touched Cherry Cola so I don’t cause any unnecessary stress. EC increased from 1.1 to 1.3. Very happy this week!!

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve reported anything I am sorry I haven’t been able to keep up. I’ve been going through a lot with getting them to flower ...different nutrients changing to 12 / 12 light ...it got very hot and lost my air...we will see if it hurt there growth ...

gained 10" in the last 7 days. 19" in the last 2 weeks. doing extremely light stress training. just enough to get the light evenly to the leaves. there are multiple colas coming up together. hoping for a decent amount from these plants. im doing a light defoliation each week. changed the way the lights hang in the 3rd tent to give more room to grow and light covers more of the plant now

I’m really just updating with photo dumps at this point lol but this white widow is proving to be f*cking massive and these buds are looking like they’re going to STACK!!! I defoliate here and there lightly and open the canopy to get some light further down. She fills a 2x2 out completely! My next run will consist of a few of these for sure!! Should be a great harvest!!

Week 4 of flower and the boys have finally spilled the pollen. It’s bloody everywhere in there so I expect that no bud has gone undefiled😎. The females have all witnessed a pretty significant nitro deficiency now that they’re trying to produce seed instead of flowers. We changed out the nute mix to 1/3 grow and 2/3 bloom and they immediately showed improvement. No slight against Druid at all - we moved to a different brand simply to conserve it for the flowering runs where it really matters👍. The lone separated spicy bitch female that entered flower early is looking really sexy. I very much doubt she’ll have escaped full pollination with this much in the air however. We won’t use any seed from this girl but if we’re lucky we might be able to pull out some sample bud. We’re taking down all the males today now that their job is done and we’ve also decided to harvest from the one specific cum dumpster male that has shown as the most vigorous. Doubt we’ll get around to using it before it’s shelf life expires but u never know. The details on that will be in the harvest entry coming up. Other than that - we’re through the fornication stage and it’s all just keeping the ladies alive until it’s time to extract some seeds👍😎👍. Still workn on the potential cross names - that’s the best part😉. Until next week🤟👊. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Plant 1 has 2 sets of cotyledon leaves. Which is a neat mutation. Anyone else grow stardawg and seen this? I really tried getting the temperature up a little more this week. Worked a little too well and things coulda went south quick. Thankfully everything’s good. I do not have access to my grow as much as I would like? As I do not have sufficient space in my apartment for my grow, Iam forced to do so in my parents basement. Big shout out to my mom! For watering these girls for me. Buenos días familia, de nuevo os traigo esta esta 5 semana de floración de nuestras green ak xL de zambezaseeds. Una está algo bloqueada y no quiere comer nutrientes la otra ya va mejor y si come. Ph controlado temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros establecidos. Una cepa bastante difícil de dominar muy sensible a los cambios, pero que seguro bien cultivada dará todo de sí, xL su nombre lo dice.

2da semana de flora y cambio positivo para las quebradas 😅 Blue Moby ni se enteró del supercroping accidental lo que si quedo con baja estatura que las demás. moby dick se recupero de la arrancada de la.punta principal 💪 viene un poco atrasada en flora en comparación a ww y bm pero viene remontando. Whithe widow viene súper bien y florando con cambios día a día 😍 está semana defolie las 3 por última vez y agregue una segunda malla de scrog para evitar el error anterior de quebrarla queriendola entrenar! Como siempre acepto criticas y concejos gracias y buena semana!! 🤝

Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.
