Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. Pretty good week overall! Day 80, I am posting a little early to coincide with my expected harvest in 2 weeks, and because today I officially started the flush! At this point I am anticipating the harvest between 5 and 14 days from now, depending on how quickly the buds finish ripening up. I am guessing the taller plant has about 75% red hairs and over 50% cloudy trichomes at this point. The shorter plant is slightly behind with maybe 40% of her hairs being red and maybe a third of the trichomes are cloudy. They have made a lot of progress over the past week, so🤞 they will continue that trend. Did a pretty decent defoliation on the shorter plant, due to some fan leaves that were blocking light from the lower canopy turning yellow. I have decided to try molasses with my flush water, hopefully that will improve my final product. One final note is the smell.... it is considerably stronger this time than either of my first 2 grows. Typically I do not bother with a carbon filter, but the smell was so strong it leaked in from my garage and permeated my entire house! So I added filter (and a very strong candle) and it seems to have helped the problem. Super excited for the harvest, will definitely keep everyone posted!

First week of pre flower. Getting nervous about this transition stage, first plant ever, any advice on how to not screw it all up?!? Also, someone give me some feedback! I think she looks in decent health but I would love some experienced opinions.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. So I thought the plants was going to be a flop but they turned it around, really long time tho for a auto flower, I could of ran photos with a better yield, but never the less these look like 10/10 nugs and smell amazing i can't wait to see how these look dried off.

18/08/25: Last update before harvest, just about a week to go! Both plants are nearly ready and the differences between them are really starting to shine. One has taken on a stunning red hue over the past days, while the other has faded almost completely, signaling that it’s in its final stage! 😍 The aroma in the garden is intense now. The reddish, Indica-leaning pheno is absolutely dripping with resin and carries a distinct spicy, earthy scent. In contrast, the second plant has focused heavily on bud growth, with a massive main cola and a sweeter, more tropical fragrance. The bud-to-leaf ratio isn’t ideal, but I think that is to be expected when running autos outdoors at 52° latitude, where the climate can be a bit cool and unpredictable. Still, I could not be happier with how they’ve turned out! This being my first time growing autos, it’s been a really rewarding experience. 😁 Also so far I didn't encounter any pests/mold, no issues at all...fingers crossed it stays that way for this last crucial week before the chop! 🤞🏼☀️

Day 15 and they were watered 2 days ago. They all got around 3 - 4 liters of water and they are drinking alot now. The lemon tree is the winner so far. The permanent jealousy auto is ahead in flower. The slurrups clones from in house genetics are starting to flower as well in their 6 liter pots. I just make them for fun. Was hoping for a male plant. Still early flower. So far so good

Orange has bounced back amazingly after my light mess up and has settled back into a life of flower , it appears the only damage is that it added a few weeks onto the grow .

Had some aphids on the GDP but I caught them early and sprayed them with some homemade soapy water with essential oils mixture,so it shouldn't be a problem moving forward plus I spotted some natural allies (ladybugs) The Runtz has the biggest buds and looks like it will finish first The G13 has the best and strongest smell
