05.07. - 11.07. (DD.MM.) On 05.07. I corrected my LST again. The growth of the plant had increased considerably by 06.07.. When examining the plant, I noticed the first beginnings of flowers as can be seen in the pictures. So we are at the end of the growth phase and starting the flowering phase. I cut off a large leaf from one of the main branches because it was shading the branches below. (see pictures) I also cut off two small old leaves from the bottom as they were completely shaded and interfered with watering. (see pictures) I also watered about 500ml without fertilizer because some leaf tips were dark green and bent downwards. (see pictures) 08.07. Plant is growing great watered with about 1l with flowering fertilizer. About 200ml of water has flowed out of the bottom of the pot after watering, it has a pH of 6,5. I interrupted the lighting of the plant for about 4 hours today because i moved house. 10.07. Watered with about 500ml with flowering fertilizer.

Some mild defoliation this week. Budding up nicely and starting to frost. This girl was having a foliar feed of algae last week but this week she's getting light foliar sprays of the Lacalva stress treatment from madame grow on top of her other feed. I'll do this every 2/3 mornings and I'll only lightly mist the top. I'll concentrate most of my foliar feed on the lower growth and undersides, away from the buds. This is the main reason I kept so many lower fan leaves this time.

She continues to pile on the trichomes and is taking on a exquisite purple hue to her flowers! She is definitely one of the most photogenic cultivar's I've grown, especially with her 'Triple Headed flower', and is looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days, which will put her around two or three more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. This week i flushed both plant but the Burn was very Bad

Day 62 - Last week was a rinse. This week I returned to watering with the Fox Farm nutes, adding the Bembe and Cha Ching to the trio and Cal Mag. Day 68 - Stacking nicely and the pistols are turning red. Watered with the Fox Farm Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Cal Mag, Bembe and Cha Ching .

This week does not have that much work... Just ensure that all the Temps and humidity remains consistent. Main factors... She sprouted perfectly..I can not complain about a thing!

Right now I'm flushing with my homemade substance, it pushes pretty much clean, planning to harvest next week. Before harvesting I will let these girls sleep for 48 hours, hoping that a purple color will appear. Currently night temperatures are around 19 to 15 degrees.

I had bad luck, or beter I didn’t keep the rain out of the structure. So unfortunately the lady’s did get wet! We had a lot of rain after a great summer. I think if I didn’t had rotten flowering 800 gram per plant was normal yield! It is a great plant verry easy to grow and a big yield! I like the seeds of high-Seeds! Its a great supplier!
