Hey Growers & Tokers! Sorry for the delay on the weekly updates, had some things I had to attend but I'm back and at it! A week has passed since the 21-day defoliation. These pictures were taken on day 27 of flower. Defoliation is showing its fruits, no signs of stress. Bud sites are growing day by day. Curious to see how these buds develop. I'm hoping the main colas turn out one big bud. Figures crossed. Did a little plucking this week, nothing too noticeable.. Smell is starting to come in, can't quite put my finger on it yet. Still feeding every other day. No signs of deficiencies, that's great. Next week i'll start giving her a PK booster. That's it for this week hope you're enjoying this progress like I am. Day 15 - wow, this plant is growing better than ever! a. this plant is growing at the rate of my last Pineapple Express Auto by Fastbuds b. the indica traits though, are really nice with the wide leaves c. humidity has been a little lower than I want, but we have had some impressive rain to compensate Day 16 - more growth, many many roots in the pool a. there are about 3 good root clusters into the pool, they are making nice ladder roots b. the DWC is running well, with temps almost 30 outside, the DWC is staying 22, ph 5.8, 440 ppm. c. installed the CO2 generator, a Banana Bomber, 1KG sugar, 3 tsp yeast, 2 mashed up bananas, 5L warm water. Day 17 - she is growing a. the CO2 generator is generating CO2 already, this time I ground up the bananas like baby food. b. adjusted the ventilation a little to maintain 27-28 degrees in the tent Day 18 - growing well a. i have to keep reminding myself that just 18 days ago this was a dry seed in a packet. b. many roots in the pool, there are a few very large roots about to bust through the netpot Day 19 - growing well a. smooth and steady growth, temperatures in tent are 28 in the day, and around 23 in its 4hrs of darkness, humidity is always 60+, and we are getting alot of rain to help with that. b. noticing growth all over, this plant is growing a bit different than my others, it seems that in the past ive had mostly sativa leaning auto hybrids. Day 20 - many BIG roots hitting the pool a. there are about 25 huge root tips hitting the pool right now, there are already about 10 root clusters in there, but these roots are much thicker b. like the breeder says, week 3 this will take off, totally accurate Day 21 - growth everywhere a. the stem is becoming much thicker, the symmetry of the plant is beautiful, really liking the wide leaves b. next week she will take off like a rocket c. the CO2 bomber, as usual, is generating CO2 very well

Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

2/8 Week 13 ! Her drinking is falling, almost a quart less today. Moving into flush range as the hairs are beginning to curl and seeing some small showings of amber. Reducing the Bloom nuets to 5ml until I see its time to change again, increasing PK slightly. Prob two days then go to full PK (15ml) to take her into flush. Plan a fast flush with an agent to speed things along. 2/9 Fed 5ml/gal CT Bloom A/B 12ml/gal Peak Another day 2/10 Leaving feeding as is, building nicely leaving the plant positioned as is think this is the best compromise between all the plants in the tent. Not sure how long this will go at this point, but not cutting her short for anything. Pics 2/12 Beginning to back off the PK leaving the CocoTek at a low dose. Plan to have the PK gone in a day or so but leaving the CT until flush. Just following some new ideas on using PKs and Finishers. Pics and vid of buds using a couple of filters just trying to show these two foot long buds without messing with the dark cycle. Hope it helps 2/13 Pics that you can actually see! Due to some issues, one is on this grow (I need to increase potency on Tara), changing out the HPS for MH for a while, may finish under it depends on the other grow. Looking at the trics I have decided to drop the PK and go to normal levels of Bloom nuets until flush. Continuing to keep her cleaned out as much as needed so light gets all the way down. 2/14 Pics of the rearranged tent to end the week, Realize now how much time switching the lights to 12-12 has added to Tara's finishing time. Had no real choice but its a point learned. Happy with her progress

7/7: Transplanted plant to final pot! Roots showed out of tray. Accidentally pulled a root off during transplant 😢. After transplant I top feed/watered medium with a half gallon of treated water. I mixed 2ml of Rapid Start in 1 gallon water hub. Poured half in half gallon jug then poured half gallon over medium. Added 2 gallons of water into reservoir (1st white line) to promote root growth to bottom and to begin capillary reaction. 7/8: Bumped light intensity dimmer to 30%. 7/9: Left for Vacation.... Praying for my baby!🙏🏿 Going to be gone for 4 days. 😅 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

2020-07-12 New week, same nutrients. I've been carefully monitoring nutrient intake and topping up plant 1 quite often, almost a gallon a day now. The 2nd plant is growing slower and eating a bit less but it's also a week behind developmentally. Plant 1 is happy with EC=1600 and I dilute that down to EC=1400 for plant 02. Plants are looking good! 2020-07-18 Last day of the week. Plant 01 is completely insane. It is so tall that I keep having to supercrop the top as more colas try to hit the light. I obviously let it veg for way too long but I struggled early on with nutrition so I didn't know what would happen when I finally dialed everything in!!! I am gonna take them to the end, I just hope I don't have to cut any colas off that become unmanageable. I have to be way more aggressive with my LST next time. Very very light nutrient burn on plant 2. Still running EC=1600 and EC=1400 for plant 1/2.

Every week I watch my girls grow into beautiful budding trees only difference is now she in flowering I take her outside to absorb some of the beautiful sunshine and she's loving every bit of it. I let her stay outside for 8 hours in nature then back inside for another 8 hours of led full spectrum and turn out my lights for another 8 hr she's an Auto so she loving every minute of this ...... this is the results ⬆️
