Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

I did start to burn the lower leaves with the 300 ppm nutes last week, but changed out the water entirely after 24 hours. keeping it real low from now on. currently at 185 ppm. hard to see in the video, but there are at least 8 nodes. flowers are also starting to pop so i'll switch to flower nutes at next change. light is 18" above and was turned up to 100% today. plant is insanely dense! video was taken after I tried and tried to leaf tuck. it's tough when it's a stout little dwarf like that. also does give off a faint sour smell now. cool...

Lost power for 30 hours due to the storm and Fires last week but managed to make it through ok. Been flushing them heavy and noticing some beautiful purple coming in. Just took them down and hung to dry. Can't wait to see how close I get to my goal!

---11/23/24--- Day 18 from germination I noticed that the plants are picking up growth again, seemingly accelerating each day. The new growth seems healthy, and the main stems are thickening and becoming stronger each day! Unfortunately, my soil revealed itself to be under spider mite attack. I tried to remedy the issue by spraying some Captain Jack Neem Oil - will keep monitoring and re-applying as needed. Still feeding the plants plain, Ph balanced water. --11/20/24--- Day 15 from germination I transplanted the babies into a 5 gallon AC Infinity fabric pots, each filled with: * Moistened Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil * Several handfuls of perlite * Several handfuls of vermiculite * 1 tsp of Mycorrhizae towards the top 25% of the soil I watered the top of the soil around the plants with ~250ml of plain, 6.3 Ph water. Before the transplantation, I noticed some yellowing of the bottom leaves on 2 of the plants, paired with slowed growth the past couple of days. I suspect this was either due to a nitrogen deficiency (notice how the the roots look rootbound) or slight overwatering. Either way, the issue should resolve itself, as the new soil will provide breathing room + more nutrients. ---11/19/24--- Day 14 from germination I was going to transplant them into their 5 gallon fabric pots, however, I'm probably going to give them a couple more days to establish a more robust root system. I noticed a weak skunky smell coming from the Mamasita strain. It started around day 10 -ish. Water: Plain 6.5ph balanced water every 2 days. Light: 18/6 light cycle. Vivosun VS4000 @ 50% most of the time, sometimes increasing to 75%. Air: Clip-on fan set to 3/10 speed to constantly blow at the plants.

Week 15 days 99-105 . I'm am flushing all plants with 1 gallon of filtered water each. I've reduced the light cycle from 18 to 14 hours to reduce heat stress. It may reduce yield as well based on comments I've read in other growers diaries. An oz per plant would be nice. Of course more would be better but an oz makes a pound of cannabutter. Reducing the light hours is reducing the purpleness in the stems of og kush and gorilla glue but Purple chill still has purple stems The Natrona sisters spend their nights in the garage where the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than in the day temps in the tent. Night temps ranged this week between 63-66 with rh 51-76%. The high rhythm comes after a rain. During the day, I'm keeping the tent open while circulating 2 fans. Day Temps can reach 80 so it gets hot in there. flooded each plant with 1 gal of water. From here forward I will be flushing all plants with filtered water at 1 gal for each plant every other day. Monday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo. This is a stress technique used to force plant phenotype colors. I don't think it will work for mine as I over fed. While I have 3 different strains, they look the same with blue green dominance. Thursday, flushed with 1 gal of water. General comments" After putting the plants in the garage during the night, morning soil temperatures are within a degree of the night air temperature. This has been about 15 degrees cooler (50s) than the tent temperatures (75+). This week our weather has been unseasonably warm so the night temperatures have been 63-71 with Rh 51-70% Tent temps in the day 75-80 and RH 47-59%. En la segunda semana de floracion le he sujetado un par de hojas muy grandes a la rama porque estan tapando las demas plantas, ahora solo utilize el engordador de cogollos, he tenido que dejar el calentador encendido porque con las 12 horas de luz la habitacion se esta enfriendo mucho y las temperaturas han bajado hasta los 16 grados, prefiero no estresarlas pero por lo demas van bien. He notado tambien que algunas hojas grandes de abajo, como que se pudren o se ponen muy debiles y se caen solas.

So far - so good, as always. Yesterday switched to 12/12 as the photoperiod one needs to start flowering, it means that autos will spend last two three weeks of their life at 12/12

Shes chunky as nugs are solid shes got a nice fade leaves dropping and turning yellow been in flush since 17/11 ran 8l through her and will be watering with 2ml of terpinator to 1l water at 2l per day for the next 10/14days she smells really sweet a little earthy aswell really pungent now trichs are near enough all cloudy with some ambers should be nice by the time flushing ends . tied a few of the top buds up for support during flush will get some better pics first plant in the video is the cut the next is 2 gorilla then blue mystic two further to the right are gsc and another cut last one in the vid is the critical thought id put a little vid of the whole room thanks for reading happy growing guys

The first week has passed. Roots are starting to show on the bottem of the basket and the growth spurt can start!

1-9 Watered 3x, starting flush. 1-11 Day 67 from seed Day 43 of flower Boosted Scc and cal/mag Small shot ppm 550 ph 6.2 1-12 Started 3x flush. Ppm brought down to about 200. 1-14 Feed Scc ppm 550. Same as last feed. Leaves showing fading. .

[DAY 43] - 13/07/2022 - Temp. 29° / RH: 50/60%; - EC 1.3; PH 6.3 - In the next few days: a) I will gradually raise the EC up to 1.5, first with a large addition of CaMg+ (up to 3/4 ml/L), then moving on to the full pre-flowering feed; b) I try to keep PH at 6.0 to improve the absorption of cal-mag; - Lamp: 80% (120 watt) - 50 cm away from the center of the net - 18/6 cycle; - Many leaves seems to be too green, almost dark green, we'll see next days how plant grows and fix if needed; - I widened the canopy a bit outwards through the scrog net, I hope it will help the light penetrate better in the center; - I also removed a single leaf that was very large and which from day one was blocking all the light in the center of the net. Excess of nutrients? Other? I ask with a growquestion and hope to understand more about it. Fingers crossed 😐 - Thanks to the advice of @Chow_13 and @SwissKush I realized that the leaves were signaling me to start flowering nutrition right away, the plant is starting to require more P and K. I just replaced the solution in the DWC with 8 liters of bloom nutrient. In the evening I upload some pics to show how plant reacts. [DAY 47] - 17/07/2022 - 29° C - 65% RH (wet day); - PH 6.2 - EC 1.6; - I just regenerated the CO2 tanks and I decided to put them outside the box because they are too bulky (the tube through which the CO2 passes is inside the grow box). [DAY 48] - 18/07/2022 - 29° C - 65% RH (wet day); - PH 6.1 - EC 1.7; - TS1000 40 cm away - 80% (120 watt); - New leaves are growing well. - Removed the branch tie; - Found an ant on the log, but how the hell did you get in? [DAY 49] - 19/07/2022 - 29° C - 60% RH ; - PH 6.0 - EC 1.74; - TS1000 40 cm away - 80% (120 watt); - Plant is drinking about 1.5 liters of solution per day. I'm trying to keep the PH below 6.1, at the moment it is 6 and tomorrow I try to lower it to 5.9 / 5.8; I highlight how the solution inserted on 16/07/2022 had EC 1.6 and today the EC is 1.74, it has slowly risen over the last few days. For the moment nothing alarming, I see how it proceeds and if so I intervene; - Removed the 2-3 liters still in the DWC and inserted 8 liters of new solution: EC 1.37 - PH 5.9. The plant was not drinking well, the EC was continuing to rise and tomorrow I start the new week, so I anticipated the replacement of the solution. EC 1.6 was too much? Or the plant was not yet ready for a full flower blend? I don't know, let's see how it goes with the new solution.

Will update more once cured. Very pleased with this muster strain and have already purchase two more mix packs and will be planting more soon.
