So my microscopic camera came on the weekend after checking the trichomes to my surprise i was advised to harvest asap due to have some amber already. they were receiving full nutes up until 4 days ago. since then I've been flushing. i was still receiving high runoff ec readings after 2 days of flush so have since put around 30 litres of water through each plant all now have ec of around 0.3/0.4. thinking of doing the same tomorrow to wash last of the nutes out then will put them into 48hrs of darkness before chopping unless anyone can advise me different?

Just finished week 3 and everything looks amazing. Been fighting a gnat infestation. Been running some Mosquito dunks. This week I'll run a H2o2 in the res. Hopefully this will take care of them. Also placing yellow sticky traps in every bucket to catch stragglers.

They were all very slow to start compared to all the other strains I grew and seemed to dislike everything I was doing. Real problem children.... They were runty until about the last 2 weeks of their lives, then really packed it on and ripened quickly. I was really surprised they weighed as well as they did, but they all really fattened up with I added the other QB, bringing the total wattage to 360w in the 5 sq ft space. Didn't keep separate weights, but the total was 168g...roughly 40g's per plant. Final thoughts: Of the 6 DD's I've grown over the past couple of years, they are consistently a pain in my ass, and poor-producers.. but it's top-shelf bud. It's prolly the wife's favorite flavor, so I gotta grow a little every season... Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 6/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Ease of growing: 3/10

This week we can see finally a change, she starts to be more shaped, her buds are getting fatter, more thricomes are coming out and her smell is changing from earthy to diesel. Most of her pistils are turning orange, but I hope she will gain more weight and density in the next few weeks. Most of fan leaves are turning yellow quickly and I don’t know if it’s normal or caused by a lock or lack of nitrogen since i gave her less biogrow during last feeding.

The wait is finally over, I harvested on 07/01/25. Dried very slowly for almost 2 weeks inside the tent at 60% humidity and 18 - 21 °C. Smells very sweet, it reminds me strongly of the Purple Punch. Only in direct comparison, the Purple Punch leans more to berries while the GSC leans more to something, I can't smell out. But very tasty.

Bueno, esta fue la octava semana de floración. Desafortunadamente no pude sacar ninguna buena foto bien de cerca, pero la mayoría de todos los tricomas están bien blancos (o "lechosos"), pero casi ninguno color ámbar todavía. Para algunos, este seria un punto optimo de corte, pero a mi personalmente me gusta que tengan un 20%-30% de tricomas ámbar. Espero que para finales de la semana que viene pueda cosechar. Pero como ya sabemos, la ansiedad es nuestra peor enemiga cuando de cosechar se trata! Nada que cambiar respecto de la semana anterior, riego y medio ambiente similar. Esto es todo por ahora. kommen in Woche 17/ Blütewoche 5 Vorerst verzeiht uns Bitte das etwas verspätete Update, nur der Geburtstag meiner Partnerin am vergangenen Samstag und ein gestriger Auto-Marathon von gut 600 Km haben es nicht eher zugelassen ;-) Zum Update: Kurz zusammengefasst, wer unser Diaries verfolgt hat weiß, dass wir Anfangs ein nicht entsprechend gutes, Medium, hatten. Auch das späte 2te Umtopfen in neutrale Erde, hat zwar sehr dem neuen Wurzelwerk geholfen und ohne diesem wären wir definitiv nicht so weit wie heute. Da aber eines wichtig ist zu erwähnen, wir haben natürlich beim Umtopfen es nicht geschafft, die Wurzeln komplett von der zu ,,harten Erde, zu befreien bzw. zu Spülen mit Destilliertem Wasser. Da uns wichtiger Dünger kippte fehlte es uns zur entscheidenden Zeit an Zucker, P+K, CalMag. So weit so gut, denn Sie wuchsen wieder. In dem Begriff haben wir mit Sicherheit auch ungewollt Nährstoffe rausgespült. Als es dann in die Blüte bzw. den erhöhten EC- Bereich ging, hat die Mitte des Mediums anfangs stets immer ein höheren EC- Wert wie die Erde die frisch umwachsen wurde. Dies brauchte auch ein paar Tage zum Registrieren dessen. Ein wahrer Balance Akt und Symbiose ist gerade auf dieser Ebene arg wichtig. Wir haben zusätzlich mit Co²- Tabletten gearbeitet, um die Nährstoff-verabeitung anzukurbeln bzw. Überschüsse zu vermeiden und zudem, sehen uns die Damen nur noch kaum. Die allgemeinen Additive werden im Moment zweimal die Woche mit Supermicrobes und ein wenig PK 13/14 unterstützt. Zusätzlich wie geahnt, ist der Sommer da und das nicht zu knapp! Selbst im Garten Gießen, ist eine Herausforderung. Wärme- Hitzestress ist sicherlich auch ein großes Thema. Feingefühl, was die Lampe betrifft, muss noch in Erfahrung gefestigt werden. Daher haben wir auch letzte Woche Dienstag umgestellt auf 600 Watt und selbst dies führen wir wahrscheinlich nur noch bis nächsten Samstag, denn die Temperaturen sollen auf 39 ° C steigen. Durch alle Einflüsse haben wir zwar spät (Gestern Abend) aber definitiv ein paar Blätter verloren. Wir haben die Blätter bewusst stehen lassen, um zu beobachten, ob es sich eindämmt und oder schlimmer wird mit den Mangelerscheinungen. Des Weiteren wenn sie stehen bleiben, werden auch die nicht so guten Blätter am ehesten weiter vergehen, statt neue intakte anzugehen. Am Haupteingang befindet sich auf der linken Seite die Oberzicke von allen Damen^^ Sie leidet am meisten, weil sie zuletzt aber auch den höchsten EC hatte und somit als letztes natürlich mehr Destilliertes Wasser bekam. Man sieht es ihr an, dass es ihr nicht so gut geht wie den anderen. Insgesamt bis auf die Zicke werden allgemein Nährstoffe angenommen und neue akute Mangelerscheinung sind nicht wirklich zuerkennen. Wir befinden uns stets in der Zeit, wo es sehr schnell zu Überschüssen kommen kann, da man versucht die Mängel auszugleichen und unter Berücksichtigung des Nährstofffasses nicht zu viel hineinzugeben ins Medium. Wir die sehr lange gelernt haben nicht mehr groß zu Überdüngen, kommen bei diesem lauf echt ins Schwitzen, da die Damen wirklich viel Nährstoffe brauchen und auch Verbrauchen. Selbst alle 2 Tage nur rein Wasser ist nicht ausreichend. Eines steht fest, diese Strain wird ein Wiederholungs- Strain! Die Schönheit liegt im Auge des Betrachters, insgesamt für diesen lauf sehen sie trotz allem Umständen schön aus. Ehrlich betrachtet, führen wir in diesem lauf doch die längsten Zöpfe von je her. Ob sie auch so voll werden, die Colas (Zöpfe), wird sich zeigen. Im Moment bildet sich eine schöne Budstruktur sowie Calyx aus, sie werden schwerer und breiten sich schön um den Stamm aus. Leichte Farbakzente kann man hier und da mal wahrnehmen. Die ersten Pistols werden braun, die Blütenbildung setzt sich fort. Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Day 17 (starting Aug. 2nd afternoon): Will water them with a lightly enhanced RO water that was imprinted with frequencies via a PEMF coli for about one day when their day starts. After being away over the extended weekend, on day 20 ladies have grown very nicely. I topped nr# 1 and #2 after I took the photos and will give them a bit of water with Root Complex to compensate for the shock later. Sadly my brilliant control equipment has crashed completely and will not even take a photo currently. Yikes. Hope I can get it back alive this week again. Also turned the left light up by another 20%, now running at 40 W, and lifted it a bit. Eye inspection told me lights were lower here and ladies can get a bit more. At the end of their day 20, they seem to have survived the topping well. I managed to cut right above the new nodes which are already growing. Ladies are at 20 cm height before going to sleep. Day 21 shows great growth again, with lady #1 being at 22 cm now and lady #2, while being a bit less tall, extremely good side branch development. I hope that the rearranged lighting on the left side of the tent will make #1 grow a bit bushier too. Besides from that, I am really happy I tested Hesi HPE. I had such enormous success with room plants that made me want to see how Cannabis plants react to it. It will not add much to salinity, so I dared to add it quite early. While the photos are processed to compensate the lighting, I did not add much to saturation, so leaves are indeed of a very vivid, luscious green and ladies looking extremely healthy. Speed of growth has increased too as the added video shows. It also tells me lighting is enough – they are turning their leaves away right at the end of their day. I am really uncertain if I will change to usual Hesi grow fertiliser at all … Did a bit of LST to the lowest branches of lady #2 which spread almost to the border of her pot. Both temporary girls will leave the tent soon, so that the competitors will have maximum space to develop. Day 22, end of week 3: Outside girl went to get fresh air from now on. Wishing her luck, good weather and not a single male in the vicinity. I rearranged the lights and positioned them a bit higher. First preflower signs appeared on the ladies, so I will change the lighting phase when I return next week. Currently, I have them at 18/6, 45 cm above heads, with 80% running to a total of 80 W. I wasn’t so lucky topping #2. She has only one "top side" branch now … But grows extremely well, so ok!
