I wanted to try a grow by the breeders earlier recommendation, and with this being an 8 week sativa, I HAD to try it. The effects at week 8 are HEAVY! The only downside is that the high only lasts for about an hour to an hour and a half, and then starts winding down for about an hour before being level again, and I don’t blame the strain, I blame myself for not waiting longer, but I wanted to see how the plant would be affected. The terps on both are consistent, and similar to the 3rd I’m currently growing in a different cycle. The genetics seem super stable and I will definitely keep a stock of clones and seeds for ZDF. Only down side is the hunger this girl has over the other plants, she EATS during flower.

I move autos for new grow. to separate from photoperiods. because I am supplying 20h of light in the records, and the others came in on 12/12. We had some signs of deficiencies, which are being corrected with flowermind fertilizer and an extra 2L layer of soil per pot.

I'm keeping an eye on what appears to be a few seeds developing. I'm hoping they're just fat calyx's that haven't matured yet however there's a strong possibility that, due to a temperature fluctuation that was excessive (20℉) may have caused her to stress and turn hermaphroditic... Fingers crossed! 🤔🤞 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she'll be past the half-way point with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! 3-4 weeks to go and things are looking great in tent 1 where I have 2 Peyote Gorilla girls in an Earthbox. The stretching is complete, and the girls are finishing. This tent was a breeze. No issues with growth and a lot of nutrition the plant can use to finish. Colas are stacking and beefing up... trichomes are very evident and I believe this plant is very happy. I water the humis layer with 1/4 gallon of rainwater to keep moist. However tent 2 is a different story. I noted that the plant was undergoing severe chlorosis. I believe this is due to my re-use of this earthbox jr, has created such a strong root structure from this and previous grows, that the plant cannot uptake nutrients as required. There is plenty of nutrition in the box and I added a small amount (1/4 cup) of Craft Blend mixed with Naranja that I milled and some gnarly barley, a malted seed meal that was germinated and then stopped to trap the seed hormones and prepares the starches to be converted into fermentable sugars. So I know there is great nutrition to the plant available but something else is preventing uptake. I don't use bottled nutrients so I must wait for the food to breakdown and become plant available. At this point of maturity I want to be careful with Nitrogen... I have seen such weird affects that may cause lockout, and foxtailing and new bud growth as the plant is finishing. I will watch carefully as the plant senesces, as bud development is far ahead of development in size compared to tent 1.

Pulled the orange cookie today and couldn’t be happier, the yield is massive, the buds are dense, fruity sweet , sticky and pungent. This plant is prolly my best so far thanks to Dutchfem for another awesome strain . If you’re looking for something special give this strain a try . I’ve smoked a bit of this already and it’s Girl Scout cookies all over then just like a pallet cleanser of citrus freshness that keeps you coming back fir more .

1/15 Day 85 from flip, which is about day 71 of flower. I think both are ready for the chop finally. Looking around the tent today I noticed most leaves up at the top were crispy and falling apart, so I went and trimmed all those off. Looking at trichomes for pheno 1, its pretty close to 50/50 clear and cloudy, but I’ve noticed the amber is really starting to come in. Pheno 2 is more cloudy than clear, and also with a decent amount of amber showing up. I don’t want a large amount of amber trichomes and think it’s about perfect right where it is, so even though both still have some clear I think it’s time to call it. Tomorrow will be chop.

Decided to harvest her she had some nice buds but unfortunately now she's a bit leafy & airy buds due to the light timer stuff up.

It’s so warm today! Of course I pulled all my plants out to spray with spinosad and feed/water. ********* I use a Hudson 2L sprayer. My partner used to work in the film industry and they found this brand of sprayer gets the most thorough even coverage for makeup or whatever movie magic they use sprayers to create. It’s great. ********* The larger gorilla glue has come around but I lost a few nodes. I’m seeing a little PMD, but I’ve been knocking it back when baking soda and water. I’ve been taking scalps, defoliating the big one gently and the little ones need almost daily lollipopping. I’m watching my ph and using more cal mag. I definitely feel like they are two different phenotypes.I have them on individual diets. ********** Some fungal gnats come with the humidity so I topdressed with gnat nix. I don’t believe I overwater so I hope that’s the solution! I think I may wait another week or two and get things more stable before moving to flower. Goodday growmies as i already told you, i could not log in for 11 days (mayb 10 but i like the number 11..😎) Luckily GD finally let me in today..(finally ..sigh) so i can show off my sweet Candy girl! she is so awesome dont tell the other girls but she is the most beautifull RN.. Hedge hogs are multiplying and getting fat in a fast speed! looks like she is leaving then all behind .. 😇👌 it was cold and rainy but Candy still kept showing off her potential anywayz she is not the tallest in my garden but iam feeling this is gonna be a FAT lady 👊 (LOVE BIG BUDS I CANNOT LIE ;)) she has a lotof Arphids too but i try to catch them in their tracks and i let loose some ladybugs, i have kidnapped from my garden.. they are the best @ hunting invaders. and clean up the whole plant👏 this week weather is gonna be much better so good times🙌 there is a lot of wind so lets hope the ladybugs hold on... happy growing for all ✊ ***KISS! growing technique: KeepIt Simple, Stupid!

At day 20 I switched to flowering and sent my light schedule to 12/12 hours of light/darkness, therefore this is the first week of flowering now. I know that these plants from seeds are still to immature to switch to flowering directly, but they will grow slower with 12/12 until they are old enough to flower. This should happen when they are appr. 4 weeks old from germination, then they will be mature enough to be able to flower. I do this, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in its heigth and I want compact and short plants at the end, so i can keep a minimum distance to the LED-lights from SANlight, which are built into the closet. The minimum distance should be appr. 25 cm from the canopy. At Day 25 the biggest three plants (=Double Dutch from Serious Seeds and OG-Kush from Humboldt-Seeds) have grown so many leaves that they start to touch each other and condensed water is building up between them, the plants seem to sweat. This means I have to defoliate the plants again in order to get a better airflow and also to let the light penetrate deeper into the canopy. You can see a video-tutorial for defoliation I made on Day 25. The scissors I use in the video came WITH the closet, they have a special anti-sticky coating and work like a TREAT! During the defoliation I recognize that one sidebranch of a Double Dutch plant is TRIFOLIATE (see in pics!), this means each node grows three instead of two leaves and sidebranches out of it. That is a rare occurrence in cannabis and can be seen like finding a 4-leafed clover. Although this should mean good luck, I also realize more and more fungus gnats flying around and put some sticky yellow strips (=sticky traps for insects) inside the closet. The plants also seem to get a little bit lighter in their green color in general, therefore I decide to start adding nutrients (=PLAGRON-TERRA-BLOOM) to my waterings now. All in all the plants grow like hell (the biggest one is appr. 30 cm tall at the end of week4) and develop excellently...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH MY GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET until now!
