This week I fed Tea ☕️ that consisted of my own worm castings from the bin I made a few months back, molasses for the microbes , and a chicken manure product from Coop Poop. I can already see the difference, unless that’s my mind playing tricks on me, but I like to think that it is working! I think my own castings are the real catalyst to new growth; both now as well as in the future! I did check the trichomes on the plants that seem to be entering senescence (final stage of life). They seem to be still somewhat clear, so I will wait at least another week to harvest. As far as everything else, it has been an easy, uneventful, grow! ☮️💚

29.3.25: This week has flown by. Everything is looking good. I've been watering alternatively with Bud Explosion PK booster and Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients. Also, plain water I'm between feeding. I watered yesterday and had run off from 2 pots, so I will wait for them to dry out sufficiently before watering again. Trying to mitigate the risks of mildew and / or mould due to too much water / humidity. 31.3.25: I cleaned out the tent and disinfected it again. Had a bit of runoff, which had left a bit of residue on the floor. Today, I took all the photos and videos whilst cleaning the tent. The pots had sufficiently dried, so I will water with the Greenleaf nutrients. I watered with dechlorinated water PH'd between 6.2-6.4. 6.5 litres contained the following nutrients: ♡ 1/4 Tsp Mega Crop Part A. ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ 1/4 Tsp Sea K(elp). This grow I am going to do it differently. I am going to do day tracking instead of date tracking. I am using using pre-grown ( two grows ago) Coco mix with nature suppers soil to experiment with reusing grow medium. The pots are 5 gallon air pots. I have never used these before so we will see. The 1st take on them that they are very messy compared to fabric pots. Once established, I will be using half strength Advanced Nutrients for Coco since these are autos. Day 1 - 3 Seeds soaked overnight and were put directly into the 5 gallon pots. I pre-soaked the Coco with 5ml/gallon Clonex and covered the seeds with a mason jar. Day 2 - Temp stayed around 78 all day with me going in and out of the tent looking for a sprout. Nothing yet. 😀 Kept the Coco moist under the jar. Day 3 - Nothing popping Day 4 - Two have popped. Day 5 - One did not pop so I put another seed in Day 6 - The little ones are growing up. It brings a tear to my eye. 😥 Day 7 - The replaced seed looks to be comming up.

Shes growing really well a very sturdy and easy plant to grow. Everything as should be no deficiencies to talk of. Lots of tops created by daily lst. Seeing her hit her growth spurt and also showing us some lovely pistills. Shes very straight forward to deal with

Here comes the branches…I may try cloning a few branches….tentative.

Moving towards the end here. I’ve been checking the trics with a microscope. Flush going strong but she hasn't lost any color at all even though were going towards a week.

NOTES: I stopped using the root stimulator as I fill the tanks, next full nutrient solution change to mid-bloom phase is at around 3rd to 4th week flowering. I'll I stop using the Grow nutrient and will increase Bloom the same amount. A lot of training on upper parts with the net and some light defoliating on lower parts of the plants. Day57 (12.12.) Day58 (13.12.) Defoliated and pruned my plants a bit more. Removed some big fan leaves covering large areas of becoming bud sites but mostly focused on lower leaves growing inwards, blocking growth, airflow etc.. Added a video afterwards. Day59 (14.12.) Day60 (15.12.) I continued doing the same as before, light defoliation mostly under the canopy. Day61 (16.12.) Day62 (17.12.) Everything looks good and my teenagers are finally beginning to flower, also no signs of any males or hermaphodites so that's good. Filling the net and keeping the tops and bud sites at the same level is a lot of work since they've stretched a lot. They've also needed some pruning and defoliating but I've tried to not remove too much before they've finished growing bigger. After that, propably on 4th week of flowering I can decide better on what to remove and what to keep for the rest of the grow. Day63 (18.12.) I started the last heavier defoliation process which includes removing around 50% of the upper leaves blocking airflow and light to the developing bud sites. I'll continue the process propably a couple days so I don't stress them too much. It's pretty time-consuming to dive in to each plant and remove anything that's unneccessary for the rest of the grow, keeping that in mind I don't even have the time to do everything at once. This includes the bottom nodes and branches that aren't going to reach even close to the net, the leaves that are blocking the light on top, and the leaves at the bottom of the canopy that aren't getting basically any light. Very good journey to me, she has responded very well to the lst training, providing me beautiful colas, enough for me to have nice clean organic nuggets to smoke. I would definitely would run this Ak420 by seedstockers again, the sweetest phenotype was the number #2 which you can take a look at here in my page!

So after conferring with one of my dispensary-grower friends, he said that its likely because I had "dry patches", which essentially means, that certain areas of the pot were not getting wet and the roots down there were dying. After being more attentive about evenly watering, and a little defolitation, she's back to looking her old self. Even better actually. She's loving flowering, almost to the point of screaming to me "FINALLY!", and I couldn't agree more. Its been a chilhood dream to be abke to grow my own weed. So after all these years, I am beyond excited. Its so close I can almost *smell* it lol. SideNote: I also took two cuts for clones incase this bud turns out to be bomb.

150 g dry per plant in 12 plant tent. Marvelous in my book with this type of quality.

I am not doing anything at all , this plant is just staying arround in my garden. i just tried topping technic the first time and it worked well. now i just have to hope that this plant will be a lady, then i think i will get a good harvest in september/october.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?
